Humans were simply torn apart by sharp claws and pierced through by pointed stingers.

But the human charge did not falter; they had nowhere to retreat; their loved ones and compatriots were right behind them! They would use their flesh and blood to create one final chance for that severely wounded Spiritual Ability User!

But they were not fighting alone!

Suddenly, a Cavalry appeared from the rear of the Insect Swarm.

The Iron-clad Cavalry seemed out of place on this battlefield, but he brought a gleam of hope to the anxious eyes of the Major.

The Cavalry, in bloodstained black-colored Lamellar Armor, rode a majestic yet scarred warhorse, blood flowing unceasingly from the three-pointed two-edged spear in his hand.

Clearly, he was a mighty soldier who had fought his way out from amidst the swarm!

"Night General! You’re still alive!" The severely wounded Spiritual Ability User laughed, "Leave this creature to you!"

"Then leave it to me!"

It was Li Yelai who had arrived!

Li Yelai’s warhorse neighed as it charged toward the Hunting Insect, crushing numerous insects beneath its hooves!

In such a narrow space, the Hunting Insect had no room to dodge or maneuver.

The long spear thrust straight towards the Hunting Insect’s chest. As its four arms swung to block the spear, Li Yelai grabbed its head.

No matter how the Hunting Insect struggled or tore, it could not inflict the slightest injury on Li Yelai.

Li Yelai rode up to the Major, "Are there any other teams?"

"All the other teams broke through from other exits; their current situation is unknown," the Major responded quickly. Nobody knew whether the other breakout teams were safe, whether they had encountered reinforcements, or the Insect Swarm.

"I understand, you go first, I’ll cover the rear." Li Yelai positioned his horse across the back of the group, protecting the survivors as they retreated.

Many colleagues and comrades had their bodies buried beneath these ruins; now, it was impossible for Li Yelai to take them away.

But at least... he could protect those survivors who were still alive.

Li Yelai alone blocked the secondary passage with his horse.

As the Insect Swarm surged forward, Li Yelai sneered, "This way is closed!"

Li Yelai wielded his long spear, activating the capabilities of his Spiritual Ability Equipment.

A strong current gathered with each swing of his spear, creating a vortex with every movement.

Li Yelai continued to protect the progression of the team but suddenly felt a sense of danger.

His heart sank and he immediately steered the Thunder Stepping Dragon Colt toward the front of the group, where he saw a scene that made his blood curdle.

A massive shadow emerged from the ruins.

It was a gigantic War Worm, over ten meters in size, with huge arms swinging rapidly, smashing dozens of people into pulp.

The victims hadn’t even realized who had killed them.

Even in their final moments, their faces still bore the joy of a narrow escape.

In an instant, screams erupted.

And just as the War Worm prepared to raise its massive arms again,

"Thunder!" a roar thundered through the streets.

In the blink of an eye, in the half-air, it was as if countless Heavy Cavalry charged!

They smashed down upon its gruesome face!

The force of the impact flipped the War Worm over and slammed it heavily into a nearby building.

That was Li Yelai’s Shadow Army, executing the "Thunder" of the Wind Forest Fire Mountain military strategy – movement swift like lightning!

As the Shadow Army’s numbers grew, the force of the charge was fearsome, actually managing to knock away the heavy War Worm.
