Chapter 944: Chapter 347: The Devil Leader Worries Himself Sick to Protect Lundan from Being Destroyed by Devils_3
Felster looked out at the bustling city and then at the female secretary in his arms. He was happier now, much happier than when he had been the Demon King in Hell, and he looked forward to the future. He did not wish to see this city reduced to ruins by the struggle between angels and devils.
After a moment of thought, an idea came to Felster’s mind and a thread of thought dissipated. He casually started a fire in the storage room of the Magical Department Headquarters.
"The barrier of the Mirror Space is yours, go there and fight, no need to search anymore, I’ll tell you directly the correct process to conquer the Mortal World."
Felster smiled and said, "The first step to conquering the Mortal World is to defeat all the strong. Only by killing them will the common people have no hope to cling to and will pray that the devils will treat them kindly..."
"The second step, show a little kindness, not too much..."
Felster shared his experience on how high-level Demon Kings conquer worlds, which, though an old version, contained universal truths that remained timeless.
"What’s your name?"
"Milne."
"Milne, you possess abilities that rival those of the Lord of Envy. You might be lacking in strength, but you have more than enough to push aside a named and titled devil. Do you know why he won’t let you leave, why he won’t let you have your own territory?"
Felster began his seduction, whispering devilish nothings into Milne’s ear: "It’s simple, because he is envious of your talent!"
"The Envy Demon King is envious of my talent?" Milne looked astonished.
"That’s right, he’s envious of you, he needs you, without you, he is nothing. You’ve been fooled, when you could have been better; there’s no need to serve beneath him, wasting your days in decadence without direction."
Felster’s voice was thunderous as he urged, Wake up, Milne, the Lord of Envy is CPUing you!
The devil’s whispers, or rather, the Great Demon King’s whispers, were exceptionally effective, much more so than Wayne’s nonsense.
On the spot, Milne faced himself, firmly believing that his talent was being suppressed by the Lord of Envy. He was a combination of an angel and a devil and should have been better, deserving of a vast territory in Hell, worthy of conquering the Mortal World, achieving greater than the Heavenly Father!
That, however, was impractical—a fantasy that could be harmful to one’s health.
Felster’s eyelid twitched, feeling he may have pushed too hard, turning a perfectly good child into a dreamer.
Whether being a human or a devil, one should progress step by step toward small goals, not charge directly at a grand target.
Too abstract, too hollow, bound to soar high and crash hard!
Fortunately, the problem wasn’t too severe. Felster didn’t value Milne too heavily; he wasn’t one of his Familiars, so no tears would be shed if he died.
"Milne, after all this, you should know what you need to do."
"Conquer the world!"
Milne’s eyes, once lost, were no longer so; they now sparkled with light.
"That’s right, start by conquering Lundan—first step, take down all of Lundan’s strong..."
Felster nodded in satisfaction and continued, "As far as I know, the strongest person in Lundan is called Wayne. He’s so powerful that all the Archangels, all the Lords of Lust, beg pitifully under his might. Kill him, and the Mortal World is yours."
"Wayne..."
Milne mumbled the name, unsure, though it sounded familiar—he had come across this name in the Republic of Ireland, which had been a target of his journey...
Wait a minute, what was he in the Mortal World for again?
"You came to the Mortal World to conquer it, why are you lost in thought again?"
Felster spoke seductively, steadying Milne’s wavering heart, "I’ve given you the barrier of the Mirror Space, go ahead and act. Kill Wayne and you’ll be the strongest in Lundan. If you encounter a powerful angel by his side, do not hesitate, it’s because..."
"Because of what?"
"Why don’t you figure it out yourself? You’re a Hell Angel meant to conquer the world, you can’t seek answers from others at every problem, you need to embrace Pride."
Felster irresponsibly dropped a statement, only sketching a framework and leaving the rest to Milne’s imagination.
Confirming that the situation was about right, Felster quickly shooed Milne away, wanting him far from Lundan. If Milne caused any harm to even a single blade of grass in the city, he would not hesitate to turn his back on him.
To protect Lundan from being ravaged by devils, the Devil Leader racked his brain with worry.
As the black sedan drove away, Milne stood rooted to the spot.
"Milne, what are you daydreaming about? We agreed to walk down this street, and then the next. You can’t dawdle," the male familiar Dion said with a stern face.
The female familiar Ruth blinked, enjoying the shopping spree, almost getting hooked on it.
"Dion, what are you blabbering about? The Envy Demon King sent us to the Mortal World not for us to indulge ourselves, but to work. That you would say such things shows you have fallen!"
Milne scolded, leaving Dion completely bewildered.
"Wasn’t it you who wanted to shop..."
"Shut up, I’m in charge now!"
Milne ordered the two to abandon their shopping bags and immediately rushed to the outskirts of Lundan Town, releasing the devil’s aura to lure Lundan’s strongest over.
The sudden change in attitude confused Dion, but he didn’t say anything; as long as Milne was ready to get to work, that was enough.

In the lab, Wayne collected all the information and paused today’s experiment.
Juno slowly opened her eyes and looked at her hands, her eyes filled with surprise.
Power!
An unprecedented level of power.
Beyond that, it was the potential that accompanied the awakening of Divine Blood.
Juno felt she had received a mighty power that set her above all beings, a power that was enough to drive away the Lando Family and reclaim the country.
