Chapter 1182: Chapter 847: A Super Secret Technique to Advance to Golden Immortal Without Using Spiritual Objects?!_2

It wasn’t that Wang Zijia lacked anchor points on the Baiqi Floating Island, but because it wasn’t a transit through the Chaotic Sea of Knowledge, Wang Zijia couldn’t easily enter and pass through the Great Array undetected.

The two looked around, confirmed their direction, and under Qi Baidao’s lead, they made their way directly to the hinterland of the Central Floating Continent.

Qi Baidao’s urgent visit illustrated the gravity of the situation, hence Wang Zijia received no warm welcome upon his arrival.

The two did not cause much of a stir either.

Instead, they rushed directly to the core of the Baiqi Floating Island.

With the Great Elder’s special permissions, they were given the green light all the way and eventually reached the forbidden area of the core pulse point deep within the sect.

······

The main spirit vein mouth of the Baiqi Sect and that of the Spirit Suppressing Pavilion are somewhat similar; both are Spirit Spring mouths.

However, the mouth of the Spirit Suppressing Pavilion is a Heavenly Pond atop a mountain, while the mouth of the Baiqi Sect is a Yin Pool, neither too large nor too small, nestled in a secluded valley surrounded by mountains.

The two stopped by the poolside, and with a brief signal from Qi Baidao, he took the lead and jumped into the pool.

Seeing this, Wang Zijia did not hesitate for long and followed suit.

Initially from above, Wang Zijia thought it was a cold and deep valley pool due to the strands of spiritual fog rising from the Yin Pool; he had not expected it to be a warm Spirit Pool!

Such a spirit vein mouth is indeed rare!

The Spirit Pool seemed quite deep, and the temperature increased as they went deeper; naturally, it had no effect on Wang Zijia given his current level of cultivation.

After a moment, when the two reached the bottom of the pool, Wang Zijia saw the bottom of the pool resemble a cracked volcanic landscape.

Amid the fissures of the rocks flowed terrifying red molten rock.

As it tumbled, an immense amount of liquid spiritual power surged out. Most was then confined to the bottom of the pool by an array, ultimately creating a layered underwater Spiritual Lake scenery at the pool’s base.

It was as if there was another pool at the bottom of the pool—a pool of Spiritual Liquid!

And at the center of the cracked molten rock Spiritual Lake sat a lavish little pavilion seemingly cast from spiritual crystals.

’Hss...Spirit Essence used as building material? Isn’t this just the cultivation world’s version of a house cast in pure gold? Another big shot!’

Wang Zijia felt somewhat exasperated looking at the underwater structure.

Qi Baidao, standing beside Wang Zijia, noticed his bewilderment and thought he found the building too ostentatious, explaining:

"This place was originally built for better cultivation breakthroughs when the spiritual energy had just revived and the external spiritual energy was insufficient."

"Later, when the spiritual power environment became abundant, it turned into our Ancestral Land, so it has been preserved until now, which might seem amusing to you, Fellow Daoist."

"Hehe!" Wang Zijia chuckled, looking at the seamless Spiritual Crystal Pavilion, and sincerely commented, "I think it’s quite nice, looks fortunate!"

Qi Baidao probably didn’t like this style much!

So he always felt something was off with the tone of Wang Zijia’s words. His mouth twitched for a moment, and without saying more, he brought Wang Zijia through the restriction beneath the bottom of the lake and into the little crystal Pavilion.

The Pavilion seemed small from the outside, but the interior featured expanded space with numerous rooms.

The two went straight to the central hall of the pavilion, where they found the object of their journey.

The patient...was beyond words!

It was a classic setup of an Ancient Alchemy Palace.

In the simple Great Hall, constructed from pure Spiritual Crystals, several elaborate, all-spiritual-crystal racks and Medicine Cabinets surrounded them.

On one side, the Medicine Cabinet compartments were much larger than usual, seemingly specially made for storing various rare minerals.

Another side featured enlarged ancient bookshelf systems, housing irregular Refining Materials.

And on the wall opposite the main gate stood a massive utensil rack, with several Immortal Tools that shone with Immortal Light, constantly being nourished.

At the center of the room hovered a Strange Hollow Pulse Point that cut through the ground.

Within it burned a bunch of Pure Golden Peculiar Flames, clearly a World treasure of a special fire governed by the rules.

Judging by the setup, there should originally have been an immense Eight Trigrams Furnace or a Square Cauldron for refining utensils or concocting pills at the center above the flames.

But now, that was gone, and instead, a strange object was suspended in the Void above it.

Or rather, their rescue and treatment subject was being tempered and sacrificed on it!

The object looked like a gigantic gourd, colored entirely in bronze. As the fire blazed, it seemed to have the consistency of Flesh and Blood, squirming. Within the squirming, blood vessels were distinctly visible.

On the lower half of the gourd, there appeared to be two strange, growing bottle bodies sticking to the sides, possibly legs?

On the upper half of the gourd, a twisted human face was in agony, with eyes filled with madness, yet a faint clarity struggling within.

As the eyes flickered, the surface of the gourd writhed with something that could not be determined to be either liquid bronze or fleshly mud, and bubbles emerged.

At the top of the gourd’s mouth seemed to be a variety of disgusting worms and maggots wriggling inside the gourd.

Judging from the different Skulls constantly emerging from the mouth, it seemed there was a rich species group inside, constantly fighting.

Much to Wang Zijia’s surprise, this uncanny entity, which he couldn’t tell if it was human or utensil, was constantly emanating the Charm of the Great Dao!

Could this actually be a golden immortal Big Shot?

Clearly...it’s undergoing a Dao, with Dao power spilling out and its Rank collapsing, hence the diffusion of such Dao Charm.

Wang Zijia felt a chill in his heart as he watched the scene, puzzled, "What is this?"
