Chapter 807: Chapter 312 Release That Queen_2

An avatar might suffice, or reincarnation, but Lord Pride had long since donned the shell of a human and descended upon the Mortal World.

At that very moment, the mysterious man was conquered by Pride, willingly becoming his disciple, taking The Book of Hell with him as he left, studying Hell while beginning the evolution of The Book of Hell.

The mysterious man was named Frank Turner, a member of the Tulip Family, Queen Sophia’s most esteemed Hell Study Expert. He contributed greatly to the Royal Family’s successful creation of the Hell Demon Lord Container.

These theories all stemmed from The Book of Hell, which documented the Seven Deadly Sins Melody.

At that time, Frank himself was still very weak and had to rely on the Royal Family’s financial and material resources for research. Therefore, all research results were the property of the Royal Family.

Those dressed in finery are not necessarily silk farmers; this truth held everywhere.

Without decisive Fist Power, one must skillfully use one’s agile mind. Frank let slip part of his research findings, which were then acquired by the then Deputy Director Ob.

At that time, Ob was searching for the future, and seeing Hell as his most promising prospect, he naturally took the opportunity to conduct thorough research.

Thus came the Snow Family’s budget version of the Seven Demon Kings Vessel.

Ob didn’t realize that the Snow Family’s Demon King Container already had an owner. Frank placed The Book of Hell inside it, using the Demon King’s container to evolve it.

When Sir Wei raided the Snow Family’s residence, Frank retrieved The Book of Hell, later capturing the Familiar Guyin and sewing The Book of Hell into Guyin’s body, taking the opportunity to conduct some live studies as well.

By this time, Frank had become extremely powerful. Fearing he could not grasp how deep the Royal Family and Tulip Family’s waters were, he worried there could be others like him, therefore, he kept an extremely low profile.

Afterward, The Book of Hell merged with the Royal Family’s Demon King Container, particularly the Lust and Gluttony containers that had been corrupted by Wayne, resulting in a significant evolutionary effect.

Frank himself grew stronger and began coveting the Royal Family’s Divine Blood.

His ambition was never to conquer; he was a pure researcher, who had long since abandoned lowly pursuits, only wishing to know the eventual outcome of The Book of Hell’s evolution.

His intention to deceive Douglas was the same; staying hidden, he manipulated Douglas to steal the Divine Blood.

Unfortunately, they collided head-on. Douglas and the Lando Family rebelled on the same day. With the Lando Family holding more cards, Douglas was no match and was forced to confront the Death Knight himself.

This pair caused a commotion like stirring up a hornet’s nest, as God-chosen Knights came wave after wave.

"Death grants you eternal peace..."

Wayne lifted his sword, catching the mysterious man’s skull. With a flash of cold light from Shadowmare, he eradicated the last remnants of the man’s thoughts.

He had wanted to extract some information from the mysterious man, but fearing further tricks, he decided it safer to bury him and his secrets together.

Wayne finished up and dismounted to search the body.

There was little to be found; the mysterious man was stingy to the extreme, unwilling to leave behind even the slightest residue in death.

"That’s not right, where has my lost Book of Hell gone?"

Wayne found nothing and started to suspect Austin, "Tell me, did you hide my book?"

Austin couldn’t be bothered with Wayne and, swinging his sword, shattered the Spatial Barrier, "Be careful; he’s not the biggest mastermind behind the scenes, or should I say he too has allies, lurking within the Headquarters of the Magical Department."

"There’s another master?"

Wayne softly exclaimed, urging Austin to explain swiftly.

"The hall of the Tulip Family was attacked, and the new Deputy Director Anick is missing..."

"I was worried things had changed, so I came to find you..."

"And I was teleported directly here..."

Austin spoke rapidly, his presence there motivated by concerns of Wayne falling into an ambush, but also by thoughts of rescuing Queen Sophia. Knowing Wayne all too well, and believing a nuisance remains for a thousand years, he prioritized the rescue of the Queen.

He’d just spotted Anastasia’s silhouette and stepped into the battlefield of Wayne and the mysterious man.

"So there really is a master..."

Wayne rubbed his non-tingling and entirely non-existent scalp, having thought the mysterious man controlling Douglas was the puppet master, only to find he too was but a puppet.

With this, the Book of Hell most likely rested with Douglas.

"Let’s go, we have to find Douglas; the Queen is in his hands."

The Spatial Barrier broke, and the Darkness and Death Knights arrived at the tattered ruins. Anastasia was still leisurely resolving the chaotic space, completely unaware Douglas had left long ago.

Wayne frowned slightly; he had indeed ordered Anastasia not to be too proactive in rescuing people but had not expected her to be this passive.

As suspected, she had been ensnared.

Sure enough, there was another master!

But who could it be?

Wayne stared at Anastasia, telepathically reaching into her body. On viewing, he found himself at a loss.

The control method was peculiar, resembling a succubus’s allure, with no clear casting marks, yet causing severe dulling in Anastasia’s intellect.

This was a puzzle Wayne couldn’t solve. After pondering for 0.25 seconds, he tore the exam paper to shreds.

He jumbled Anastasia’s thoughts and restructured them, similar to a save game feature, bringing her thoughts back to half an hour earlier.

Anastasia jolted, snapping back to clarity, casting aside all reservations, and communicated telepathically with Wayne, informing him that before her mind was dulled, she had seen an eye.

"An Eye?"

Wayne felt his chest, instinctively thinking of the Ancient God and the Ancient God’s Kin.

Anastasia thought the same; having faced similar circumstances, she was certain that among Lundan, there was a member of the Ancient God’s Kin.

Wayne didn’t jump to conclusions immediately, glancing at Austin, "Not just the Queen; the Princess and Prince have been kidnapped too. You’re right; we need a Queen. Without her, we’ll be at the forefront."
