Chapter 31: Training Montage? by Harem-Fan

     The training center Sirzechs had prepared for us, according to Grayfia, was the size of a small town!

     Perhaps with Rating Games in mind. (This is a stadium, and a future site of the once LN Azazel Cup.)

     Well the main dome is the size of a professional football stadium.

     It was perfect for me.

     In Kuoh I was restricted to far removed places to practice my tandem-fighting with Roshi.

     So my combat gear I had the Gremory's make for me consists of... a Longbow that can be used to block heavy blades! There are lots of Knights out there after all.

     A magical battle suit, designed like the one Neo used in the Matrix.

     This was chosen for me, to let me have a respectable look while not fighting.

     So it doesn't scream... hey let's fight!

     My Earth zero side was a martial artist by nature, though in this world I'm an all-rounder technique type.

     Not so much as the power type, like Rias.

     The final notable piece of gear I had made was a special pair of belt-pouches.

     They hold a variety of Underworld plant-life, including many that are heavy on the spikes, aggressiveness, and poison!

     In an open-battlefield, Roshi and I use the mount-style... Basically I stand on his shell or head, and support.

     I will fire Light Arrows, cast spells to support, like barriers, healing, and illusion magic!

     If I can't fight with Roshi, then I use one of 3 main methods...

     First is to snipe from long or medium range.

     The second form I use and prefer, is to infuse my hands and feet with Holy and Light type magic, and use my martial arts style I blended on Earth zero.

     To best visualize my stance when I use it in a fight, think of Ryu and Ken from the classic, Street Fighter arcade game.

     It is a Karate style that protects the vitals. 

     My final method of battle is my Earth and Plant Mastery.

     This is more of a mid-range control type, great for snares and sneak attacks.

     Although I have learned to use Illusion Magic, I have decided to keep this as a trump-card in the future.

     If the enemy knows everything you can do, they can control you.

     Now let's talk about combos and finishers!

     The first move I have devised to deal with the Vanishing Dragon if I need to is... Entomb his ass 100 yards underground with earth control. (Unreliable Narrator Tag here... Vali can't be stopped with this simple method, nope.)

     When someone is buried alive and not allowed to even move a pinky, under all that earth.

     It is an utter deathtrap! (This is true for most High-Class and below though.)

     Plus that bastard Vali won't be able to divide my Sacred Gear's abilities, thanks to Big G.

     Vanishing Dragon is a one-trick-pony for me!

     See what I meant about hiding your cards?

     So another maneuver I have, but isn't Peerage friendly, is what I call Flash Fighting.

     I use my Light Magic to create a strobe-light from my eyes to disorient my foe.

     I personally am immune to Light based attacks, so imagine fighting me in a strobe effect.

     Also just like Freed's flash-gang buttons, I can create a larger flash-bomb effect, like DBZ [Solar Flare], such a good dick-move!

     The spell is called, [Sunburst]!

     My new combo with Roshi is to jump on his head, and cast my Heaven spell to create holy water on his water-breath when he fires it.

     I don't like this move if I have Devil ally's though.

     Holy-water everywhere isn't good for my Peerage, right?

     But this is my finisher for chicken, he won't die... Riser is an asshole, but his Light Tempering is pretty good.

     The only reason Issei fucked him up in the anime, was he used his Boosted Gear to boost the holy water!

     I can do much more than this, but it would be a dizzying array of things to keep track of.

     In a real fight... Simple is better!

     Now the last and most important thing to talk about is my flight capability....

     When I was in the Dream Realm, the reason I caught [Sorrow] off guard was, I used a combination of [Wingless Flight] and my [Devil Wings]!

     I can use both separately, and in tandem.

     Yes, there is a downside to this and it is I burn twice the Stamina of using one alone.

     Wingless flight, just like superhero flight, is resisting gravity!

     Devil flight should be self explanatory, flap your wings and fly.

     And no... Devil wings aren't the ones from the anime... We have legit giant bat wings, and they have to flap!

     So why is my combo flight broken?

     Easy... Can you compare a bat's flight with a fucking hummingbird?

     That's right, I can fly and make impossible turns and accelerations most others just can't.

     Knights are fast, but that is only on the ground.... So I will fly and snipe them!

     Yes, I'm not an honorable fighter, I will cheat and trick to win!

     It's who is left standing at the end for me!

     Damn, now that I have taken my daily info-dump, let me see what is currently happening...

     Sirzechs, Zeoticus, Venelana, Millicas, Rias' Peerage, and Grayfia are in a booth, watching Matsuda...

     Mat is currently promoted to Queen, and takes on 4 High-Class-low Devil trainers, with high Light Tempering to spar with him and Roshi.

     Why is Matsuda getting all this attention now, after being ignored when he first came?

     Well the fact that Grayfia straight up abducted and married him out of all Devils in the Underworld, was their first warning.

     The fact they found out he used up all 8 of Rias's Pawn pieces.

     And the fact the 4 High Class Devils are currently running for there fucking lives right now!

     Sirzechs is laughing his ass off at the absurdity of what is going on.

     "Hahaha, Matsuda is an Angel in Devils clothing. Every time they try to run they get snared in the ground. When they try to fly he calls down Holy Lightning, and he uses so many moves in random intervals, you can't get into a groove!"

"I don't think a single Light arrow has missed his target yet? He said it was his Sacred Gear that let him predict movements of his target! He is just full of tricks."

"His Familiar is a nice battle platform for him as well. It has lots of ranged fighting, but if you move in to hit it in melee, it just throws up barriers. At this point Matsuda is just bullying them."

"However, Matsuda's only current weakness is, lack of staying power, his stamina and endurance should be his top priority!"

     Millicas looks with stars in his eyes and says...

     "Big Brother, I think he fights like a superhero! He is like... voom then pew pew! And wow, he made a thorn-forest! Ouch, That must hurt!"

     The little kid is jumping around having a fun time.

     Grayfia says wistfully...

     "What you see here, is nothing to what he can do later..."

     She didn't elaborate, but the wiser Devils took note.

     Rias almost looked like a proud parent, when she puffed out her chest, like she made him and personally trained him.

     Akeno would see the use of Holy Lightning, and have complex emotions while watching.

     Kiba for the first time, has acknowledgment in his eyes.

     Koneko was, well eating chocolate, and pondering Matsuda's close quarters, and is thinking of having a spar against him... But he just always blushes and runs from her when she asks.

     Venelana asks Rias...

     "So your Peerage will head back to the Human world, the morning after tomorrow, right?"

     Her gaze on the field, was still held on her Daughter's Pawn...

     Rias, still proud, says to Venelana...

     "Yes Mother, I need to pick up my order of 'books' for school... And we need to make sure nothing big is happening in the territory."

     During this part of the talk down in the arena...

     Matsuda reached his limit, and fell to his Sage Turtle's back.

     Whoosh~! Then Grayfia flew down to her Husband quickly, to avoid any training accidents.

     But the other 4 Devils just fell on their asses, and thanked their lucky stars they no longer had to be a target dummy for this light using freak!

     Zeoticus said...

     "I'm very impressed to see Matsuda's development. He is still new to the supernatural world, and he will be a strong center to your team, Rias. I think he is definitely going to be compared to the Red Dragon Emperor at a minimum... Congratulations Rias!"

     A few hours later Matsuda woke up...

     Poke~Poke! Grayfia poked my cheek and said to me...

     "I know you're awake now, Mat! Stop pretending, fufu."

     Grayfia lovingly teased me, while I found myself naked again.

     I asked curiously...

     "How did you know I was awake?"

     Poke! Grayfia then pokes a little friend, who is currently looking for a nice warm place to take a nap!

     I just defend my manhood's dignity.

     "That's totally your fault, for being the sexiest woman, haha!"

     She strokes my shaved head and she just lay there on my chest relaxing.

     Then she says in strict Wife mode...

     "Make sure to give a circle everyday, and I will try to get to the Human world for any reason, so wait for me. Take extra good care and don't go around trying to end things with a life for a life... The end of that dream watching you die with a smile was too heartbreaking, so promise!"

     While she was laying in my arms, I caressed her nice bottom, and said.

     "I promise to you Grayfia... That I shall never die, and I will only think of you before bed, when I wake, and during the day! You still have to give me a child as well, so I can't go anywhere!"

     I can never give this life up!

     My wives, my kids, I plan to be here till old age and regret nothing!

     I pushed Grayfia to her back, and as I entered her heart, I said seriously...

     "Now I need you to recharge my Staying Alive Batteries... I love you, Grayfia... Mwah~!"

     So after spending the little time left with my new Wife, it was time to leave the Underworld...

     Good things must always come to an end!

     So yup, I'm no idiot and after the meeting with Riser, the first thing I did was call Tsubaki to explain the prepared story to her that Grayfia came up with.

     But all she wanted to know is if I love Grayfia, and if I love her?

     So of course without hesitation I told her I loved her, and wanted to see her as soon as I got back to Kuoh Town.

     She had recovered from the shock of Grayfia, a well known Queen, and told me to come straight to see her!

     Kala also got the call...

     Well, I don't know who is first in the girlfriend, wife, and lover order anymore in the relationship order, as I met Grayfia over 500 years ago?

     So I won't think about it now! 

     Kala made fun of me and called me an idiot when I described everything, especially my oops thinking that Tsubaki was the destined Devil.

     Yup... I'm an idiot after-all, but I won't change my decision.

     Tsubaki is a wonderful woman... Plus my Mom absolutely loves her!

     Gremory Train Station... (Platform 9¾)

     Well, we're saying our goodbyes and boarding the train back to the Human world..

     I have to thank my lucky-stars for everything I have now... Who says becoming a Reincarnated Devil is bad?

     It's great if you have the right master!

     Finally, Grayfia and I are saying our personal goodbyes, and it has been an absolute dream come true.

     I never want to wake up.

     It is funny in the Highschool D×D anime, I thought it was strange how Grayfia acted with Sirzechs... But she does the same damn thing to me now!

     When she is in her maid-mode. I can only call her Grayfia, and she gives damn pinches if you break her rule!

     When I asked why she is so strict with me, she said...

     "Because someone wanted me to be the best maid ever!"

     So hot!
