Chapter 496 496: Tang Sen's will?

The old man sitting on the top floor didn't vanish from his spot. He just walked like a normal human and then came out of his room. As he put his hands behind his back and strolled through the coiling corridors that connected all of the rooms and spaces in the council building.

The old man looked around leisurely, sometimes he nodded and sometimes he shook his head with an exasperated sigh on his face. As he drew closer to the forging room where Hao Ren was swinging his hammer with complete focus, the man stopped, because in his eyes the ripples originating from this forging room were seeping out in the council building, and just when the old man thought about casting a barrier to isolate these ripples, he saw a scene that caused his eyes to open wide.

He gave up the casual manners he had and vanished from his spot and appeared in the entrance hall, where an inverted cauldron was place. The old man gulped and his forehead was covered in cold sweat. It was not only him who was shocked, following him many old and burly people appeared around the cauldron and they were gazing at the artifact with burning gazes.

One of them wanted to take a step forward when he heard a calm voice, "Titus, what do you think you are doing?"

Titus, the elder who was second only to this old man council woke up from his daze and looked at the old man as he bowed and said, "Grandmaster Sypher, thank you for waking me up."

Sypher shook his head and said, "Even I was about to give in to the temptation but managed to stay awake by biting my tongue."

The rest of the elders exchanged gazes and they shivered as Titus sighed and commented, "I wonder which genius has managed to invoke the will of this Fantasy Cauldron."

The people were all thinking about the same thing but they had no conclusion, when Sypher said, "I think I know who is behind this but I am not sure if you all would like the answer to this question."

They all looked at him and Titus frowned as he ran his brain at maximum and asked, "Is it the one person whom we were discussing about?"

Sypher nodded, and replied, "Elder Wang, can you check the register and tell me who is inside Refining room number eleven?"

Elder Wang bowed and vanished from his spot. Wang was not an artifact refiner but he had the skill for management and thus he was respected by the maniacs who loved the furnaces more than anything.

After a few minutes, Elder Wang reappeared and said, "I found out, it is Grandmaster Kar, and his grandson. However, they have come over with a rather young Grandmaster."

Titus sighed and said, "Fuck."

Even his curse was left without any hope. As if the cauldron wanted to laugh at his state of mind, as soon as Titus finished speaking, the cauldron flipped over, and when it landed on the ground it shook the entire building. The people were forced to take a few steps back from the momentum.

Sypher sighed and said, "Well, Fantasia, it is good that you finally have found someone, but can you stop scaring everyone else?"

The cauldron shivered and then it fell silent. Sypher rubbed his head, he had an affinity towards spirits. His own forging hammer was a high level spirit artifact. Apart from him, none could move the hammer, and that hammer of his became the reason why the cauldron interacted with him every now and then.

Titus asked, "How long has it been since they went inside?"

Elder Wang replied, "Grandmaster, they went inside one hour ago."

Sypher looked at everyone else and asked, "Can you not sense the ripples he is creating inside the room? They are causing the entire place to tremble. That is what awakened Fantasia completely."

Titus said, "Let's wait till the competition. If he is given so much attention it might look biased."

Sypher looked at the cauldron on the ground and said, "Fantasia, I will ask him to come here and try to perceive your spirit. Please give us all some face and not surrender easily."

The Cauldron trembled strongly, as if saying, "What do you mean that I should give you all some face? Can I eat your face? It is worthless to me, I will hold back from submitting to this guy because of my own face."

The discussion was brief but it completed all the things, and then after a few minutes, they all sensed that the vibrations vanished, and everything returned to complete calm. Sypher and Titus nodded to each other and vanished from their spots. So did the rest of the elders. Only Elder Wang was standing there.

Hao Ren finished refining his artifact and placed it inside his space ring and turned to face the two shocked humans. He asked, "Are you guys okay?"

The first one to respond was Grandmaster Kar, who put his finger to his lips and pointed at Sekai, who was gazing at the void in a daze. The young man was going through enlightenment after he watched what Hao Ren did.

Grandmaster Kar used spiritual communication and said, "Thank you for your help, Grandmaster Ren."

The old man put away his pride as a grandmaster and bowed to Hao Ren. The latter waved his hand and used the spiritual energy to stop the old man from bowing, as he said, "Don't worry."

The young man said, "We should go out and wait for him. The spiritual fluctuations lingering in the surroundings is beneficial to him."

The two people then headed out. Hao Ren was completely unaware that he was being watched from the shadows, but they were careful not to watch too intently. As they came out of the refining room. Grandmaster Kar sighed and said, "I should find Elder Wang, he manages the entire ground floor. I will have him lock the door so that Sekai is not disturbed."

Hao Ren nodded and then he followed Grandmaster Kar, and surprisingly, the latter just turned and made his way over to the center of the big hall, where an old man was checking the shine of the tile.

Grandmaster Kar called out, "Elder Wang."

The old man turned around. Hao Ren didn't take notice of his appearance, as his gaze was attracted to a cauldron sitting on the floor. He ignored the two old men and moved around them before he used his 'Eyes of insight.'

The next moment, he was shocked, and his body trembled. The information he interpreted from the body of the cauldron was way too shocking then the fact that the spirit inside this artifact was awake and looking at him.

The young man sat down on the ground, and using his cheat he began to decode all the knowledge he had gained. The entire scene shocked the people and Elder Wang quickly waved his hand and wanted to cast a barrier around Hao Ren and the cauldron, when the Cauldron shivered and it shattered the barrier before expanding into a size that could swallow five humans. Then the cauldron, under the shocked gazes of the hundreds of people, flipped over, and landed upside down with Hao Ren sitting inside the shade.

The young man had no idea what was going on around him, but his brain was sprinting. The system sighed, *This motherfucker has always been like this, always using the cheats to get things his way, but this time if he wants to get out of here, he would need to follow my designs. I have taken enough vacation, loser.*

Hao Ren didn't know that the system has basically decided to tag him as an enemy for some time to come.

Elder Wang sighed and said, "Too much for caution."

Grandmaster Kar smiled, he was beyond the point where Hao Ren could surprise him. He sighed and replied, "Sure enough, geniuses are all simply monsters. Inside the refining room, he crafted an artifact that almost gave birth to a spirit but he faltered on the last step. I am afraid, that when the competition starts, he will make the people bow their heads to him."

Elder Wang sighed and said, "I wonder if he can invoke the will left behind by Refining Saint Tang Sen."

As soon as the man stopped speaking, the cauldron began to glow and then it emitted a luster like none else. Everyone had to close their eyes and they saw the spirit phantom of a lady standing above the cauldron. She was very beautiful and dignified. People who saw her wanted to bow their heads in worship.

Suddenly, the phantom frowned and she shivered as she said, "Fucking Tang Sen, you scheming old bastard! How dare you leave me here in the Refining Council? Why am I surrounded by stinking metal and where is my Seven Star Alchemy Gate?!"

Her voice shook the building and it forced Sypher to appear again, with shock and fear written all over his face.
