Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Sealing the Bloodlines, The Four Sacred Guardians

"I can suppress the blood of the Witch Clan, but I have no way to deal with the Demon Clan’s blood," Skye’s voice came, as he turned toward Aureon.

"Don’t look at me. I cultivate the bloodline of the Ancient Human Clan," Aureon said helplessly.

"Are there any revived Demon Clan experts?" Skye asked again.

Coco replied, "Yes, the White Spirit Tiger."

"Sigh, you seniors really think too highly of me. But I can give it a try; whether I can suppress it or not will depend on his own fate," came a weak voice, which then transformed into the phantom of a giant White Spirit Tiger.

It was the true form of the Sacred Beast, the White Spirit Tiger, whose phantom had just materialized. He had only recently awakened, and his strength was not yet very powerful.

Skye continued, "This young one is of great importance. Nothing can happen to him."

"Senior, I understand. If it comes to it, I’ll just go back to sleep," the White Spirit Tiger replied. The giant tiger’s paw was raised, and a pure force merged into Johnnie’s body.

Skye also acted immediately, sending out a mass of black energy.

The two powers were completely different. The White Spirit Tiger’s was the force of the Demon Clan, while Skye’s was the purest power of the Witch Clan.

Their powers entered Johnnie’s body, forcibly suppressing the rampaging Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines, separating them bit by bit.

The fused bloodline power of Witch and Demon was simply not something ordinary people could withstand.

Johnnie’s body was far too weak right now. If he forcefully fused the Witch-Demon bloodline, his body would surely explode and he would die.

Now the only solution was to forcibly separate the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines, and seal them off individually. Once he grew strong enough, they could be merged again.

Within Johnnie, the bloodlines were separated little by little. The raging energy finally dissipated, and he couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief.

But the crisis was not over yet. This was only because Skye and the White Spirit Tiger were forcibly keeping the two bloodlines apart. If their power withdrew, the bloodlines would surely fuse again.

"Skye, Senior, my strength is too weak. I can’t leave my power inside this kid," the White Spirit Tiger said gravely. His phantom dimmed further, already close to its limit.

"Then let’s leave a seal," Skye realized, and could only leave a seal within Johnnie, completely isolating the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines.

"Sigh, looks like I’ll have to go back to sleep again," the White Spirit Tiger sighed. His phantom nearly dissipated, and an even mightier and purer Demon Clan force entered Johnnie’s body. Together with Skye’s power, they formed a seal, thoroughly separating the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines.

A barrier appeared inside Johnnie, and the turbulent force finally calmed down. The two distinct bloodline powers flowed separately, clear and orderly, no longer fusing together.

He couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. Just moments ago, he’d truly thought he might explode and die.

Johnnie opened his eyes, only to see a headless body right in front of him.

"Holy crap!" he yelped, scrambling backward in fright.

"Senior, are you trying to scare me to death?" Johnnie said, a bit annoyed.

"Hmph!" Skye snorted coldly, his voice echoing. "Kid, you really don’t know your own limits. You actually tried to fuse the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines."

Thinking back to the danger just now, Johnnie still felt a lingering fear.

He realized that someone had helped him, which was the only reason those two bloodlines had been completely suppressed.

"Senior, thank you for saving me." He bowed respectfully.

Skye replied irritably, "Forget about the thanks. It’s a shame the White Spirit Tiger finally woke up, and now he’s gone back to sleep just to save you."

The White Spirit Tiger?

Johnnie was stunned for a moment, then realized it must have been the true body of the Sacred Beast, the White Spirit Tiger.

He already knew the White Spirit Tiger was in that unknown space inside the Map of Heaven and Earth.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t had the chance to ask for a White Spirit Tiger pill before the beast fell back into slumber. It looked like he’d have to find another way later.

"Senior, didn’t you say that the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines wouldn’t conflict? Why can’t I have both bloodlines at the same time?" He looked at Skye, asking curiously.

Johnnie had been trapped in the Demon Lair’s Shadow Abyss before, where he met a Witch Clan senior who’d told him refining both bloodlines wouldn’t be a problem.

Was that guy lying to him?

Skye explained, "The two bloodlines do have the same origin, but to fully fuse them, your body needs to be incredibly strong."

Body strength meant the toughness of the physical form, not just an increase in basic stats.

Johnnie asked curiously, "Senior, how strong does my body need to be?"

Skye replied, "Roughly as strong as mine."

Johnnie fell silent.

Skye’s power was far beyond anything he could imagine. Just one weapon in his hand could easily obliterate a Divine.

Johnnie guessed his strength was at least at the Upper God level.

Below Upper God, there were the Core God and Lesser God realms.

Johnnie was confident he could reach the Lesser God level, but he had no clue about the realms beyond that.

He couldn’t help but ask, "Senior, are you an Upper God-level expert?"

"Upper God? Hmph!" Skye scoffed. "My realm isn’t something you can comprehend. But that’s not set in stone—if you get lucky, maybe you can fuse the Witch-Demon bloodline ahead of time."

Skye didn’t want to explain further. With a flicker, he disappeared.

Johnnie felt a bit disappointed. It seemed fusing the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines just wasn’t happening any time soon.

The good news was, his strength had increased massively in this battle.

He’d refined the energy core, killed a Divine, and received the Montemar Empire king’s title bonus. His base stats had increased by 70%, and his four basic attributes had reached an astonishing level.

All four basic attributes had risen above 300,000 points, with Strength and Spirit over 380,000.

But the scariest part was, with the Cosmic Eclipse Blade’s passive stacking, his Physical Damage had surpassed 500,000.

Honestly, as long as he didn’t run into Stage 9, Legendary experts, or Divines, he could handle pretty much anyone with ease.

If he got the chance to stack the Cosmic Eclipse Blade passive, he could even take down a Divine’s avatar.

With his power now, taking out a Mechanical Race Battle Mecha should be a breeze.

Even if he ran into a Mechanical Titan-level opponent, he could just pull them into the Map of Heaven and Earth and leave them for Skye to handle.

A thought crossed Johnnie’s mind, and he left the Mountain and River Space, deciding to set out for Novice Village No. 33 to search for the Map of Heaven and Earth fragments.

"Johnnie, I was just looking for you!" As soon as he appeared, Cecilia walked over, her eyes full of hope. "Do you still have any Demon Clan blood or a Glassy Heart?"

Johnnie was startled for a moment, then realized she wanted to change class to the Four Sacred Guardians.

"Yes, I do," Johnnie replied, and took out a Glassy Heart and ten drops of Demon Clan blood.

These things were no longer all that rare to him.

He could fish up Demon Clan blood straight from the unknown space inside the Map of Heaven and Earth.

As for the Glassy Heart, he already had seven of them— all dropped from powerful monsters he’d slain in battle over the past few days.

"Wow, that’s a lot!" Cecilia exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she happily took them.

Johnnie asked curiously, "Are you planning to change class to the Four Sacred Guardians?"

Cecilia nodded. "Mm-hmm. Those seniors said I have good talent and are willing to bless me so I can change class to the Four Sacred Guardians."

"Really?" Johnnie was genuinely curious about what kind of class the Four Sacred Guardians actually was.

Cecilia couldn’t wait. She refined the Demon Clan blood and the Glassy Heart, then went to find Azure Dragon and the others.

"Seniors, I’m ready now. Can I change class?" she asked them eagerly.

Azure Dragon and the others sensed the power in Cecilia’s body and nodded in satisfaction.

"Let’s begin."

Azure Dragon, Black Tortoise, Phoenix, and the avatar of the White Spirit Tiger each stood at one of the four cardinal directions, forming a circle around Cecilia.

Powerful waves of energy surged around the four, blessing her and enveloping Cecilia.

Buzz!

Light began to flicker around Cecilia, and a faint, invisible force radiated out.

[System Announcement: Player Cecilia is the first to change class to the Four Sacred Guardians! Reward: 10,000 free attribute points.]

Suddenly, the system announcement rang out, causing quite a stir.

Johnnie was surprised—a system announcement just for changing class to the Four Sacred Guardians?

And they were handing out 10,000 free attribute points!

The light faded, and Cecilia completed her class change. She immediately checked her new class features.

"Cecilia, how is it?" Johnnie asked anxiously.

"Take a look for yourself, Johnnie!" Cecilia’s face was glowing with joy as she showed off her stats.

[Azure Dragon’s Blessing: Health points +10%]

[White Spirit Tiger’s Blessing: Physical damage +10%]

[Phoenix’s Blessing: Magic damage +10%]

[Black Tortoise’s Blessing: Physical and magic defense +10%]

Besides the four blessings, she also got a 10% boost to all five elemental attributes.

She also learned several powerful skills—physical, magical, defensive, and support.

Johnnie was amazed. This Four Sacred Guardians class seemed even stronger than the Sword Immortal and Mage of the Five Elements classes he’d changed to.

And it was the most well-rounded class he’d ever seen.

And this was only stage 2. As the class tier increased, it would definitely get even stronger.

"Johnnie, what do you think? Want to give up one of your classes and become a Four Sacred Guardian?" Phoenix landed on his head, speaking with pride.

Johnnie was definitely tempted—he even considered giving up his Mage of the Five Elements class.

But after thinking it through, he decided against it. The Mage of the Five Elements had powerful elemental skills, and giving it up would mean losing all those abilities and the class inheritance.

He was a little reluctant to do that.

"I’ll wait until I unlock my third class change," Johnnie said.

With a class this strong, of course he wanted to change to it eventually.

Phoenix looked a bit disappointed, but didn’t say anything more.

Johnnie turned and asked, "Seniors, as long as someone gets Demon Clan blood, can you help them change class?"

He still had quite a bit of Demon Clan blood left. Just refining a drop was enough to meet the class change requirement.

Azure Dragon shook his head. "It’s possible, but only if we approve. We’ve observed your friends, and only this little girl barely meets our standards."

Johnnie felt a little let down. He’d been hoping Dylan and the others could all become Four Sacred Guardians too.

But that was reasonable—powerful classes shouldn’t be something anyone can just pick up.

Azure Dragon continued, "You can keep an eye out for us. If you find people with a Five Elements affinity and good character, they can also become a Four Sacred Guardian."
