Chapter 1067: Chapter 378: First Like This, Then Like That, and Then Died_2

Just off the plane, filled with God’s presence, no need to wait for three days, handle the affairs now.

Ivan remained silent; the Dark Church naturally had no objections, as a crowd swarmed to the trial platform, creating the current scene.

Across from them, Anton made his enthusiastic entrance amidst a round of applause, and everyone except Ivan was excited.

Wherever the Divine Oracle High Priest went - referees, witnesses, organizers, co-organizers - all warmly welcomed him, truly seizing the auspicious timing, still vividly displaying the realm of vibrant life bursting forth.

Unlike the lively Dark Church group, the delegation from the Naturalism Church appeared mournful, with only sparse, spiritless applause and faces filled with worry and fatigue.

Wayne glanced at the Dark Church’s team, united and harmonious; a contrasting sight to the high-level members of the Naturalism Church, lacking standout figures except for Gavin.

"Mister Wayne, I was a bit rude just now; I hope you won’t mind," Anton said, wearing a black robe, a hand behind his back, exuding a master’s demeanor.

"As long as Mister Anton goes easy on me, I won’t mind."

"Peace is precious, indeed."

After exchanging brief words, the referee initiated the prohibition barrier to prevent the battle from affecting the spectators.

The moment the barrier activated, the trial platform became its own space. Streaming water curtain projections opened on each side of the barrier, ensuring a 360-degree clear view for the audience of everything happening within the arena.

"Mister Wayne, after you," Anton courteously said.

"Then I won’t stand on ceremony."

Wayne slightly narrowed his eyes, his five fingers coming together like a blade held high. His fingertips radiated a dense life aura, projecting a five-meter-long white greatsword above him.

Its form and appearance identical to an Elemental Mantra.

A tremendous surge of magic power erupted like a raging sea around Wayne, his form growing blurrier and becoming invisible to the naked eye.

Conversely, the projected white greatsword became more vivid and realistic, its blade shimmering like genuine metal gloss.

With a cling of the sword, an invisible oppressive force fluctuated within the enclosed space of the trial platform, a heavy pressure causing an asphyxiating sensation amongst the spectators, faintly sensing a whiff of death.

"Holy shit, aren’t you the pretty boy? xN"

"What kind of Divine Arts is this?"

Anton’s expression shifted from surprise to shock, a chill rising in his heart as he sensed an overwhelming pressure and moved to activate his Life Force Field.

No!

Anton didn’t activate his Life Force Field immediately, as the host of the event he saw no reason to show weakness in the first round.

Although Wayne’s Divine Arts was strong, it wasn’t entirely unmanageable.

Anton took a deep breath, spread his robe with both hands, stimulated Dark Light, and successively set up three Dark Portals, conjuring a solid Dark Triangular Shield beside him.

The portals and shield faintly displayed the elusive silhouette of the Dark Goddess.

Faced with the powerful strike, he chose the thickest armor.

"Fzzt!"

A paper-tearing sound emerged, and before anyone realized, the three Dark Portals vanished.

Wayne raised his sword; merely the pressure from the physical sword cleared the immediate obstacles, confronting the strongest black triangular shield. With a press of his fingers, the white sword shadow instantly split both the shield and Anton in half.

The audience gasped in shock, their faces turning pale in an instant as they did not anticipate the battle to be so one-sided.

And even resulted in death.

Before the Dark Church could act on their rage and rush forward to avenge Anton, they saw the white greatsword fade into nothingness, the sword itself disappearing without a trace.

With the black shield split in two, but Anton gone, Wayne lowered his hand and patted his shoulder, smiling, "This is just a spar, stopping at an appropriate point. Now, it’s your turn."

"Ah! Eh? Ah..."

Anton stuttered, peered at the gate of the Death Kingdom, his robe soaked with cold sweat, almost believing he had genuinely died.

"Mister Anton, it’s your turn, make your move."

"Is it my turn now?"

Taking a deep breath, calming his nearly leaping heart, Anton faced an unprecedented formidable enemy, perceiving only a fog, unclear of anything.

Lies, the rumors were all deceitful; he fell for the schemes of the Naturalism Church.

A pretty face rising on merit, not relying on special talents; he had nothing to his name, nor did he gain influence by seducing the female Pope of his own Church.

Facing an almost insurmountable foe, with the Dark Church at his back and no retreat, Anton unleashed all his magical power, dragging virtual projections from The Void, spreading his most powerful Life Force Field.

Endless darkness spread out, the momentum like a mountain and tsunami, heavy pressure affecting the physical world, nearly twisting the space. Affecting the mental realm, causing onlookers’ hearts to race, sweat to drip, making breathing difficult.

Anton raised his hands, as darkness spread from beneath his feet towards Wayne with the force of thunder and lightning, containing layers upon layers of chaotic, decayed Death Aura, mixed within the pure darkness.

The overlapping dark spaces swept over, and Wayne took a step forward, pale light flickering beneath his feet.

After advancing to Legendary Mage, he also acquired his own Life Domain, able to drag The Void and project an illusory world unique to him on the God-chosen Continent.

Unlike other Legendary Mages, his world was chaotic, containing too many Information Laws, unable to form a stable, realistic world.

Regrettably, he settled for less.

Wrapped in a superficial layer over his pale essence, he copied Saina’s Life Force Field, conjuring a vast, wild mountain forest.
