Ch. 40 - Imploding

Outside of the Moon Goddess Palace.

A group of white-clad sisters rushed out angrily as they surrounded a burly man.

This man was the Heavenly Youth Scholar that had come to challenge Qin Feng, Zhu Tou. [1]

Seeing that Qin Feng didn’t come out to receive his challenge, he had started striking the doors of the Moon Goddess Palace as he shouted curses towards their Son of God.

He truly acted as though he was still within the Great Xia Imperial Dynasty, where the emperor supported them. However, this was the Moon Goddess Palace, a palace where a Heavenly Youth Scholar like him couldn’t act as he pleased.

“Presumptuous!”

The faces of the Moon Goddess Palace’s sisters were ice cold as they pointed their longswords towards Zhu Tou.

“Why? Qin Feng himself is too cowardly to accept this challenge, so all of you are bullying me instead?!”

Zhu Tou had an arrogant expression as he completely overlooked their actions.

He was one of the diplomatic corps from Great Xia, following the emperor’s orders to enter the country to watch the once-in-a-decade Death Elimination Tournament. The act of killing a Heavenly Youth Scholar like him was an open act of hostility to the Great Xia Emperor.

“So what if he’s the diplomat sent from Great Xia, I’ll teach him how to act like a human now!”

Zi Yuan was visibly upset, pulling up her sleeves as she readied to rush to battle.

The surrounding onlookers nodded in approval. They agreed with his words.

Qin Feng gestured towards his sisters, signalling for them to go ahead and battle Zhu Tou in a solo duel.

The surrounding onlookers almost spat out a mouthful of blood as one big fuck appeared in their hearts. This was completely different from the demeanour that they had imagined the strongest prodigy of Huang Gu would have.

The white-clad sisters had little care towards the fairness of it all as they loyally executed the commands of the Son of God. The sharp blades in their hands shone with dim reflections of rippling water as they attacked Zhu Tou.

Zhu Tou was furious, “Qin Feng, your shamelessness knows no bounds! The solo duel we agreed on is now a group battle!”

“Isn’t it correct? You’re solo duelling the group of us!”

Qin Feng had an innocent expression as he revealed his teeth in a bright smile.

The surrounding crowd was completely speechless at this point. None of them had expected Qin Feng to be such a person, without a single shred of resemblance to the strongest prodigy of Huang Gu.

Zhu Tou was no match for the white-clad sisters, and it only took a few moves for him to be beaten to the ground.

“I can’t accept this!”

Zhu Tou’s expression was full of fury.

“What does that have to do with me?”

Qin Feng rolled his eyes. This person was crazy.

Then, he took out a golden abacus and started to swiftly calculate the compensation Zhu Tou needed to fork out for damaging the Moon Goddess Palace. He quickly came to the total amount of a million highest-grade spirit stones.
