Chapter 1212: Chapter 414: We Meet Again, Wayne_4

The effect was mediocre; Mona pressed down on her hand, Wayne clasped her waist, and not only could she not exert any force, but she also leaned into Wayne’s arms in the process.

"Shameless, even the Holy Light has darkened because of you!"

Heya spoke out in anger, followed by a series of accusations.

To be fair, what she said was not wrong at all, and it made sense from any standpoint.

Except from Hexuno’s standpoint.

Hexuno took a deep breath, let Mona go, leisurely took out a makeup mirror, and after applying lipstick, she planted a kiss on Wayne’s face with a smack.

Heya trembled with rage.

Hexuno sighed lightly, frowning slightly as she softly said, "Boss, this Lord Angel is so scary. She won’t get angry at me for you, will she?"

Without waiting for Wayne’s response, she continued, "She probably won’t, she’s so loyal. She’ll just feel sorry for you, unlike me, I’m just making a scene for no reason."

Wayne’s heart was racing, the contrast was too stark; seduced by the flirting of the Archangel, he felt fiery and blurted out loudly, "It’s fine, I like those who create a scene!"

Heya: ୧(╬▔皿▔)૭

Damn it, what kind of magic has this little nun cast on the Archangel, why does he spoil her so much?

Heya had no idea that every time she cursed, the coveted Archangel was slipping a big step further into the decadent Abyss, and her actions now were no different from those of The Pope.

"Tsk, tsk, The Walking Lust really is quite beautiful!" Wayne Telepathic Transmission said.

Hexuno’s eyes twitched slightly, probably guessing what Wayne was about to say next.

"Archangel, you wouldn’t want to see a faithful subordinate lose their purity because of you, right?"

"Do whatever you want, if it’s her, I don’t care."

"So I can take that as your agreement?"

"Shameless!"

Hexuno, with a dark expression, agreed to several shameless demands, and her look towards Heya became more and more annoyed; she had sacrificed a lot to protect Heya, but the latter kept cursing her all the time. The more she thought about it, the angrier she got, wishing she could drag her down as well.

But in the end, it was just a thought; she didn’t dare to actually proceed.

Fancy restaurant.

Isabella sat at the long table, feasting merrily, with dishes and cups in disarray by her side. The waitstaff had finished their shift, and the manager himself was serving dishes, so busy he almost split himself in two.

It was midnight, and the restaurant was essentially closed. Even if some were still open, they couldn’t satisfy Isabella’s gluttonous appetite.

But Wayne had given too much!

The manager called the chef, summoning everyone back to work. The chef refused, ranting about freedom and romance, but after receiving the boss’s call, he shamefacedly rolled back to work overtime.

Times have changed; with the cost of living so high, a steady income was essential.

The chefs were unwilling to work overtime after midnight, but their wives and daughters would have to work late-night shifts, a clear choice between the two.

This dining table bore the raw reality of society.

What Isabella was devouring wasn’t French cuisine, it was humans!

Wayne, holding a glass of juice, watched Isabella eat with interest, a sense of satisfaction like feeding a small animal.

On either side of him sat Hexuno and Heya. Every time Heya glared at him, Hexuno would snuggle up to Wayne to stamp her kiss, making a point right then and there.

Wayne’s face was covered in lipstick prints, his lips nearly worn bare, and he looked at Heya speechlessly: "Haven’t you noticed? The only reason I’m enduring all this humiliation is because of you. Don’t provoke her; every time you do, she comes after me."

Heya bit her lower lip. This wasn’t a reason for her to tolerate little Bichi; she wouldn’t give up.

Recollecting her previous suggestions, Heya brought up old matters again, persuading Wayne to use herself, the purer one. After all, she was an Angel, albeit a Slothful one, but it wouldn’t be too bad for Wayne.

It was different with little Bichi, a mere mortal.

"Since our meeting, you’ve committed six of the Seven Deadly Sins, except for Sloth," Wayne quipped.

"Mister Wayne, I haven’t committed the sin of Gluttony," Heya replied.

"Not denying Lust then?"

Wayne teased her, then said, "You’ve suffered so much loss, yet you won’t quit. Isn’t that Gluttony?"

Heya was left speechless. What kind of logic was that, a new interpretation of the Seven Deadly Sins?

Seeing Heya silent, Wayne shrugged: "See, there’s Sloth for you."

"..." x2

Hexuno stealthily pinched Wayne around the waist, warning him not to provoke The Walking Lust without cause; if he had any issues, direct them at her.

Wayne secretly nodded, no matter if Hexuno’s motives were self-sacrifice or something else, he regarded it as jealousy in his eyes.

Brilliant!

Wayne suddenly started liking Heya. Having her by his side was very useful—it could speed up Hexuno’s corruption.

In the main hall of the restaurant, by the entrance.

The manager seemed to teleport in front of two women in long robes, blocking the way. In a high-end restaurant, disheveled guests were refused service.

Moreover, Heavenly Father had booked the place, so no other Heavenly Fathers would be served tonight.

The two women were Givenchy and Sukra, with the latter slightly smiling away the manager’s doubts. Upon learning that the two ladies were with the Heavenly Father who had booked the place, he bowed and invited them in.

The manager pulled out the chairs; Sukra sat down and ordered a glass of juice, smilingly looking towards Wayne, who was frowning deeply.

"We meet again, Wayne."

Sukra pulled back her gray hood, revealing a striking face, bandaged and eye-catching, enough that even Isabella took a moment from her busy feasting to glance at her.

"You are...?"

Wayne glanced at Givenchy, who responded dully without acknowledging his voice, then back at the gray-haired woman, whose eyes seemed different: "Beauty, have we met before?"

On both his sides, Hexuno remained silent while Heya coldly stood up, ready to make her move the moment Wayne threw away the glass in his hand.

"I’ve seen you before, in Lundan..."

"Wayne Detective Agency!"

Sukra reminisced for a moment, then slowly said, "If I remember correctly, you really like potatoes."
