Chapter 514: Chapter 225 Becoming an Elf

"You want to learn Divine Arts?"

In the manor’s bedroom, Philomena sat in front of her vanity, her nightgown half open, receiving people in a relaxed state, looking quizzically at her little boyfriend in the mirror.

Wayne stood behind Philomena, slowly wiping night cream on her, his expression serious and meticulous, as if guarding justice itself.

"Yeah, the Divine Art that transforms into an elf, I’m quite fond of elves, like such a beautiful elf as you."

"You have such a sweet mouth; let me taste it."

Philomena had a taste, finding the flavor endless and sweet indeed, love’s fragrance was truly sweet. Laughing, she said, "What’s the use of learning that for you? You can’t become an elf."

The Ancient Gods were far more noble than elves. Wayne’s evolution path was already determined, and it was not possible for him to be affected by a lower evolution.

"Just give it a try, what if it works."

"Alright, if you want to try and fail, I don’t mind teaching you."

Without a second thought, Philomena carelessly sold out the secrets of the Moonlight Church, her eyes smiling as she asked, "Why not ask your High Priest teacher? You’re so obedient; you should ask her instead."

"She taught me, but only the natural methods; I want to collect all three types of Divine Arts from the Life Alliance."

Wayne explained his reasons. Hefei was naturally willing to teach without reservations, but his Dragon Blood teacher’s evolution path was already determined, unable to transform into an elf, and her research was not extensive enough to meet his demands.

If you’re going to learn, learn only the best!

Philomena was different. As a half-step summit late-phase Ninth Layer, just one step away from becoming a Legendary Mage, her Elf Form was more perfect.

Wayne to Chris: "I’ll borrow your teacher for a bit; I’ll give her back after I’m done."

"It’s good to be eager to learn, but you’re a Pastor of the Naturalism Church, and I’m a High Priest of the Moonlight Church. Asking for Divine Arts just like that, it’s quite difficult for me!"

Philomena turned to look at Wayne, lifting a finger to her lips, "What kind of tuition are you prepared to offer?"

"Several hundred million!"

Wayne’s smile rippled, the mischievous energy between the two nearly igniting, the atmosphere turning tinder-dry in an instant.

"No, I still have to participate in the Holy Maiden selection, I must maintain my purity, this line cannot be crossed."

Seeing Philomena’s movements grow larger, Wayne quickly held her in his arms, promising to yield to her after the selection was over.

Philomena was somewhat dissatisfied: "Not to mention you don’t plan on becoming a Saint Heir, even if you did, you haven’t been pure for a while now, what’s there to care about?"

"Just to be safe, I should take the steady approach."

Wayne stood firm in his opinion, to be fair, he felt that he should be considered impure.

It had nothing to do with Philomena or Chris; the original body was a spy, first trained by Windsor’s intelligence services and then by the Farak Intelligence Bureau. There was a slim chance of purity, he might have already been compromised by a female superior.

It was one night when he, a spy in training, was ordered to infiltrate enemy territory. In a black tight suit during his mission, he was unfortunately captured, several masked female officers emerged, and then he was in a dire situation.

But what if!

What if the female officers did nothing and just pulled him into playing cards all night?

You have to have dreams as a person; you can’t give up hope.

Wayne decided to keep this useful body, to meet the Holy Maiden selection with the purest posture possible, lest there be a stone at the site of the selection testing for purity, everyone else touching it to find it crystal clear, and him touching it to turn pitch-black.

It would be so embarrassing with so many people watching!

Veronica was also present at the scene; how to explain...

Oh, he could frame Veronica.

Philomena laughed charmingly, poking Wayne in the chest: "Why don’t you go become a Saint Heir? Once you are one, I’ll sleep with you then, creating a huge scandal for the Naturalism Church."

Wayne slapped his buttocks: "Stop laughing; quickly give me the Divine Art. While it’s still dark, I’ll try to learn it overnight."

"This isn’t a good place; follow me..."

Philomena waved her hand to open the Dark Domain, leading the way in her bathrobe, arriving at her own elevation cultivation site.

Wayne inquired about her Legendary Mage progression, to which he received an unhurried reply. Her Essence of Life was improving every day, and solidifying her foundation was the foremost priority.

"Where’s the method, oral transmission, or do I have to read a book?" Wayne couldn’t wait.

"It’s right here."

Philomena tapped her temple: "The Secret Technique is very complex; it requires three to five months of teaching, which should keep you busy for quite a while."

"Give me something simple and rough; I can handle it."

Wayne gestured for Philomena to transfer the Secret Technique through thought. With their relationship, there were no secrets to speak of. Direct mental communication was possible, and his mind was unusually vast, so there was no worry about damaging his brain.

Philomena insisted on oral transmission, her arms wrapped around Wayne’s neck, presenting her tender lips, interspersed with verbal sparring, completing the transmission of the Secret Technique.

A moment later, they parted.

Philomena was left wanting more, looking around in a daze, only to find her little boyfriend sitting cross-legged, diligently cultivating.

"Humph!"

The High Priest huffed coldly, discontentedly sitting in Wayne’s arms, pulling up his arms around herself.

"How old are you, acting like a little girl."

"I am a little girl!"

"..."

Alright then, as long as you’re happy.

Wayne hugged the ’little girl’ in his arms tighter, perusing the new knowledge in his mind, to be precise, spelling formulas.

Divine Arts had their own set of formulas, residing at the very pinnacle of Faith Magic; because they were so high-end, the form of the formulas was entirely different.

To put it in an analogy, if Faith Magic was mathematics, Divine Arts were advanced mathematics, with a stark difference in style.

Must say though, Philomena’s mind was quite sharp, neatly organizing the complicated formulas, so Wayne didn’t need to understand the principles; he just had to apply the formulas, and that was it.

There are many kinds of transformations into elves, a single faith, and the three types of faith from the Life Alliance. The more faiths involved, the more perfect the elf transformation becomes, and the greater the potential.
