Chapter 451: Chapter 426: Does Beifeng Still Have His Muscles?
Tang Xinru nodded, "If those wolves and tigers can bite Jiang Zhe, especially her beautiful face, it would be great if they could leave a scar!"
Wang Liang alone definitely couldn’t handle fighting so many wolves and tigers at the same time, and with Jiang Zhe so close, it was the perfect opportunity.
Tang Xinru was all about action,
She went around behind Jiang Zhe and Beifeng, and found the vines on the large tree.
Wang Liang gestured to her that he was ready.
Tang Xinru reached out to pull the vines.
The moment she touched the vine, a sharp pain shot through the back of her hand, as a stone viciously struck her hand.
She looked up to meet Jiang Zhe’s mocking gaze, and seeing how composed she was, it was clear the stone had been thrown by her.
Tang Xinru, feeling wronged, cried out, "Jiang Zhe, why are you hitting me?"
"Anything that comes close to the vines, be it pigs, dogs, or beasts, I hit, understand?" Jiang Zhe said casually.
Her tone was very nonchalant.
Tang Xinru was so insulted she felt her eyes welling up with anger.
Wang Liang angrily retorted, "Jiang Zhe, don’t go too far! Xinru was just looking for a tree to rest by. The forest doesn’t belong to your family, does it?"
Tang Xinru was choking back sobs, looking even more pitiful.
"Let’s see where it hurts..." Wang Liang said, tenderly holding Tang Xinru’s hand.
Beifeng had been standing by with his arms crossed, enjoying the drama.
But when he heard Wang Liang’s accusation toward Jiang Zhe, he had already picked up a stone.
Tang Xinru, with her keen eyes, noticed it and quickly hid her hands behind her back, fearing that Beifeng would throw the stone at her.
Wang Liang stood in front of her protectively, "Don’t be afraid, I don’t believe they dare to hit you."
Beifeng threw the stone at them, causing Wang Liang and Tang Xinru to stagger back a couple of steps.
Then they realized, the target of Beifeng’s stone was not them, but the vines holding the wolves and tigers, the very ones Tang Xinru was going to pull.
One, two, three... the stones kept coming.
As the vines began to loosen, Wang Liang and Tang Xinru finally realized that Beifeng intended to set the tigers and wolves free.
Wang Liang, surprised, said, "Are you trying to..."
Tang Xinru wasn’t particularly afraid of the tigers and wolves being released. She pulled Wang Liang, signaling that this was exactly what they wanted, right?
Wang Liang also remembered their plan was just that; if Beifeng was foolish enough to help, they would let him.
"Isn’t this your intention? I’m lending you a hand," Beifeng said as he threw the last stone.
Just as Wang Liang and Tang Xinru had hoped, they secretly rejoiced.
The vines fell apart on cue, and the bound tigers and wolves plummeted fiercely from mid-air.
Their landing on the sharp rocks below caused them to let out piercing roars of pain.
Before Wang Liang and Tang Xinru could understand why Beifeng was helping them, the beasts recovered from their fall and sprang towards them.
Being bound and dropped had caused them to lose much of their fighting strength.
So Wang Liang did not think of running away. He had managed to take down the strongest of the wolves with a single punch, so dealing with these half-weakened beasts was nothing for him to fear.
Tang Xinru didn’t run either, instead hiding behind Wang Liang.
Jiang Zhe turned to glance at Beifeng and seeing him standing leisurely by, she couldn’t help but find it amusing, wondering what kind of confidence Wang Liang and Tang Xinru had to provoke Beifeng.
Then the tigers and wolves lunged at Wang Liang, their cavernous mouths aiming to bite.
Wang Liang, following his triumphant experience from before, punched one of the wolves in the head with full force.
This wolf, already mostly debilitated, staggered under his blow, whimpering and unable to rise for the moment.
Wang Liang’s confidence soared, and he gave Tang Xinru a look before continuing to take down the remaining tigers and wolves with his bare hands.
Tang Xinru was thrilled; it was finally Wang Liang’s time to shine.
The assistant director, seeing this scene in the broadcast room, hurriedly searched for the remote, "Give me the remote!"
The head director leisurely handed over the remote.
"D Zone 525, F Zone 834..." the assistant director muttered as he recited the numbers corresponding to the beasts.
He looked for those numbers on the remote and pressed them. If shocked, the beasts would collapse immediately,
Thus Wang Liang and Tang Xinru wouldn’t be harmed.
The head director was resentful, "How do you know the beasts’ numbers? Why didn’t you tell me when Jiang Zhe was being attacked earlier?"
The assistant director ignored him and kept pressing the remote.
