Chapter 400: Chapter 392 Unilateral Slaughter_3

Occasionally someone would snatch a question but fail to answer it, and they could only wait for Jiang Zhe.

When the competition ended, Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine University achieved a crushing victory.

"Is it over just like that?"

"Can we have a separate show just for Jiang Zhe?"

"Why not just let Jiang Zhe have a study session or a live quiz session? I could watch it all day!"

"I could follow along and learn!"

Zhang Lingling had deliberately thrust Jiang Zhe into the spotlight, actually hoping to secretly make Jiang Zhe embarrass himself on the live broadcast and slink away from the program.

She had not anticipated that Jiang Zhe would dominate the competition.

The questions in this program were always challenging, and it was a tradition for only senior students to participate; occasionally when a junior did, it was always an exceptional student.

Yet, Jiang Zhe single-handedly defeated everyone in this competition.

Zhang Lingling felt a buzzing in her ears as she watched Jiang Zhe descend the stage with an unchanged expression after receiving his prize.

After Jiang Zhe stepped down, someone came over and said, "Jiang Zhe, Professor Tan has asked for you to stop by."

...

In the professor’s office.

Tan Feifei, holding the photos on her phone, seriously said, "Even though it was just a minor test, I believe that every exam, no matter what kind, should maintain fairness and justice. That’s what’s beneficial for every student, and it’s also in accordance with school regulations, isn’t it?"

"Yes, so explain how exactly Jiang Zhe and Xia Enci cheated," Professor Tan asked.

Two other professors were also present, as the issue was significant enough to merit Professor Tan’s involvement.

Tan Feifei said, "This is Xia Enci’s textbook. Only the topics from this exam were highlighted in her book. It’s said that it was Jiang Zhe who highlighted them overnight. As a result, Jiang Zhe got a perfect score, and Xia Enci also did well. I have reason to suspect Jiang Zhe knew the questions and answers beforehand."

She did not say it was Professor Tan who had leaked the questions to Jiang Zhe.

But the evidence she had was enough to accuse Jiang Zhe.

No matter where Jiang Zhe got the questions and answers from, it was unfair to the others.

Professor Tan and the two professors took her phone and looked closely at Xia Enci’s textbook captured in the photos.

Indeed, every highlighted section corresponded to questions from the exam.

If one were to memorize the highlighted parts, scoring high would be no problem.

Obviously, the professors had not given the students such specific highlights.

Professor Tan’s brows furrowed deeply, and he immediately asked someone to call for Jiang Zhe and Xia Enci to come.

On his way, Jiang Zhe encountered Xia Enci, who asked nervously, "Xiaozhe, do you know what’s happening?"

"Not sure, but we’ll find out once we get there," Jiang Zhe replied.

"Oh, okay," Xia Enci followed closely behind Jiang Zhe.

When they arrived at the office, they sensed a tense atmosphere.

Tan Feifei was standing in the middle of the office, with a questioning look.

Professor Tan looked at Jiang Zhe and asked, "Tan Feifei says you highlighted the key points for this exam in Xia Enci’s textbook. Did you do that?"

Tan Feifei showed the photos to Jiang Zhe.

Jiang Zhe glanced at her, making Tan Feifei feel uncomfortable.

Only then did Jiang Zhe take a look and said, "Yes, it was me who did it."

"How come it exactly matches the questions on the exam paper?" Professor Tan inquired.

"I helped Xia Enci guess the questions. Is that a problem?" Jiang Zhe asked.

Tan Feifei had originally thought that it was Professor Tan who leaked the questions to Jiang Zhe, but from the current situation, it didn’t seem to be the case; there must be someone else.

Nobody expected Jiang Zhe to claim he had guessed the questions.

How could she guess so accurately?

Professor Tan said, "It’s fine to guess the questions, but your guess was a little too accurate... It’s normal for other students to have doubts. Jiang Zhe, I hope you can tell me the truth."

"You don’t trust me?" Jiang Zhe countered.

"Jiang Zhe, I need to give the other students an explanation," Professor Tan said earnestly and kindly.

To her, there was undoubtedly a lot of favoritism.

Jiang Zhe turned to Xia Enci and asked, "Did you bring your textbook?"

"Yes, right here," Xia Enci quickly pulled the textbook out of her bag.

"Show them the other highlights I made at the back," Jiang Zhe directed.

In front of the professors, Xia Enci flipped through the book, revealing that other sections were highlighted as well, all for the upcoming tests.

"This..." the professors were surprised.

Tan Feifei said, "You even know the questions for the next exams?"

But Professor Tan gently addressed Jiang Zhe, "Take your time and explain to us."

"During the summer break, I worked through nearly ten years of exercises from freshmen year through to the third year of postgraduate studies at Traditional Chinese Medicine University. I think I got a feel for the professors’ approach and style of setting questions, so I guessed some questions for my friend," Jiang Zhe explained.
