Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl
Chapter 421 - 411: He doesn’t represent my interests?

Chapter 421: Chapter 411: He doesn’t represent my interests?

"Difficult to say," Jiang Zhe spoke from the side, "these places can’t be infiltrated by just anyone. There are no more than a handful of people in the world capable of tampering with these things simultaneously. Even if it were explained, it’s not certain anyone would believe it."

Qin Jingchen agreed with Jiang Zhe’s opinion, "Even if they believed it, and knew it was Qin Kuo’s doing, it wouldn’t change the current situation. Qin Kuo is my twin brother, we share the same face, grew up in the same family – who can guarantee he doesn’t represent my interests?"

"Damn it!" Fen Ye clenched his teeth in anger, "Is there really nothing that can be done?"

Qin Jingchen and Jiang Zhe gave no answer to him.

Jiang Zhe remembered what Qin Jingchen had once said – because Qin Kuo’s brain cells were nourished within his own mind, it was highly likely he could pry into his thoughts and share his wisdom.

Thus, he was capable of doing these things ordinary people could not do.

Now that Qin Kuo was acting in this way, who could stop him?

...

As soon as Xia Enci was discharged from the hospital, she was directly placed into a military camp by He Zizhou.

He Ling implored Jiang Zhe, "Sister-in-law, Enci’s leg has just healed, and I’m afraid she can’t withstand this kind of training. Could you accompany her for the first few days? I know there are military doctors there, but I don’t trust any of them!"

"Alright, I’ll go over," Jiang Zhe said, "Prepare a suitable set of clothes for me."

He Ling handed over the clothes with both hands, "Everything is ready."

Jiang Zhe: "..."

She grabbed the clothes.

Upon arriving at the military camp, Xia Enci felt quite in her element.

She was naturally strong-willed and enjoyed these kinds of rough-and-tumble activities more than sitting in a classroom reading.

This place was just right.

Seeing Jiang Zhe approaching in full military garb, she waved her hands excitedly, "Xiaozhe!"

As Jiang Zhe drew near, she asked, "Why are you here?"

"I’m here to have fun for a couple of days," Jiang Zhe replied, "Does your leg still hurt?"

"Not at all! So, are you going to run with me?"

She looked at Jiang Zhe thoughtfully, remembering that Jiang Zhe wasn’t into these activities, and shook her head, "Never mind, you take a rest here. I’ll go for the run first, then come back for you later."

Having said that, she had already caught up with the tail of the large group running past.

Although Jiang Zhe wore the military uniform, she was too lazy to move and found a shady spot to sit down.

Watching them run was boring, so she took out her cellphone to play with.

"Hey, you!" A man in military uniform approached very sternly, "Slacking is one thing, but who gave you the phone? Don’t you know mobile phones have to be turned in during training here?"

"I..."

Jiang Zhe had yet to finish speaking when she was interrupted, "What ’I’? Drop and give me a hundred squats – hand over the phone!"

The man was a squad leader known for his strictness, hand outstretched, face stern.

Even though Jiang Zhe was there to accompany Xia Enci, she indeed occupied a spot.

She proposed, "Squad leader, how about a sparring match instead? If I lose, I’ll take triple the punishment. If I win, the punishment is null, okay?"

The squad leader sneered, "You, a new recruit and a young lady, dare to challenge me? Bring it on!"

Seeing Jiang Zhe’s delicate appearance, and aware she was just a new recruit, he never planned to be serious at first but intended to teach her a small lesson to make her remember.

He assumed a defensive posture, signalling Jiang Zhe to make the first move.

Jiang Zhe, however, nodded, indicating for him to strike first.

The squad leader didn’t want to waste time and threw a move at Jiang Zhe.

Without touching Jiang Zhe, he found himself flipped onto the ground by her.

Though the squad leader was surprised, it was not highly unusual to him; he chastised himself for being careless, using only a fraction of his strength.

So the next time, he used five levels of strength.

Still, he was thrown to the ground directly.

He couldn’t believe it and on the next attempt, he gathered his spirits and used his full strength, ten levels worth, but this time was no different; he was swiftly flipped over by Jiang Zhe.

He looked at Jiang Zhe and changed his approach as he charged over.

Jiang Zhe stood his ground without moving, and when he came at her, with the same adaptive posture, she easily flipped him over.

The squad leader tried many different attacking styles, but no matter which one, Jiang Zhe didn’t even need to dodge; she flipped him over every single time.

She flipped him so much that he began to doubt his life, unable to believe what was happening before his eyes.

Jiang Zhe shook her phone, "The punishment doesn’t count. I don’t need the training either, right?"

The squad leader was silent. With Jiang Zhe’s ability, indeed there was no need for her to attend the recruit training.

Now tired, Jiang Zhe took her phone and walked towards a shady spot.

The squad leader was not convinced. What exactly was the background of this new female soldier?

If he were to attack her from behind all of a sudden, could he possibly...

Thinking this, the squad leader crept up behind Jiang Zhe.

Before he could make his move, suddenly he was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground, landing on his butt.

Hearing the noise, Jiang Zhe turned around and saw the squad leader crash hard onto the ground, and beside him, with no one else around, stood Qin Jingchen in a black dress shirt, his brows deeply furrowed.

When he looked at Jiang Zhe, his eyes revealed a gentle softness.

"Attacking from the back, what kind of hero does that make you?" the squad leader said as he got up from the ground, unwilling to admit defeat.

Qin Jingchen adjusted his sleeves and said leisurely, "Then you should first ask yourself."

The squad leader remembered it was he who had intended to sneak up on Jiang Zhe and suddenly flushed with embarrassment.

But as a fierce soldier of the new recruit training camp, first, being beaten down by the new female soldier, then thrown out by someone who wasn’t even from the military, the squad leader found it hard to swallow his pride.

"I admit it was wrong of me to think of attacking her from behind. That was my mistake. I’ll punish myself with three hundred push-ups later! But you, do you dare to face me head-on?"

He doubted his own abilities and was very eager to make a comparison.

Qin Jingchen didn’t want to compete with him, but seeing his earnest gaze, he said indifferently, "Fine, just one move."

Disbelievingly, the squad leader charged at Qin Jingchen.

After one move, he was lying on the ground.

Staring at the sky, he was immersed in intense self-doubt.

Qin Jingchen walked towards Jiang Zhe, "I heard you were here keeping Xia Enci company, so I came to have a look."

"There’s not much to keep her company for; her leg injury is already healed." Jiang Zhe looked around to see Xia Enci, who had started running at the back of the pack, was now leading at the front.

Qin Jingchen smiled, "Then you just let others bother you?"

"I am, after all, wearing this military uniform," Jiang Zhe said, not willing to disobey orders.

Qin Jingchen looked her up and down. The military uniform on her added a valiant and lively charm. The belt cinched her waist tightly, which paradoxically made her figure more pronounced than her usual clothing.

Whereas others ended the training and fighting looking disheveled, she only seemed more radiant.

He placed his hand on her waist.

Jiang Zhe reminded him, "Qin Sir, mind the setting."

Qin Jingchen slowly withdrew his hand, a smile lingering on the corner of his lips.

"Since there’s nothing much for you to do here, let’s go," he said with a smile.

"Okay," Jiang Zhe replied.
