My Younger Brother Is The Chosen One
Ch. 53 - Everyone is adults here, the matters of last night......

“Qin Feng, it’s Qin Feng!”

The surrounding spectators clamoured in shock.

In the wake of Ma Dai Guo’s earlier remarks, no one believed in Qin Feng. They thought that he would most likely not appear at the Death Elimination Tournament. But against all expectations, he ultimately still came.

“What’s going on?”

Qin Feng touched his own face in confusion. He couldn’t understand the reason behind the intense scrutiny everyone was giving him.

‘Had he suddenly become more strikingly handsome?’

“Is this rabbit your spirit familiar?”

The black-clad man approached Qin Feng’s side, his eyes keenly scrutinising Whitey, who was on Qin Feng’s shoulder.

According to the rules of the Death Elimination Tournament, there were no specific limitations in this tournament. Participants could bring along spirit familiars as they wished, as long as the strength of their familiars wasn’t exceptionally high, or they would be deemed as cheaters.

“En!” Qin Feng nodded.

“A rabbit?!”

The surrounding crowd couldn't help but exchange puzzled glances at each other. They truly couldn’t understand this strongest prodigy of Huang Gu.

Not only did he use underhanded techniques to advance through the trials but he even brought a rabbit as his companion in the Death Elimination Tournament. 'Was this all an act to mess around simply because he knew he couldn’t get a good final rank in this tournament?!'

“Ninth layer of the Phenomenal realm, participation granted!”

The black-clad man immediately saw through Whitey’s cultivation, which was completely identical to Qin Feng’s.

Unlike the others, he didn’t underestimate this cute rabbit because he could tell that this was a unique species of demonic beasts that possessed a terrifying potential and strength.

Adding its deceptively adorable appearance, anyone who underestimated this rabbit would greatly suffer at its paws.

“We now have nine participants, we’re just missing one!”

The black-clad man’s gaze swept across the crowd. He knew that the final person who had yet to make his appearance was Fang Chang.

“Would Fang Chang come?”

Princess Nan Feng looked around in anxiousness as she searched for Fang Chang’s figure.

After receiving the help of her two female servants, she wanted to search for Fang Chang to complain about her suffering, only to realise that he had already left. Furthermore, no one knew where he went.

“Does he still mind?”

Princess Nan Feng was extremely forlorn. This was all the fault of Qin Feng, that bastard.

Rumble!

A figure descended from the skies, heavily landing on the ground before the crowd.

“Fang Chang?!”

The crowd couldn’t help but exclaim in shock. They simply couldn’t believe their eyes.

Fang Chang’s hair was messily scattered, and he even had smoky makeup around his eyes. An extremely evil aura fluctuated from his body’s surroundings. The appearance he had now was like night and day compared to the bright and lively young man he looked like just the day before.

“Demonhood!”

Princess Nan Feng’s eyes widened in disbelief, a wave of dizziness washing over her, almost causing her to fall.

She couldn’t believe that Fang Chang had chosen to enter demonhood after just a simple kiss Qin Feng had forced onto her. Was his mind that fragile?!

The surrounding crowd sighed as they all felt sympathetic towards Fang Chang.

Entering demonhood could grant someone great strength for a brief period, but this strength could also easily cause someone to lose themselves and eventually become a true demon that revelled in killing. Their morality would be lost, and they would become the public enemy of Huang Gu.

“Demonhood?”

The brows of the black-clad man furrowed as a sense of unease gnawed at him.

Those who had entered demonhood were allowed to participate in the Death Elimination Tournament according to the rules, but the person in question was the Heavenly Youth Scholar of Great Xia, who was granted special permission to participate by the Emperor of the Six Daos. Was it truly okay for him to permit him to slaughter recklessly?

However, upon closer consideration, Fang Chang’s talent was incredibly terrifying. If he were to die in the Death Elimination Tournament, they could reduce yet another threat from the Great Xia Imperial Dynasty.

“Why does this feel like a recycled plot of a cheap show?”

Qin Feng scrutinised Fang Chang, and the more he looked, the cheaper he seemed.

“Qin Feng, I will rip you to shreds!” Fang Chang’s eyes were as calm as tranquil waters, yet a hint of killing intent lurked beneath.

In response, Qin Feng’s reaction was to turn towards Princess Nan Feng, speaking with immense emotion, “Everyone is adults here, we should pretend that nothing happened last night.”

“You……”

Princess Nan Feng was unusually furious in her reaction, but a hidden emotion flashed in her eyes

Huala!

The entire crowd buzzed with anticipation. They wanted Qin Feng to divulge more.

“Qin Feng!!”

Fang Chang almost experienced Qi deviation from this, and the surrounding ominous aura surged at the same time.

“Do you think I’m scared of you?”

Qin Feng was completely unafraid. Whether Fang Chang entered demonhood or achieved godhood, nothing couldn’t be solved with a bottle of [Even a Sow Would Go Crazy]. If not, then a hundred bottles would.

He had prepared more than a thousand jin of it for this Death Elimination Tournament.

“Everyone is here, the Death Elimination Tournament will now commence!”

The black-clad man, sensing the tense atmosphere between the two, hastily announced the commencement of the tournament. He made a swift, ritual gesture and pointed towards the sky with strength.

Rumble!

A black hole suddenly appeared in the sky, its strong suction power immediately dragged all ten individuals within itself.

And by the time Qin Feng finally opened his eyes after a wave of dizziness, he and Whitey found themselves at a remanent-like dimension. They were within a vast forest where the roars of demonic beasts resounded occasionally.

As per the tournament’s rules, killing different grades of demonic beasts would grant them varying amounts of points. The higher the grade, the more points earned. Killing other participants could also grant them the points that the target had accumulated.

The tournament would last for the next three days, and the participants with accumulated points ranked in the top 1000 would win.

“Is this the Life-and-Death Battlefield?!”

Whitey surveyed the surroundings on Qin Feng’s shoulder, failing to spot Fang Chang or the remaining nine other people. It seemed like they were randomly sent to the battlefield at different locations.

At the same time, it could sense a large number of terrifying demonic beasts in its surroundings. With just its and Qin Feng’s cultivation at the Ninth layer of the Phenomenal realm, they didn’t even have the qualifications to be cannon fodder here.

“Life and Death Battlefield—its fame doesn’t seem exaggerated.”

Qin Feng lowered his head, only to spot countless white bones scattered about. There were human ones, and there were also bones of demonic beasts. The entire battlefield was surrounded by a strange coldness.

Rumble!

A thunderous sound reverberated from a short distance away, accompanied by the clamour of a frenzied battle.

“There are already people fighting!”

Qin Feng looked over with furrowed brows and quickly turned in the opposite direction and ran.

Aside from the hundred thousand participants that had entered the battlefield, there was also a large group of demonic beasts waiting for an opportunity to pounce in their surroundings. Joining the battle now not only yielded meagre rewards, but they would also be swept into chaos.

It was best to avoid any battles in the early stages so that he could preserve his strength to go crazy and reap all the rewards at the end.

As the hundred thousand participants entered the Life-and-Death Battlefield, the large and small battle screens were all projected outside, eliciting ecstatic cheers from the onlookers.

The rankings became a battlefield as well, with participants chasing and evading one another.

However, Qin Feng, who was titled the strongest prodigy of Huang Gu, remained completely silent. Even after an entire day, his accumulated points stood at a mere 0, further solidifying the crowd’s belief in Ma Dai Guo’s critique that Qin Feng was indeed incapable of creating any great waves.

Occasionally, one or two screens would capture glimpses of Qin Feng, but they were sights of him hiding at the river with his rabbit, fishing. It seemed as though he had no intentions of participating in the Death Elimination Tournament, instead treating it as if he was on a leisurely vacation.

On the second day.

Qin Feng calculated the time and decided that it was about time.

“Are we going to fight now?!”

Whitey cried out in excitement, immediately helping Qin Feng to carry his Sky God Sword over.

“What have I taught you since you were young? Confucius said: ‘A gentleman is no specialist!’”

Qin Feng was furious. A true gentleman didn’t rely on weapons to kill their opponents.

That bunch of prodigies must be thirsty after an entire day of fierce battles yesterday. As long as they threw in a few jins of [Even a Sow Would Go Crazy] in the water sources, they could just sit and wait for the points to roll in themselves……
