Chapter 494: Chapter 218: Things have come to this, let’s eat first_2

Austin was about to make a move when the container of the Lord of Gluttony, a large fly, suddenly blocked Guyin’s path. Since swallowing Wayne, it had been buzzing around like a headless fly, and now that it saw the enemy trying to escape, it finally regained its senses.

"Roar roar roar————"

With a roar, Guyin unleashed a black tempest on either side of him. His four wings spanned an impressive four hundred meters, and upon contact, they effortlessly repelled the large fly.

As the monstrous bird failed to halt the advance, the pale tree below began to stir.

The spiral-twisted branches and trunk constricted, as though time was flowing backward, returning via the originally traversed nine orifices of the Succubus. Her chest and abdomen swelled significantly, making her appear as if she was about to give birth.

Her eyes glazed over as she looked up into the shadows above, and her mouth suddenly gaped open. A pair of white hands reached out, and the faceless being pushed apart her jaws to emerge.

The Great Eyeball locked onto its target, the foam expanding wildly, transforming the faceless one after enlargement into a sharp sword thrusting straight into the sky.

The blade was unstoppable, piercing right through the four-winged monster’s breast, ignoring the defense of the metallic feathers, and protruding a hundred meters before ceasing its extension.

From afar, the Succubus knelt on the ground, her body arching backwards, her hands hanging down to the ground, acting as a fulcrum, spewing a white sword that was grossly disproportionate to her body size.

By then, her abdomen had flattened out, and her fiery red lips were horribly expanded and deformed. Her enchanting facial features twisted, and the veins beneath her skin protruded in a crisscross, leaving no trace of her once stunning beauty.

The monstrous bird flapped its wings as if it were pinned by an arrow and, screaming, unable to escape.

Just as its body began to turn translucent, the large fly flew over, its chest cavity opening to reveal a spiral mouthpart. Foaming at the mouth, it unleashed a sword, piercing through the monster’s body and delivering a second severe blow.

The two swords crossed above and below, with foam writhing at the intersection, liquid seeping into the monster’s veins, contaminating its flesh, with the affected area growing larger and larger.

Lower levels of evolution cannot influence higher levels, but higher forms of life can contaminate lower forms.

Wayne, after contaminating Philomena and summarizing the experience, developed this new form of attack.

It couldn’t be called an attack, rather a granting of evolution, a blessing, as he would have it called.

As for whether the recipient could endure it, that was not his concern.

"Roar roar roar————"

Guyin’s moans gradually weakened, his two penetrative wounds replaced by the foam, and the external white sores appeared insignificant compared to his massive body, at most a pinprick by comparison.

The inside, however, was different.

The foam devoured, assimilated, proliferated, and mutated Guyin’s flesh and cells, gradually taking over his body.

From Guyin’s translucent, semi-transparent body, it was apparent that the central region could not become transparent. Not only was it beyond the control of his thought will, but it also shackled him in place like a set of stocks.

The Mysterious Man sensed the changes within Guyin’s body, pausing in shock momentarily, then overflowing with elation as if he had discovered a new continent, he salivated at the sight of Wayne.

Premium research material!

No, ultimate research material!

Although he was a follower of Lord Pride, he had no qualms about studying the highest forms of Void life and, if he was not mistaken, he had discovered the real cause of Austin’s death.

Austin sought Wayne, but being unaware of Wayne’s true form, he underestimated the enemy, fell prey to the contamination, and lost his sanity as he opened the Gate of Truth, only to be devoured by a passing Void Worm.

This explanation seemed to resolve the mystery of Austin’s death.

Splendid!

Overjoyed, the Mysterious Man, with newfound enthusiasm, promptly forgot about his dedicated and hard-working employee, activated the formulas on The Book of Hell, and fully unleashed the Seven Deadly Sins Melody.

A black storm surged up from Guyin’s heart, shattering his body with gale-force winds, and then raged from heaven to earth, pulverizing the Succubus below, along with Guyin’s mutated body of foam.

A clump of foam was flung away by the black tornado, which after landing, squirmed and transformed into a Great Eyeball tentacle.

The Book of Greed popped its head out, sniffing the aroma of food.

Wayne was unwilling to succumb and dodged the terrifying suction. The black tempest was eerily unpredictable, and the closest large fly had already been disintegrated. He, having hidden within Guyin, the Succubus, and the fly’s phenolic minds, lost contact and feared that entering recklessly would leave him shredded to pieces.

This seemed familiar—Wayne felt like he had witnessed this scene before.

The boss was about to transition to the third form!

While curious, the containers of the Demon Kings of envy, wrath, sloth, and greed lost control, struggling to flee, but after futile effort, were consumed by the black tornado.

The black vortex compressed, stripping away all symbols of the Hell Demon Lords and forging a new shell in the darkness.

The three-meter tall white faceless being, its upper half-mask covered in black, with elongated arms and legs and slender limbs lacking muscle, had its chest and abdomen split open with vertical lines, as black sludge slowly oozed out, as six sin-heavy faces ebbed and flowed.

Behind it, four thick tentacles flailed disorderly.

Wayne’s eyes widened, remembering that the last time he encountered such an aberration was at the Snow Family abode.

Unable to overcome the elemental advantage, it was reduced to ashes by Mona with the Heaven Holy Spear in hand.

After the monster’s death, The Book of Hell dropped and was taken by a man in a smart suit. According to Mona, that man was in Lundan.

Good news: The mastermind behind the attack on Lando Manor was found.

Bad news: The identity was unknown.

Wayne, observant, noticed that the white monster differed from the last appearance; there were fewer faces representing sin, which could be explained by the lack of fusion material, missing the earthly vessel of Lord Pride.

But what was with the four tentacles? Hell didn’t seem to go for that, had his flesh been added?
