Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl
Chapter 111 - 111 111 She Doesnt Deserve It

Chapter 111: Chapter 111 She Doesn’t Deserve It! Chapter 111: Chapter 111 She Doesn’t Deserve It! The manager immediately responded, “Yes!”

It was only then that Qin Jingchen, holding the dessert, walked outside.

Jiang Zhe had just gotten into the car when Qin Jingchen came over.

She glanced in the direction of the hotel, “That was fast?”

“It wasn’t a big deal.” Qin Jingchen found a spot to place the desserts, “Was your shopping trip a success?”

“Quite successful. I’ve heard this store is limited edition. Xiao Meng might come ten times and only succeed once, but today I managed to get everything I wanted.”

Qin Jingchen smiled, started the car, “That’s good.”

It seemed that the manager had indeed handled the situation well.

Tang Jianxi had sent the manager on his way and stopped worrying about what was happening downstairs.

Her friends gathered around her, discussing where she had gotten her nails done.

It was a trivial matter and hadn’t weighed too heavily on her mind.

However, Tang Jianxi grew agitated when the manager didn’t return to update her after a while.

The girl with the short hair noticed her mood and chimed in, “What’s taking the manager so long? He’s been gone for ages and hasn’t come back yet?”

It was only then that Tang Jianxi glanced downstairs.

But at that moment, the lobby was occasionally crossed by passersby, with no sign of Jiang Zhe.

The woman in the red dress spoke up, “Perhaps the manager simply drove her away and is now busy with other matters. Jiang Zhe is just a high school student. What can she do if she’s expelled from here?”

“Exactly. The manager of the Qin Family’s seven-star hotel should have no trouble dealing with a girl. Tang Jianxi, don’t overthink it. Maybe right now Jiang Zhe is hiding in some corner, silently weeping.”

At this suggestion, laughter broke out amongst them, “She really overestimates herself, daring to get engaged to Mr. Qin.”

“Tsk, maybe the manager was too harsh, and the poor girl couldn’t take it—what if something happened to her?”

The more they talked, the more amused they became, treating Jiang Zhe as a joke.

Tang Jianxi felt a sense of pleasure and, picking up her coffee, took a leisurely sip without joining in the conversation.

While everyone was chatting animatedly, the manager came upstairs.

Several security guards followed behind him.

“Manager, we sent you to handle a situation. Why did it take so long?” The girl with short hair complained on behalf of Tang Jianxi, “Is it taken care of?”

“Miss Tang, ladies, our establishment has now revoked your membership. Please leave immediately.”

There were more than a dozen people present, and aside from Tang Jianxi, there were three or four others who held memberships at this establishment.

The criteria for membership included a hefty sum of money, among other standards, so obtaining membership was no easy feat.

Some had secured their memberships through Tang Jianxi’s referral.

Hearing the manager’s words, everyone was in disbelief, “What? What do you mean?”

“I don’t mean anything else,” the manager spoke politely to Tang Jianxi, “Miss Tang, I’m sorry, but your membership has been canceled. Our establishment does not permit non-members to enter and consume, as you know. So, please leave immediately.”

Although he was polite, his resolve was firm.

No exceptions could be made; none of the people there could stay.

Others were stunned for a moment, then began to speak up in a babble of confusion, “What’s actually going on here?”

“Tang Jianxi is a member of the Tang Family! Why can’t she have the membership to this establishment?”

Everyone turned to Tang Jianxi, whose impeccably made-up face had turned deathly pale.

She bit her red lips fiercely, marring the lipstick with teeth marks, “Why?”

The manager did not answer her question. His silence indicated that she was not worthy!

Not even worthy of knowing the reason!

Tang Jianxi’s freshly done nails dug into her palm with such force that they broke halfway through.

She couldn’t understand why this was happening!

Was it Jiang Zhe?

Impossible! Even if Jiang Zhe was the fiancee approved by Qin Jingchen, she had no power to interfere in Qin Family affairs, let alone the fact that this store had long become Qin Feng’s dowry, half of which belonged to the Tang Family!

Then, who could possibly have such power?

Tang Jianxi couldn’t figure it out, and she didn’t want to think about the result anymore!

The group was escorted out of the hotel by the security guards who seemed harmless but were very firm in their attitude.

Dressed in thin, flashy outfits, the intention was to have breakfast at the hotel, then go shopping at a nearby mall, followed by afternoon tea, and post pictures on social media to flaunt a day in the life of the rich and beautiful.

However, having their hotel membership canceled, and consequently losing their VIP status at the adjacent mall, no one was interested in continuing the day.

It was as if they had lost most of their privileges in Jincheng!

No one dared to look directly at Tang Jianxi’s face at this moment; the ominous feeling of an impending storm heavily weighed down on everyone’s minds.

The woman in the red dress suggested in a low voice, “Jianxi, why don’t you call Miss Qin? You two have always had a good relationship; the hotel must have made a mistake!”

“Forget it, let’s go back!”

How could Tang Jianxi possibly call Qin Feng!

Last time, she had switched the medication Jiang Zhe gave her with a drug from the research institute that had not yet passed the final experiment and used it on Qin Feng. Even though it didn’t lead to any adverse consequences, Qin Feng had never contacted her since then, nor had she responded to any of Tang Jianxi’s attempts to reach out.

A vague sense of fear enveloped her.

Although the others didn’t know what exactly had happened between Tang Jianxi and Qin Feng, the current situation made them feel that something was amiss.

Jiang Zhe sat in the car, not entirely insensitive to what was happening with Tang Jianxi.

When she entered the hotel earlier, the manager’s attitude was clearly troublesome towards her.

She didn’t take it to heart, especially after the Black Gold Card solved the problem, she didn’t bother with it anymore.

As for what the manager said to Qin Jingchen afterward, Jiang Zhe could somewhat guess.

She just didn’t bother to speculate or ask.

The takeaway desserts, however, smelled quite nice.

Jiang Zhe was about to take two pieces of gum as if knowing what she was thinking, Qin Jingchen extended a box of desserts to her.

She took it, knowing she had bought plenty and that eating a box wouldn’t affect sharing them once she got back.

“Do you want some?” she asked.

“I’m driving,” Qin Jingchen smiled, glancing at her, “You have them.”

“Hmm,” Jiang Zhe responded and opened the box.

The pastries from this place truly lived up to their reputation. Back when she was with the Jiang Family, the household would have the servants queue up to buy them; of course, Jiang Zhe never got her share.

Jiang Yunxuan would always secretly save some for her, and Xiao Meng would occasionally bring some to her as well.

However, back then, Jiang Zhe didn’t much care for them, finding them too rich for her taste.

Now, though, she had come to enjoy these treats.
