Naruto: I Can Upgrade My Techniques Infinitely
Chapter 139: Rasengan Specializing in the Nether Regions

Chapter 139: Rasengan Specializing in the Nether Regions

Even though Nara Kazuki had already made up his mind, he still glanced at the third option:

[Rasengan: Dual Projection — Allows your Rasengan to create an illusionary double, misleading the enemy’s line of sight.]

Kazuki curled his lip. This one was clearly the filler choice—basic, unimpressive. He instantly picked the second option.

"Guaranteed Monkey Steals the Peach... so what if I..." Kazuki looked up at the sky, a bold idea striking him. If I set the Rasengan’s target as Kaguya Ōtsutsuki... would I end up teleporting to the moon and hitting her with the ultimate low blow?

It was possible.

Kazuki’s heart started to race with anticipation. But it seemed too good to be true. If the ability were that broken, it wouldn’t have been sitting here waiting to be picked.

Still, the upgrade was concept-level, which meant it wasn’t ordinary at all. Kazuki decided he had to test it.

So he headed to the wilderness training field. It was quiet. Kakashi wasn’t around today, but that wasn’t unusual. He had his own business—he wasn’t going to be supervising here every day.

"Take the balls!!" Kazuki shouted, and a Rasengan bloomed in his hand. He launched forward, targeting—

"..."

Kazuki wiped blood splatter from his face, completely expressionless.

He had just tested what would happen if he didn’t assign a specific target. The Rasengan had autonomously chosen a random living creature nearby.

Which turned out to be a stray dog.

Kazuki had charged under its belly and detonated the Rasengan right on target. There was no resisting an attack like that—the poor thing exploded on the spot.

Now he was covered in blood.

"Yeah... definitely that kind of move, but the problem is..." Kazuki scratched his head. It was Monkey Steals the Peach, but there were still too many variables to test. It gave him a bit of a headache.

Maybe...

He thought of Kakashi for a moment, then instantly rejected the idea.

No way. Using this on Kakashi would be outright cruel. The entire Hatake Clan’s future rested on his shoulders. If Kazuki actually landed that hit, Kakashi might as well rename himself Kakashi-hime.

No, better to test it on enemies.

"You were practicing Rasengan just now?" a familiar voice called out. Namikaze Minato walked into view, carrying a basket of—

Wild greens?

Kazuki blinked. So the Fourth Hokage was really this chill?

"Yeah, Minato-nii, I’ve been training my Rasengan," Kazuki nodded, watching him closely. Should he try it on him? But no... Minato was married to Kushina. If he accidentally injured him, Kushina would end him.

"Haha, not bad. Let me see how far you’ve come," Minato said, visibly interested. He set down his basket and rolled his neck.

"...Are you sure about this?" Kazuki hesitated. If he actually landed the Rasengan, Minato might be joining Kushina at the women’s bath.

But Minato was full of confidence. Then again, he remembered some of Kazuki’s more infamous jutsu performances and faltered slightly. Still, with Hiraishin no Jutsu at his disposal, Minato figured he had nothing to worry about.

"Go ahead and use Rasengan on me, Kazuki. I want to see your progress."

Kazuki: "Be careful, Lord Fourth..."

He activated the Rasengan.

Minato’s eyes stayed sharp as he focused. The moment the chakra sphere formed in Kazuki’s hand—Kazuki vanished. A primal danger shot up from below.

Minato instinctively leapt back, body midair, just about to praise Kazuki’s timing—when he saw him coming in fast, Rasengan glowing, targeting—

down there.

This brat—!

He was just trying to offer guidance, and Kazuki had gone straight for the family jewels?!

Minato was stunned by Kazuki’s speed but kept calm. In a flash, he activated Hiraishin, warping to the location of a kunai he’d thrown earlier.

BOOM—the place he’d just vacated erupted with force.

"...Kid, when did your Rasengan turn into that?" Minato scowled. Luckily, he’d sent a shadow clone, or this might’ve ended very badly.

"Cough, well, Lord Fourth, it’s a technique I’m currently developing..." Kazuki rubbed his nose, a bit sheepish. He hadn’t meant for things to go quite like that. He was planning to test it on enemies, but Minato had insisted.

Minato calmed down and studied Kazuki more closely. He hadn’t expected Kazuki to be that fast—fast enough to nearly tag him during a Hiraishin movement. Sure, the kunai hadn’t been thrown far, but still, it was impressive.

"Your Rasengan’s gotten very polished. And this... unorthodox method definitely brings pressure. But Rasengan..." Minato went on to offer Kazuki some genuine advice, while also admitting the fear factor of the low-blow approach. Even he had panicked for a second.

Most jutsu hurt. Rasengan made you rethink your life.

Kazuki noted it all down quickly. These were insights from the Rasengan master—before Naruto spammed the jutsu daily, no one understood it better than Minato. Well, maybe Jiraiya.

"Oh, by the way, those wild greens?" Kazuki finally asked, unable to contain his curiosity.

"Kushina wanted some," Minato replied with a warm smile.
