The main purpose was to collect experimental data, the secondary to annoy her, with no real intention to turn her into a Devil.

Fake or not, it wouldn’t work!

Each experiment, Heya was furious, wishing she could tear the Devil to pieces on the spot.

The experiment was not going smoothly; Wayne didn’t know where to start with the Reincarnated Angel, as he was no Great Devil of Hell, something only the Lord of Envy could do, he could not.

The technology was very mature.

Mature technology meant that the path had been well-trodden. Utilizing the Life Domain with the help of the Philosopher’s Stone, altering the life form of the outside world, bestowing evolution or, to put it another way, corruption.

The level of corruption was high, it could change humans, and also the Devil’s Container.

For instance, Christian who was impersonated by Wayne, truly believed that ’Christian’s’ Devil Form could not resist mechanical changes, he would gravitate back to the right path, and become part of the three branches.
