Chapter 939: Chapter 346: The Three Giants of the Devil Alliance_2
After the sea of blood had calmed, Setoras finally spoke, "I have already agreed with the Lord of Envy, now it’s your turn to speak. Do you agree or not?"
"What did the Lord of Envy give you?"
"He promised to help open Hell Gate and create an entrance to the Mortal World within half a year."
"You believe the Devil’s words?"
"He is one of the Seven Demon Lords. I have no choice but to believe him."
"..."x3
All three minds were silent as Enguima angrily said, "The Lord of Envy has reached out to Hell Gate. What exactly does he want to do? He should be aware of his position. If he opens Hell Gate, the other Demon Lords will not let it go so easily."
Enguima analyzed the benefits and drawbacks, his tone carried a hint of impotent rage. Seeing that his two allies remained silent, he slightly shook his head and said, "I agree to it, we shall proceed as such. However, we cannot give him the Death Knight’s head. That is the key to Hell Gate and must remain in the control of the three of us."
Setoras and Martia thought the same: borrowing the way was fine, but occupying it was not.
If the Lord of Envy tried to force his hand, they would initiate their plan early and pass the key to another Demon Lord. At that point, even if it meant fish dying and nets tearing, Hell would be thrown into chaos, and no one would gain any advantage.
"Which Familiar does the Lord of Envy plan to send to the Mortal World, and what is he preparing to do?"
"Milne."
"Him?"
Enguima was slightly shocked and queried with doubt, "He is the Lord of Envy’s most favored vassal. Isn’t it wasteful to use him as cannon fodder?"
Milne was a spoil of war that the Lord of Envy had obtained when he invaded Heaven, originally an Angel who was corrupted by the Seven Deadly Sins Melody and became a Hell Angel serving the Lord of Envy.
All along, the Lord of Envy had nothing but praise for Milne, not because Milne was that powerful, but because among the Seven Demon Kings, only he possessed an Angel who was loyal to himself.
By comparison, Pride had captured a bunch of Angels and kept them locked in Demon King Castle but never tamed any.
Under such circumstances, Milne was undoubtedly the apple of the Lord of Envy’s eye, greatly cherished, for fear that he might be snatched away by the Lord of Lust on a dark night.
Suddenly sending Milne to the Mortal World...
"The Lord of Envy has a problem. Milne is his bragging right, there must be another plan!"
"Milne was once an Angel; he can break through the Hell Seal and fully descend into the Mortal World."
"..."x3
The three Demon Gods fell silent again, aware the Lord of Envy had other plans. Yet what could they do? Before Hell Gate was opened, they couldn’t resist the Lord of Envy and had to begrudgingly accept the situation.
"What if we hand over the key to Hell Gate to the Lord of Envy?" Martia suggested.
"No, we cannot change the target!" Enguima immediately refuted.

Frank, Paris.
The Underworld Great Tomb.
On Skull Bone Mountain, the White Bone Throne hosted the Headless Knight, without head, horse, or sword, commanded and unable to act independently, yet it still maintained a proud and majestic demeanor, emitting a chilling aura all around.
Above the bone mountain, in the dome of the Great Tomb, the chaotic space squeezed out a black portal. Lines intertwined, casting down three projections.
The man in the center had black hair and golden eyes, possessing a handsome appearance unreachable by ordinary people tightly wrapped in a long figure, with a rather cold demeanor. If released into Lundan, he would captivate both genders and leave none able to cross their legs.
Hell Angel Milne.
The other two projections, one male and one female, were the Lord of Envy’s Familiars, both good-looking.
As goes the master, so go the Familiars. The Lord of Envy was handsome, and his Familiars were not far behind.
Upon the arrival of the three Familiars, the Headless Knight snorted coldly, its thoughts turned to the still-open black portal considering the feasibility of dashing in to reclaim its head.
Milne, curious, looked toward the Headless Knight, well-known in Hell. Sensing the Knight’s focus, he responded with a slight, amicable smile.
The Headless Knight glanced briefly at Milne before shifting his gaze, to which Milne, undeterred, shrugged and said indifferently, "Ruth, Dion, let’s go for a stroll in Paris. I hear it’s quite bustling, and there’s this tower called something-or-other."
"Lord Milne, we should be heading to Windsor in the Republic of Ireland, as per our envious master’s orders."
"The Demon King has ordered you two to obey me, and I have the final say."
The two Familiars frowned unhappily, envying Milne’s favor and resenting his arrogance. A nobody from outside who comes begging in our Hell, what’s there to be so proud of.
These thoughts stayed unspoken in the minds of the two Familiars.
A Hell Angel is still an Angel, and Milne could smoothly pass through Heaven’s seal on Hell, with both thoughts and body fully descending into the Mortal World.
The two Familiars, lacking in strength, wished not to commit suicide, so it was best to hold their tongues.
Milne, hands in pockets, stepped out of the Underworld Great Tomb, gazing at the lavish Mortal World. He closed his eyes in ecstasy and took a deep breath.
Unlike the sulfurous smell of Hell, the Mortal World was too marvelous.
Milne touched his face with his hand then headed straight for Commercial Street as a noble young master, with two guards carrying shopping bags at his side.

Across the sea in Lundan, Wayne had been idling and carousing lately, feeling a bit empty.
Empty in heart.
For he was not human, and with an enduring vitality, his stamina was always a question mark with no possibility of weakness.
His body was not weak, so it could only be his heart. Recently, his conscience had tormented him greatly.
He had just promised Ivan with a pat on the chest, with him around, Anastasia would not lose her purity. And yet, in the blink of an eye, he had forgotten the promise completely.
