Under the arrangement of financial power, Lundan’s best photography team was adjusting the lighting.

Behind the wide-open doors was a grand hall, with two high-backed red velvet walnut chairs placed in front, the camera focusing on just four people, the male and female heads of the household seated, with the young master and miss standing on either side.

Veronica stood beside Hefei, Wayne beside Austin, on one side a smiling blonde mother and daughter, on the other a somber pair in black suits, father and son, a clear division between them both visually and in terms of their innate temperament.

One would think this was a blended family if they didn’t know any better!

After a few posed shots, the photographer signaled they could take a break.

Austin smiled at Hefei, Hefei looked up at her daughter and student, Veronica turned her head and glared at Wayne, why are you in my family’s photo?

He was an artist with aspirations. The previous posed shots seemed strained, relying solely on the family’s respectable looks and aura to carry the scene, the poses and styling seemingly perfect but only superficial, no different from any ordinary family photo.

No genuine feeling, no highlight, it would be thrown into the trash bin of memory before long.

The candid shot was different, revealing everyone’s true emotions, no pretense before the camera, this was art close to life.

Afterward, the two high-backed chairs were removed, and several more models posed.

The photographer had already captured his most outstanding work of the night, the later poses were just going through the motions, the four subjects’ faces a bit stiff.

Hefei wanted several for her office, Wayne and Veronica would place them in their rooms, and Austin, though reluctant, had to add a small frame under the wedding photo to make his wife happy.

He had it all figured out, add a vase in front of the frame, just enough to block the annoying concrete pillar.

After the photo shoot, Austin smiled at Hefei, unsurprisingly getting the cold shoulder.

He didn’t mind, since Hefei was in Lundan and had promised to come home every night. He was redoing the process of dating, and with Veronica covering for him, everything was bound to fall into place.

Wayne, as a new young master in the Lando Family, would come often in the future and couldn’t stay in the guest room forever, so it was only natural that he got his own room.

Austin was quite annoyed about having a third-wheel under his roof, severely affecting his romantic time with his wife, considering building a remote villa within the estate to throw the guy out of sight, out of mind.

That’s how wealthy people think: I don’t want to see him, so buy him a house.

No sooner said than done, under Butler Megan’s arrangement, the construction company operated by the Lando Family came overnight, taking measurements and planning the budget.

This Monica wasn’t the same as the Monica who had been transformed into a black cat by a curse from senior Cloris, but a real black cat.

According to Veronica, Monica was a pet cat kept by Mister Lando, who wasn’t close to its owner due to a lack of litter cleaning, preferring to snuggle with Butler Megan instead.

Wayne jumped out of the window and quickly came up behind the black cat, taking it by surprise and vigorously stroking it at fourteen times the speed.

"Monica, up you go!"

The black cat’s eyes widened with confusion. It was bewildered, then secretly delighted, and bewildered again.

By the time it was ready to lash out in a frenzy, Wayne had already left, pleasured and gone.
