Chapter 240: Chapter 152: Elder, Don’t Rush_2

The location of the Golden Rhinoceros was flat and spacious, all the trees had been cleared, making it a vast grassland, dotted with buildings.

Such an open area provided no opportunity for a sneak attack. In fact, Qin Ming didn’t intend to make a covert move -- he came here to intimidate the demons in the surrounding territories, planning to kill the Golden Demon King outright!

From a distance, he saw a group of more than twenty ragged men and women washing the backs of some old rhinos and teaching some Little Demons to read.

"Ah..." A scream rang out as an old man, who was trimming the hoofs of a sturdy White Rhinoceros, somehow angered it and got kicked away. Blood spewed from his mouth ceaselessly. With at least four ribs broken, he lay there in tremendous pain, unable to move.

"Get up, or die," the White Rhinoceros ordered.

It had already spotted Qin Ming on the horizon and wasn’t concerned – this was a performance for him and Zhuo Ya to see.

With a loud explosion, the ground burst open in the distance as Qin Ming accelerated forward, his speed causing the White Rhinoceros’ pupils to constrict, sensing something wrong but too late to evade.

Qin Ming’s body was flowing with the essence of grass and trees, and a verdant long sword appeared in his hand. The entire grassland seemed to resonate with him, with all the grass shaking rustlingly, lifting him up on a swell of Green Mist as he came forward.

With a splat and blood splashing everywhere, Qin Ming used the Yimu Sword to split the White Rhinoceros in two, rushing through the bifurcated carcass without breaking stride, and then decapitated another Elder Rhinoceros at the Outer Saint Level.

He didn’t utter a word, just started a massacre in this territory.

In an instant, eighteen bodies of Rhino Demons, Dog Demons, and others lay on the grassland, blood pooling everywhere, shocking all the demons and the enslaved humans.

Behind, Cao Wuji was stunned by the scene: Was this brother really going wild? Charging in like that?

A deep and suppressed roar came from the buildings, followed by surging Golden Light. A huge rhinoceros appeared, its heavy footsteps causing tremors, Demon Energy rolling off it.

Its body was gold, even larger than a giant elephant, resembling a small hill; each step shaking the grassland, with flames burning fiercely around it.

It charged with earth-shattering vigor, targeting the young Human up ahead.

Qin Ming didn’t hesitate; his Yimu Sword burst with blinding green light. The entire grassland seemed to undulate with him, a thick green fog rising as he accelerated towards the charging giant demon.

"Brother, don’t be reckless! You must outmaneuver it to win!" Cao Wuji shouted from behind, afraid that Qin Ming would be killed in a direct confrontation.

Qin Ming swung the increasingly large Yimu Sword, and with a bang, it struck the giant rhinoceros on the head.

The Golden Rhinoceros howled, utterly enraged, a gash appearing on its head, with fresh blood drenching half of its bovine face.

"Damaged it? Is he that strong?" Cao Wuji was deeply shaken, Qin Ming’s Heavenly Light Force was outrageous!

Zhuo Ya, however, remained calm, having already witnessed Qin Ming’s strength.

Qin Ming’s face was stern, having only managed a single cut on the rhino’s head. The demon’s defensive power was indeed astounding.

Since he was there to intimidate the nearby demon hordes, he naturally needed to demonstrate his real strength. In a flash, he clenched his fists and began to clash fiercely with the Great Demon.

The Golden Rhinoceros, surrounded by Demon Energy and covered in flames, especially the light from its horns, shot out like thunder, congealing into tangible beams that could quickly burn through the Body of an Outer Saint, striking again and again.

It moved with unexpected agility, swiftly maneuvering its massive body to try and pierce through Qin Ming with its horns.

In an instant, loud noises echoed across the territory.

The Golden Rhinoceros rampaged, Demon Fire ravaged the grassland, and even when encountering tall buildings in its path, it charged right through, leaving behind ruins.

Qin Ming gave it his all to withstand the encounter with the raging Golden Rhinoceros, shining with Light as if standing in a Pure Land, his fists like Golden Crows illuminating in all directions, flying and striking, making the giant demon roar and shake repeatedly.

He continued to strike with the strongest Heavenly Light Force, inwardly marveling at how difficult it was to deal with this thick-skinned old monster – how many punches had he thrown already?

No wonder Cao Wuji was seriously injured and nearly died here.

At this moment, the Golden Rhinoceros trembled, feeling as if all its internal organs were injured, and even its golden hide showed cracks. It could no longer hold on.

Following Qin Ming’s release of the most powerful Heavenly Light Force, the gigantic rhino shuddered, letting out a roar. Its whole body’s radiance concentrated towards its longest horn, as if a golden flying sword slashed through the Void, leveling the nearby buildings.

Qin Ming sidestepped swiftly, avoiding the attack with ease.

That was a golden fire so intense it seemed capable of slicing through all enemies on all sides.

The Golden Rhinoceros went berserk, sweeping wildly.

Qin Ming noted its weakened state and tried using Heavenly Light Force to come in contact with it, finding that he could block that kind of fire light.

Thereupon, he faced the Demon head-on and with a hard clash, the sound of cracking echoed as the two horns of the Golden Rhinoceros were broken one after another and fell to the ground.

It roared in anguish, and Qin Ming’s punches hit all over its body, time and again, until with a loud bang, it burst apart.

Qin Ming quickly approached and picked up a big heart that was faintly tinged with Green Mist; it truly was from a Divine being.

All the Demons were petrified, the Golden Old Monster actually got beaten into an explosion!

A group of enslaved Humans began to regain the glint in their dull eyes and soon erupted in cheers.

Zhuo Ya and Cao Wuji began to slay Demons, causing Demon blood to flow everywhere on the grassland.

"This Rhino Horn material is of excellent quality, golden and luminous, crystal clear. It would make a fine gift as a cup, so let’s split it among the three of us," said Qin Ming as he cut a large portion of the Rhino Horn, planning to give it to Meng Xinghai, Li Qingyun, and others. Coming to the edge of the world, how could he not bring some local specialties back?

Here, it was a happy ending for all.

However, Elder Zhou Tao from the Six Imperial Ancestor Court was clouded with worry, feeling his temples throbbing—another Miracle Medicine lost? It was almost completely harvested!

When Qin Ming heard that the assessment would conclude in "perfection" after today, he immediately felt a sense of urgency as if time was against him, so he raced non-stop to the next location.

Upon hearing this, Zhou Tao felt as if he had been pumped full of chicken blood, rushing off crazily towards other realms, feeling as if the sky was about to fall—all was coming to an end, and this youth was not only not stopping but accelerating!

Qin Ming was disappointed, for he had gone to help the "neighbors" he recognized at the Six Imperial Ancestor Court, Zhou Lei, and Huang Cheng, with their troubles, yet he did not encounter any creatures of strange blood.

Both of them were thankful, and under their complex gazes, he did not linger for a moment longer and dashed to the next location.

Soon enough, Qin Ming figured it out; there were Divine creatures specially arranged in the realms of the mutants, while the Demons in other places were very ordinary.

Qin Ming immediately inquired about Cui Chongxuan’s whereabouts and didn’t stop for a moment, cutting through everything on his way.

When Cui Chongxuan saw Qin Ming covered in blood, brimming with murderous intent, his heart sank, and he said, "Brother, I mean you no harm, you..."

"I’m here to help you hunt Demons; tell me where the strongest Old Demon is!" Qin Ming demanded.

"How can time be passing so slowly; isn’t it over yet?" Zhou Tao, harassed as if burdened like an ox, felt panicked because that formidable youth had found the correct realm and was already on his way there.

"Elder Zhou, as a venerable senior, you must remain calm; don’t be anxious," the White Peacock comforted.

Zhou Tao, nearly driven to a frenzy, almost tumbled from the back of the Raptor, exclaiming, "How can I not be anxious? Even if there are reasons for this and the situation is special, several Miracle Medicines have been harvested. How can I not apologize to those old fellows? This matter is too ’rough’; I... my loss is huge!"

Eventually, under the shocked and complex gaze of Cui Chongxuan, Qin Ming tossed him a sable carcass without a heart and left without looking back.

Elder Zhou Tao felt dizzy, wondering if there would be any wild Miracle Medicines left in this realm?!

"Finally, it’s over; have all people been brought back?" Zhou Tao felt a sense of powerlessness, but he still had to show a friendly and affable smile to meet that group of youngsters.

Qin Ming felt extremely delighted in his heart; this journey had been a great harvest!
