Novel's Extra: I Awakened The Strongest Physique From The Start
Chapter 310 - CHAPTER 310 - Tension in the Council.

Originveil Academy. Student Council Hall.

Far from the Simharian Kingdom, the grand stone walls of the Originveil Academy's student council building stood in dignified silence.

Marble floors gleamed beneath the enchanted lanterns hanging overhead.

Ornate columns held a high ceiling painted with the history of great heroes. This place had stood for centuries as a beacon of power, magic, and governance.

Inside the student council hall—usually a place of order, strategy, and leadership—tension clung to the air like a stormcloud refusing to break.

"Do you even care what's happening outside these walls?!" Theron's voice boomed, shattering the quiet.

Across from him sat Fenna, arms crossed, one leg bouncing over the other as her red eyes narrowed at him.

Her long white ears twitched with barely contained annoyance, and her glossy white hair swayed as she tilted her head in defiance.

"Nope," she said, unbothered. "Not really. And it's not like it concerns me, does it?"

The words landed like a slap.

Gurrak, seated to the right, didn't even flinch. He had already predicted this tone, this fight, and this outcome.

After all, Fenna had changed.

Something about her was different since the glitched incident.

That day, when she was about to die and Alex had saved her, she had changed.

No one could tell for sure what had changed, but it was noticeable.

She had started ignoring many things. It was as if she cared less about others now.

Fenna seemed to care about nothing but herself these days.

Gurrak, who had noticed everything, kept scribbling on his scroll, golden fingers moving with cold precision.

'Same argument. Different day,' he thought, sighing internally.

This was a daily routine now.

Aelora sat beside him, a small figure practically curled into herself, her pale pink hair cascading over her face.

Her pink eyes flitted nervously between the two presidents. Her voice could stop fights and calm storms... but right now, she didn't dare open her mouth, scared that things might escalate.

"I'm serious, Fenna!" Theron slammed a thick fist on the table. The entire room shook. "You skip half our meetings and vanish during inspections, and now, with Alex and Zahara gone, you're still treating this like a joke?"

"Oh no," Fenna said with a mock gasp. "We're all gonna die because I missed another boring seminar about elemental containment protocol."

Theron stood now, tall and imposing—his presence like a silent thundercloud about to erupt. "This isn't just about seminars! You've been ignoring your role as the president! We can't afford this right now—especially with tensions rising, glitch threats increasing, and students doubting our power!"

Fenna stood as well. She wasn't nearly as tall as Theron, but her presence was sharp like a knife with no handle. "Oh, so now you suddenly care about students' opinions? Thought you didn't give a damn about those."

Gurrak's golden eyes flicked up for the briefest of moments.

He studied them both—not as friends or allies—but as variables. Both of them were like clashing forces, burning too hot.

This wasn't a strategy. This was unchained emotion.

He couldn't really blame anyone, though. Both of them were right from their point of view.

Aelora's hands gripped her dress beneath the table as she stared at everything going on.

She hated this. Hated the yelling, the edge in Theron's usually calm voice, and the flat coldness in Fenna's once-playful tone.

She wished she could say something. Anything.

But she knew she would cry if she tried.

Suddenly, Theron spoke again, his voice filled with annoyance.

"You're reckless. Unfocused. Unfit—!" Theron's words cut sharper than he intended.

Fenna's expression didn't change. But her eyes—her vibrant red eyes—dulled for just a second.

"I see," she said, her voice suddenly quiet. "So that's what you really think."

Theron's fists clenched as he realized he had said more than he should. "Fenna, I didn't—"

"No. You said what you meant. It's fine." She turned, her footsteps echoing as she marched toward the door. "You probably want to talk to my family. Go ahead. Maybe they'll care more than I do."

With those words, she was gone.

The heavy doors slammed shut behind her.

Silence reigned in her wake.

Theron stood there, the adrenaline draining from his body like sand from a broken hourglass.

He sat back down slowly, exhaling through his nose.

Aelora looked like she might cry. She opened her mouth to say something but closed it again and looked down.

Only Gurrak remained unchanged. He dipped his quill, finished the last column of numbers, and leaned back with a soft grunt.

"Well," he muttered, breaking the silence, "that went worse than expected."

Theron didn't respond. He looked... tired.

Aelora finally whispered, "She… she didn't mean it like that. She... she hides when she's hurt."

Gurrak didn't look at her, but he gave a faint nod. "I know."

The problem was that Theron, who also knew this, couldn't understand why she was so hurt.

He loved her, and now he wanted to be with her, so what was wrong with it?

Didn't she like him as well?

If Alex were single, then he could've understood, but he wasn't. That guy already had Zahara, so shouldn't Fenna move on? Shouldn't she try to look at him now?

"Hah..." She sighed again, wondering what he could do to make things better.

But then, something changed.

"Should I help you?"

Theron heard a voice, causing his body to tense.

He glanced at the others, frowning as he saw no reaction from them.

'Am I hearing things?' He wondered, but to his surprise, the voice was heard again.

"No, you aren't hearing things. I am here, but only you can hear me."

Theron's body stiffened as he tried to understand what was happening, trying not to show anything on the outside.

Unfortunately for him, Gurrak's sharp eyes caught every shift in his movement.

'Looks like it has started,' he concluded, a glint passing through his eyes.

Without wasting time, he stood up, glancing at Aelora and nodding at her.

Seeing him nod, Aelora's expression changed.

For the first time, there was doubt in her eyes as she followed Gurrak out of the hall.

Surprisingly, Theron didn't even look at them, confirming Gurrak's guess.

His face, always unreadable, held something close to weariness now as he muttered, "I think it's time I inform Alex."

Without glancing back at Theron, he walked forward, staring at the door Fenna had stormed through. "He needs to step in now."

And with that, the golden goblin and the half-spirit walked out of the room, leaving behind Theron, who was busy understanding the voice in his head.

...............................

Meanwhile, Alex, along with his women, was now wandering around the kingdom to 'convince' all those people who opposed Zahara to support her.

"It isn't as easy as you think it is."

Reganath, Kael, and Bahir had all said the same thing, as they had tried to do the same thing before.

They knew how stuck up those opposers were, and although the strongest of them, Duke Thornmere, was now supporting Zahara, the remaining would still not give in.

Alex, however, had smiled at their words.

"I can convince anyone," he had said, and right now, as he sat before Viscount Velberg, it could be seen how credible his words were.

"Do you still think Zahara isn't worthy of ruling this country?" He asked with a smile, staring at Viscount Velberg, sweating from all of his pores while breathing heavily.

He was a man with more weight than his entire family was supposed to have.

Maybe that was why he didn't have a family. He probably didn't have enough food to feed others.

"N-No. Princess Zahara is the one most suited for the throne!" Velberg replied in a single breath, too scared to think of anything else.

"Princess?" Alex muttered, turning to Zahara before he glanced at Lilia. "Don't you think queen suits Zahara's name better?"

His question made Lilia rub her chin before she nodded. "It does have a nice ring to it."

Hearing those words, a wide smile appears on Alex's face while Zahara shakes her head.

She couldn't believe how easy it was for Alex to tame this dog who didn't listen to anything but money.

'He sure has a convenient ability,' he thought, recalling how a question had turned the guy into their slave.

All Alex had done was beat the guy up into a bloody pulp and ask if he was willing to be his slave.

Once cornered, the ball-like guy quickly agreed, thinking of having his revenge later, only to squeal like a pig the next second.

How could Velberg have known of Alex's power?

The poor guy had fallen for it, and now, with nothing else to do, he could only smile nervously, trying not to get on Alex's bad side, as he knew that his life was now in that monster's control.

"What do you think, Viscount Velberg?" Alex's sharp blue eyes turned toward the viscount, sending a shiver down his spine as he quickly nodded.

"Y-Yes! Yes! Queen Zahara sounds good. Only a title like Queen suits someone as great as Princess—Queen Zahara!"

Looking at the smile that looked worse than crying, Alex nodded, deciding to move on to the next noble, as this was just the start.

Only when Zahara had the majority of the nobles' support could she sit on the throne.

Of course, Alex would make it so that she had everyone's support, as he didn't want to risk a coup by leaving even one opposer of Zahara.

Above all, he needed Zahara to become the queen if he wanted to aim for the next objective he had in this kingdom.

Zahara needed to be the queen for her to obtain her cheat ability.
