My Younger Brother Is The Chosen One -
Ch. 64 - The Jiang Hu wasn’t filled with killing and fighting
“You’re exactly like the rumours—despicable!”
Yu Lan, who was slightly bushing, mumbled softly. She felt extremely uncomfortable under Qin Feng’s staring.
While she knew that her appearance was extremely attractive to men, she still couldn’t stand the fiery gaze that Qin Feng had fixed on her. It was as if he was about to tear her apart and devour her at any moment.
“Oh my god! You’re finally here!”
Whitey fell on its butt in exhaustion as its eyelids closed against its will. It could no longer hold on, and it instantly fell asleep.
While it had an epic-grade potential, it was still a rabbit at the Ninth layer of the Phenomenal realm. Faced with so many Spirit Martial realm experts, and even a Dao realm expert, it had held on solely with its resolution.
And now that Qin Feng had come out, it could no longer hold on.
“Sleep!”
Qin Feng gently picked up Whitey from the ground. Unlike the white rabbit that he had raised, the current Whitey’s white fur was now completely dyed with blood, and the dirt and dust that also clung to its body made it a more miserable sight than a stray rabbit.
But he didn’t show any signs of disgust as he pulled Whitey into his arms, even overlooking the blood that stained his white clothes.
“Boss!”
Qian Jun hurriedly scampered over to kneel, dutifully playing his role as a loyal henchman.
“Despicable!!”
The eyes of the gathered crowd were filled with disdain. They couldn’t believe Qian Jun to be such a person.
He clearly possessed the cultivation of the First layer of the Dao realm, and his armour and halberd were clearly remarkable items. Yet, he chose to completely abandon his morals and prostrate himself before Qin Feng.
And he was prostrating so smoothly, so naturally.
Qian Jun, on the other hand, was completely unbothered. To him, they were instead laughably childish.
They all believed that participating in the Death Elimination Tournament could change their fates, but none of them knew that they were just cannon fodder meant to showcase the might of the prodigies.
He had seen through all of this clearly, and rather than going against the different pressures that would come his way in the near future, he could simply just transform himself into an ornament that hung on Qin Feng’s thighs.
The Jiang Hu wasn’t filled with killing and fighting, the Jiang Hu was filled with human relationships and favours!!
Qin Feng, as the Son of God in the Moon Goddess Palace with his perverted, domineering talent, was never destined to be an ordinary person. Only by clinging to his thighs now could he change his fate.
“A henchman?”
Qin Feng scrutinised Qian Jun without being put off.
It was completely normal for a strong person to accept underlings. It’s not like they would personally deal with everything that came their way.
“Ding dong! Congratulations to Master for obtaining a henchman. You have obtained the Slave Seal!”
Slave Seal: Ungraded. It can be branded on your loyal henchmen to buff them with half of your combat power. If any hint of betrayal grows within them, they will suffer and die by hellfire. (Note: Unique physiques and awakened realms are not included in the buff.)
“What a good thing!”
Qin Feng’s eyes were instantly bright as he clamoured in his heart.
Even though his Celestial Physique, Indomitable Sword Heart, and third level of Sword Intent couldn’t be added to the buff, his Qualities of God alone granted a tenfold buff. This meant that the targets could enjoy a fivefold boost to their combat strength.
Overlooking the more peculiar prodigy like Qian Jun, even other prodigies would find it hard to resist the temptation of a fivefold buff.
The price in return was merely permanent loyalty, and it wasn’t as if they would find any reason to betray such a proper gentleman like him.
Qin Feng glanced at Qian Jun, asking softly, “Do you truly intend on following me?”
“Yes!”
Qian Jun nodded solemnly. He wasn’t joking in the slightest.
While Qian Jun possessed the talent to make a name for himself in this competition, he understood that upon ascension,t he would remain at a mere bottom among the higher ranks, and regardless of the rank, he would still have the fate of becoming a servant in the future.
Since he was going to have to work under someone anyway, why wouldn't he find himself a boss with potential?
“Alright!”
Mysterious golden runes appeared at the tip of Qin Feng’s finger, and before Qian Jun could even react, Qin Feng had slapped his palm on Qian Jun’s forehead. The golden runes flashed subtly on his forehead for a brief moment before disappearing.
Rumble!
The energy within Qian Jun’s body suddenly surged forth, causing cracks to appear in his vicinity as his aura increased fivefold.
“What is that?!”
Regardless of whether it was the gathered crowd in the arena, the spectators outside, or even the bunch with the Emperor of Six Daos, no one could keep their cool anymore.
Qin Feng had merely stamped a rune on Qian Jun’s forehead and immediately increased his strength fivefold. If a few Almighties had done this, they wouldn’t have been very surprised.
However, Qin Feng had just ascended to the First layer of the Spirit Martial realm and was an entire great realm beneath Qian Jun.
What is this?!
“What’s going on?!”
Even Qian Jun was stunned as waves of emotion washed over him.
He could clearly sense the burgeoning strength within him. He had indeed been strengthened fivefold. While he didn’t experience the joys of the Qualities of God Qin Feng enjoyed, he had definitely entered the higher ranks of the prodigies.
No!
He had firmly decided to prostrate himself to this boss of his. Even Jesus himself couldn’t change his mind!
Qin Feng overlooked their surprise as he looked up at Yu Lan, who stood on a flying sword. If he could stamp a slave seal on her forehead, he would get quite a number of rewards, wouldn’t he?
However, while the Slave Seal was effective, the requirement for its use was that the target had to be completely willing to accept it.
“This is the strongest prodigy of Huang Gu?!”
Yu Lan’s expression turned incomparably solemn as she sensed just how terrifying the strongest prodigy of Huang Gu was.
“Gulp!”
Everyone swallowed their saliva in fear. It felt as though a storm was brewing.
There was a legend from history that whenever the world teetered on the brink of chaos, various prodigies would all emerge with great fortunes on their sides. And as long as they could defeat each other, they would be able to rob them of their luck.
And the final victor would obtain great fortunes from the heavens, allowing them to charge forth and break through legendary limits.
After Qin Feng had yelled out that sentence, ‘True strength is the power I possess, the peak of immortality, the world of the prideful. That is where I stand!’ he had obtained the title of the strongest prodigy in Huang Gu. Hence, it was natural for him to become the target of choice of the other prodigies.
Now, the outcome was uncertain, and both of them had emerged as dark horses!
Yu Lan had originally intended to challenge Qin Feng before he could mature, but the skills he had shown earlier had caused her to hesitate now.
She had already heard of the match between Qin Feng and Yi Jian.
The Sky-Splitting Sword Technique was already terrifying enough with the buffs of the Indomitable Sword Heart and the third level of Sword Intent, but adding the God's Raiding Light of the Sovereign Bone, it was even more horrifying, enough to defeat Yi Jian’s Sky Sword Physique.
And it was rumoured that Qin Feng had yet to reveal his full strength and had only used the basic ability of his Dense Pupils so far, The mere ability that allowed him to slow down his perception of time was enough to horrify most people.
Still, Yu Lan didn’t know whether or not he had developed the other abilities of the Dense Pupils during these seven years.
“He shouldn’t have.”
Yu Lan’s brows were slightly furrowed. She didn’t believe it to be possible.
Qin Feng was only fifteen years old and had already broken unprecedented records of the past by awakening the Indomitable Sword Heart and the third level of Sword Intent. Added with his terrifying ability, God's Raiding Light, it was definitely impossible for him to find time to develop the new abilities of the Dense pupils.
That meant that he had already shown off his full strength in his fight with Yi Jian. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken such a great risk to break through in his cultivation during the dangerous Death Elimination Tournament.
Yu Lan believed in her assumptions the more she thought about it. It felt as though she could now believe in her chances of defeating Qin Feng.
Before her, Qin Feng’s mind was wandering elsewhere……
