194: Chapter 193 Rat Raksha Skeleton 194: Chapter 193 Rat Raksha Skeleton Black Crow led the five netherworld imps up front, clearing the route while the two men followed behind at a leisurely pace.

“Overturning Water, I feel that Sister Qing’s words were partly true and partly false.” Black Crow twisted his head and said to Su Ran.

“Oh?

How so?” Su Ran asked with interest, appreciating the rare moment Black Crow managed to spare some brainpower.

“It is indeed true that Burrow Rats once inhabited this deep pit.” Black Crow pointed to the rat-repelling ointment on his back and said, “This is the best proof.”

“Also, what she said about there being a big BOSS and a mysterious treasure chest in here could be real.

But why would she go to such lengths to make us die in this pit instead of on the steps leading into it?”

“Those two players at the top of the pit never jumped down.

It appears something inside is making them nervous.

As we keep moving forward, the answer will eventually reveal itself.” Su Ran nodded, his gaze towards the end of the pit.

They moved at a slow pace, not encountering a single monster along the way.

It was indeed true that the work of those who went before paved the way for those who followed.

Suddenly.

A deep voice echoed, filling the entire pit.

“Whelps, why do you disturb my rest again?” The voice paused for a moment, then said, “Hmm, a new gang?

The weakness of the Human Race truly disappoints me!

Reminds me of the old times…but never mind, never mind.”

“Whelps, you have two options; either kill me or accept the task I give you!”

“Who’s speaking?!” Black Crow was startled, gathering the courage to yell, “Quit your mumbo-jumbo nonsense!

Show yourself!”

Su Ran remained silent, did a hand gesture, and summoned his doppelganger, the Dark Bone Bear, preparing for battle.

“F**k, this fiend can instantly move!” Black Crow saw the Dark Bone Bear appear by his side, swiftly retreated a few steps, pointed at Su Ran’s doppelganger, and sternly said, “You demon!

Declare your name!”

“Cut it out, this is my pet.”

Su Ran rolled his eyes, fixed his gaze on the end of the pit, and knew that the big BOSS, mentioned by the female player who claimed to be Sister Qing, was about to make his appearance.

“Uh, you could at least tell me when you summon your pet.

As for your taste, it’s quite unique.

Among all the creatures you could have summoned as a pet, why did you summon a skeleton bear?

I just don’t understand!” Black Crow was preoccupied by Su Ran’s summoned Dark Bone Bear.

“Holy cow, the skull resembles a bear!”

“Hmmm, it’s a Dark Bone Bear.

Quit being flabbergasted and start thinking about how to kill this BOSS,” Su Ran whispered to Black Crow.

He was eager to kill this BOSS, it might drop a huge load of valuable equipment!

“Oh, isn’t that simple?

My five imps can bombard it in rotation.

If that doesn’t work, I can always summon Rat Rakshasa.

Then, we can have your pet take the frontline, while we attack from the back.

What BOSS can’t we take down?” Black Crow was not one to fear trouble.

He excitedly held the equipped staff in his hand, impatiently waiting for the appearance of the BOSS.

“Be careful, this BOSS might have soul control skills.

What that woman said might not be false,” Su Ran warned Black Crow quietly, hoping that he would quickly respond correctly.

“Whelps, have you reached a decision yet?

Which choice do you make?

Speak your answer!” This sudden voice resounded like a muffled thunder, oozing with heavy impatience.

“Elder, conversing from a distance is quite disrespectful.

We would like to come closer and witness your grandeur to give you the respect you deserve!” Su Ran yelled out with neither humility nor arrogance.

The pit grew silent.

What seemed like forever passed before the voice echoed again, “Come then, keep moving forward, and you will find where I reside at the end.”

Upon hearing this, both Su Ran and Black Crow’s spirits rose.

They quickly rushed towards the front, not noticing that the three players Black Crow had killed had gotten back up and were mindlessly walking towards the dark end of the pit.

“Wow, what a gigantic skeleton!”

When they reached their destination, they found an altar that was emanating a faint blue light.

A huge skeleton was suspended high above the alter.

Blue lightning surged out from the inside of the altar, wrapping around the skeleton before merging back into the altar, in an endless cycle.

Su Ran clearly saw that when the blue lightning passed through the skeleton, it seemed to endure unbearable pain.

Its entire skeleton was trembling, and it was growling.

Interestingly, the skeleton’s head was rodent-shaped.

“Is this…Rat Rakshasa?”

Black Crow, too surprised to think, blurted out his question.

“Crap!”

Su Ran glared at the careless Black Crow.

Since this skeleton had the head of a rat, the term Rat Rakshasa must be a keyword!

It’s unpredictable what unnecessary trouble it might cause after being triggered.

As expected.

After hearing the term Rat Rakshasa, the skeleton abruptly straightened up.

The sinister green light in its eyes briefly flashed, and its gaze fixated on the two men.

“Baseborn of the Human Race, have you ever seen Rat Rakshasa?”

“Of course…”

A smug look spread across Black Crow’s face, and he was just about to speak, but Su Ran covered his mouth, leaving only his muffled voice.

“Dear sir, may I know your name?”

Su Ran wanted to inspect this skeleton’s attributes.

Unfortunately, the altar blocked his view and he couldn’t even see the name.

“Me?

I am the true Rat Rakshasa!”

The giant rodent-headed skeleton seemed very angry.

It roared to the sky, “Damn it all to hell, even the God Race!

Once I, Rat Rakshasa, break this seal, I will battle you for three hundred rounds!”

“In bed?”

Black Crow continued the sentence in a lecherous undertone.

Su Ran was speechless.

He looked at Rat Rakshasa, whose anger had accelerated the frequency of the blue lightning from the altar.

Even the bolts of lightning thickened, their electric currents torturing it to the point of being unbearable.

It trembled violently, let out multiple roars.

Seeing this, he was reminded of the Skeleton Saint who was also sealed at the top of the Demon Tower.

Why couldn’t they just be killed outright?

Why were these undead creatures allowed to linger on in such a state?

What exactly was the God Race scheming?

“Honorable Rat Rakshasa, of course this name belongs to you.” Su Ran motioned Black Crow not to utter anything unnecessary.

“Whelps, I give you two choices: either kill me or accept the task I give you!” The skeleton calling himself Rat Rakshasa suddenly fell into a daze and mechanically voiced this again.

However, Rat Rakshasa’s skeleton started trembling violently again.

It forcefully struck its own skull with its hands.

Flames of rage burst forth from its eyes, and it yelled, “Don’t even think about controlling me!

I am, after all, the only Rat Rakshasa under the heavens and above the earth.

It is utterly ludicrous!”

“Boom!”

An intense wave of power emanated from its bone marrow and the altar’s seal began to shake.

Lightning continuously struck the body of Rat Rakshasa, exploding on contact.

“Hiss…”

Overwhelmed by the extreme pain, Rat Rakshasa started twitching.

But its eyes held a fearsome look, resembling a bloodthirsty beast.

It would rather die than submit!
