Chapter 950: Chapter 349 Are You My Master?

The screams did not last long, as a piercing flash of golden light swept across in the blink of an eye.

Milne had lost a pair of black wings and could not balance the raging Golden Rule and the Seven Deadly Sins within him. His solid-as-gold defenses collapsed in an instant, as the golden light cleaved him at the waist, and his lower body turned directly into ash.

Wayne was also in the path of the golden light, the brilliance darting through like lightning—there was no way he could dodge it.

Hexuno’s eyes burst forth with golden radiance, the dancing golden light under her control, disintegrating into Golden Rule Ribbons before touching Wayne.

The energy, compressed to a fine point, suddenly expanded and exploded with a loud bang.

A golden mushroom cloud slowly rose, interwoven with intricate patterns formed by thread-like lines.

These patterns, semi-visible within the golden light, emitted an enchanting yet dangerous glow, coloring everything around, draping all in a layer of dazzling golden gauze.

The mesmerizing view did not last long; as the blinding light tore through the sky, a deafening explosion resounded, resonating between heaven and earth, as if the whole world were trembling.

The soft golden light was replaced by a blackened red hue stained by flames and smoke, rapidly expanding as if a massive beast had awoken from its slumber, insatiably devouring everything around it.

The high-temperature air currents flung flame dragons everywhere, leaving chaos in their wake. The shockwave from the explosion hammered invisibly, lifting the earth and trees within its reach before tearing them to pieces.

The air was thick with the stench of scorching and death.

Wayne, flapping his tattered black six wings and lacking limbs, approached Hexuno, slowly healing as he complained, "Archangel, that was too harsh; you didn’t even spare me."

"You were the one who went there, and besides, I already held back," replied Hexuno, unmoved. If not for Mona’s will acting up, she would have definitely taken the chance to wipe out Wayne as well.

"Indeed, you did hold back."

Wayne, healing considerably, nodded repeatedly, "Hexuno, you are really kind. I knew you said not to, but you actually like me."

Wayne:

Hexuno: (눈益눈)

There was not a single part of her that liked Wayne, and she hoped he would have some sense not to mistake her restraint for indulgence.

In an instant of rage, Hexuno decided to ignore Wayne, her mind troubled by another matter.

Mona taking on her memories voluntarily meant accepting transformation. Typically, this would lead her to gradually morph into Hexuno’s likeness completely.

But it seemed that was not the case. The dual memories remained dominated by Mona, leading Hexuno’s traits to be the ones altered.

Where had it gone wrong?

"Cough, cough..."

A weak coughing sound arose; Hexuno set aside her doubts, tightening her grip on the Oath Sword.

The hot air swirled with dust into a billowing black cloud, revealing Milne with only half his body intact. Charred all over by the intense energy, his handsome face, the remaining pair of white wings, and every fingertip were burned to cinders.

"He’s still not dead?"

Wayne fully understood the power of that strike; he survived only because Hexuno held back at the last moment. Otherwise...

Though he wouldn’t die, only turning into a gas to reconstitute, the newly acquired Black Greatsword would definitely not have survived.

It was a wonder why, given the internal energy explosion and external onslaught, Milne didn’t just self-destruct.

That shouldn’t happen!

As Wayne stared intently, the blackened charred flesh writhed and slowly ballooned into a fleshy orb.

The pale, wrinkled orb crisscrossed with shallow and deep grooves, haphazard and immensely eerie. Dark Black Chains grew from within the flesh, clanking like tentacles in motion.

Behind the orb, a massive pair of white wings unfolded like those of a newborn chick, their feathers still slightly damp.

Hiss!

The flesh orb’s wrinkles moved, opening a pair of golden eyes. Around it, the Golden Rule Ribbons encircled, exuding a holiness that induced fear.

Wayne counted roughly; the eyes were in the hundreds—a true nightmare for anyone with a fear of clusters.

Angel!!

The original angels, not the human-shaped angels beautified in the revised Bible.

Looking regretfully at Milne, Hexuno noted that the angelic form did have some aesthetic appeal. However, the chains representing the Seven Deadly Sins ruined this beauty, lending an evil aspect to the image.

The Seven Deadly Sins, entrenched down to the bone, made Milne’s fall not just about the seduction of the Lord of Envy but his own choice as well.

Hopeless!

Hexuno sentenced Milne to death, immediately executed, while urging Mona to hasten their integration, aiming to revert to their original angelic appearance once completely merged.

Mona felt her current appearance was pretty good, the set of handlebars convenient for Wayne to speed up on the accelerator.

Do you even hear what you’re saying!

Furious, Hexuno’s wings trembled, her teeth clenched, blocking the Cross Stigma at the tip of her tongue.

In extreme anger, her six wings spread, and a golden halo formed behind her, shaping the silhouette of the Eye of Cross Judgment.

Both the Hell Angel and the Archangel unleashed their full power; Wayne, not to be outdone, controlled the Seven Deadly Sins Melody to weave Black Chains, creating a dark spherical silhouette behind him.

The sphere cracked open with vertical fissures, the Great Eyeballs opening slowly, whispering softly outwards.

Regardless of how Wayne altered, whether in Elf Form or Devil Form, it merely added a tenfold beauty filter, but pale with Great Eyeballs was his true form.
