Chapter 907: Chapter 337 Beauty is Power_3

Seven voices violently exchanged opinions, Torgoguryr, an Ancient God’s kin, had been verbally lashed by Wayne to the point of shutting himself away, infuriated enough to go home and complain to a higher authority. How could six such inept Void Evil Gods be any match?

Had they fought fairly using magic, Wayne, who harbored the Dark Goddess within and could not unleash his full strength, might have actually been pushed to a draw.

To fight with evolution...

The Dark Goddess found this quite pleasing.

Sloshing!

Accompanied by the sound of water in motion, six melting figures indulged in the sea of knowledge, fusing themselves with their insights, integrating their superficial understandings, and revealing their grasp of life.

Wayne retracted his six tentacles, devouring all six Void Evil Gods. The Book of Greed savored the feast, deeming the taste average yet appreciating the variety of flavors, considering it a pleasant meal.

On the ground, six Black Robes were whisked away by a strong gust from afar, a testament to the existence of six scholars.

Having dealt with the six Void Evil Gods, Wayne gave a thumbs up to Angel Umr who had come to assist. His side didn’t need help; even if the Evil Gods were powerful, he was not a vegetarian. He instructed Umr to go help Mona and quickly take out the Familiars of the Lord of Envy.

Umr stood stunned at the recent turn of events, wondering what formidable entity the Archangel was entangled with. The leadership’s actions were inscrutable, and a show of forbearance surely held deeper significance. She couldn’t fathom it and didn’t dwell on it, instead, she took to the skies and dove straight into the distant battlefield.

"This guy, he really fell for Mona’s nonsense, taking me for an Archangel," Wayne shook his head in resignation. His fake identity was rising rapidly in ranks; thankfully, he wasn’t a Devil, otherwise in another three years, he might rise to the top of Heaven.

The top was out of the question; that was the Heavenly Father, a Celestial-level leader.

He wasn’t asking for much, content with just reaching a Sub-celestial Level.

"Sub-celestial Level seems to be equivalent to Archangel, and it seems I already am one..."

Boom!!!

Smedley’s face was marred by a ferocious wound as he swung his Black Greatsword, soaring into the sky with a dark light flickering, dragging a stretch of Darkness twisted by poison. His domineering presence was unmatched for a moment.

The Heaven Holy Spear plunged down from the heavens, shattering the space, with reverberations spreading rapidly like a tidal surge, shaking the distant Holy Light Barrier until it quivered.

Darkness soared into the sky, falling back to earth with even greater velocity, kicking up billows of dust and roaring as it struck the ground.

Smedley, in a nearly perfect form, descended upon the Mortal World. His body and mind were in exquisite unity, making many a Devil envious. Yet, no matter the upheaval he caused, Mona always firmly suppressed him.

The dust settled.

Smedley stood drenched in venomous blood, with the ground beneath him corrupted into dark sludge. Holding his Black Greatsword, he gasped for breath, gazing upward.

No chance of winning, not the slightest.

Just as this thought crossed his mind, another winged figure descended, two Angels taking position on either side, high above, leaving Smedley with no hope of victory.

"Am I to fall here today?"

It’s a life of highs and lows for everyone, Devils included. Smedley had found the Holy Grail, stepping onto the peak of his career, full of satisfaction and pride, when suddenly his fortunes plummeted, falling from Hell to Heaven, without a moment to catch his breath or adapt.

Smedley could tolerate defeat but not the failure of the grand offering he had made for the Lord of Envy. With a low growl, he flung his Black Greatsword. It transformed into a streak of black lightning, aiming straight for Mona’s brow.

His once handsome features twisted, shedding the false visage of humanity, revealing his true form from Hell.

A kilometer-long Giant Python sprawled upon the earth, its crimson tongue flicking out like flames, twin cold serpent eyes fixated on Mona, injecting a vast amount of poison into the space around her.

Ding!

Mona twirled her Holy Spear, precisely deflecting the incoming Black Greatsword, sending it flying far away. Staring down at the Devil now revealed in his true form, a murderous intent flickered in her eyes.

Memories flooded her, and that voice rang out once more, telling Mona to show no mercy to the Devil, to cut him down without hesitation.

This time, Mona did not resist. She had always harbored a strong obsession with defeating Devils.

The obsession with slaughter!

The Holy Spear shone brilliantly, the Golden Rule Holy Words wrapping around it, and in a moment of extreme illumination, the burning Holy Flame ignited, warping and melting the space around it, turning the surrounding venom to ash.

Below, Smedley opened his massive jaws and lunged towards the heavens, intending to swallow both Angels whole.

As she watched the gaping maw, Mona raised her Holy Spear, channeling the Golden Rule Holy Words into the form of a sword-bearing Angelic apparition, piercing through Smedley’s head and anchoring him firmly to the ground.

"Far too savage..."

Wayne watched from afar, once again marveling at Saint George’s incredible strength, amazed at how just a drop of his blood could evolve Mona to such an extent.

It made The Book of Greed seem plain in comparison; Mona was the one playing with a cheat code.

Clang!

The Black Greatsword firmly landed beside him; Wayne waved his hand and pulled it into his Personal Space. The weapon was a good fit, matching well with his Incomplete Philosopher’s Stone, making his Devil disguise even more convincing.

Weapon +1, Holy Grail +1.

Wayne enjoyed picking up the spoils at the edge of the battlefield.

The camera returned to the main battleground where the kilometer-long snake, fully unleashed and enlarged by the Heaven Holy Spear, was pinned to the ground. Its tail thrashed and twisted, wrapping tightly around the Holy Spear in struggle, and touching the flames, the serpent blazed in Holy Flame, in even greater agony.

Smedley tried to douse the Holy Flame by secreting poison relentlessly, yet the Holy Flame he encountered today was vastly different from any before. Even his last resort, the Seven Deadly Sins Melody, could only slow down the burn, incapable of extinguishing it.
