Chapter 2516: Vampire in the Sewers I

Solstice wanted to move as she was getting a bit cramped inside of the bag, but she must endure. She needed to be kidnapped by the vampires to make sure that they deliver her directly to their leader. One might say that vampires have free reign, but they always have hierarchy in their system. This is the reason why higher persona of vampires are labeled just like nobility.

When a Blood Queen is involved then all vampires under her will need to adhere to her every wishes. The vampires will need to please and be in the good graces of the Blood Queen or else they will be shunned. Contrary to popular belief, vampires in Pandemonium are just like their counterparts which are werewolves.

Both werewolves and vampires are creatures that are dependent on others for survival. Werewolves hunt in packs as they are stronger together while vampires form families as living long lives gets lonely. This also stems from the fact that their original ancestor split itself into two as they became lonely. It is also the reason why vampires and werewolves are different despite having the same ancestor.

"Just place the bag down there but be careful. This will be the queen’s new toy to make sure that we are not the ones that are going to get punished." Joaquin stated.

"Are you sure that this one is good? The other toys were not beautiful enough for the standard of the queen. In the end, the ones that brought those defective toys were all tortured." Another vampire different from the two that brought Solstice stated.

"You can even take a peek at her if you want. She is incredibly beautiful that the queen will definitely have some fun playing with her." The other vampire that came with Joaquin stated.

"I guess I have to inspect it then. If this falls behind standard, then at least we got some food." The third vampire stated.

The third vampire then opened the bag and took a peek to check the woman that Joaquin and his servant captured. The third vampire peeked and saw Solstice that is faking that she is still unconscious. The third vampire could not believe that they got such a beautiful woman.

"Wow! She is indeed beautiful! Maybe I can turn her into my own slave instead." The third vampire stated.

"Do not even think about it. We are going to be the ones blessed by the queen with her blood." Joaquin stated as he glared at the third vampire.

"I was just giving a lighthearted joke. Let me see one more time before that beautiful face of hers gets destroyed." The third vampire stated as he peeked once more.

"Argh...Ugh...Agh!"

"Gross! Do not defile the toy." Joaquin stated but the third vampire turned to him with its entire mouth vomiting blood.

The third vampire could not even escape as Solstice’s hands crushed his heart. Solstice is not done as she promptly decapitated the head of the vampire in an instant. She then rose from the bag with her hands all bloodied up and the shadows coming towards her body as it formed her a battle dress.

"Ah! Finally! I am able to stretch." Solstice stated as her eyes glowed red and the transformation finally lifted to reveal an even more beautiful lady.

"It’s her! We have to run!" The vampire assistant of Joaquin shouted as he recognized Solstice.

"What do you mean?" Joaquin asked.

"It’s the notorious Lady in Black. The princess of the Edelblud family and the heir to that crazy duchess. Solstice Edelblud!" The vampire assistant stated as he started to bolt towards the door.

Solstice smiled as her fangs could now be seen clearly. She suddenly held out her hand as the blood of the vampire she just killed turned into a spear. She then promptly tossed this spear towards the escaping vampire. The vampire assistant suddenly found itself pinned towards a wall with a blood spear that directly pierced his heart.

"Hiehh! Have mercy!" Joaquin shouted as he suddenly started to bow down and kneel on the ground.

The pressure that Solstice was giving is not something that a low-level vampire that a Baron like Joaquin can deal with. Even if they do not share the same bloodline or family, the very aura of nobility that Solstice has could easily make Joaquin quiver in fear. He wanted to run for his life but if he did that then he would end up just like his assistant.

Clack...clack...clack

The sound of Solstice’ heels created terror in the heart of Joaquin. He did not know if he would end up like the others, but he felt like he was kept alive for a reason. If he acts like the perfect slave, then he might be able to live. This is also the reason why he can survive this long under the tyranny of a Blood Queen.

"Take me to your queen. If you do so, I might even let you live." Solstice stated as she stopped in front of the trembling vampire.

"Please! Anything but that! I will get killed by her trusted nobles." Joaquin stated as all vampires that dared to become traitors were all beheaded and their bodies burned.

"I could kill you right now." Solstice stated with a voice that made one’s skin crawl.

Joaquin made the mistake of looking up and saw the terrifying expression that Solstice has. The red eyes that represented power bore down on Joaquin to the point that he started to pee himself. Such acts are unbefitting of vampires which is why those that do such things often get killed. Nobilities of the Night must maintain proper decorum after all, but Solstice did not say anything.

"Are you done? If you are then lead the way." Solstice stated as she crushed the right hand of the vampire in front of her as a threat.

"Argh! Yes! I will lead you. Please! No more." Joaquin stated as he pitifully led the way to the depths of the sewers where the queen resides.
