Chapter 341: Chapter 341: Will You Spend the Night with Me?

Fu Chenlie glanced at her, shook his head slightly with effort, and then spoke: "A bit dizzy."

"Did you drink too much?"

"Just half a glass."

Wen Ran made a sound of acknowledgment, muttering softly: "Then your alcohol tolerance is really terrible."

He was displeased and couldn’t wait to clarify: "My alcohol tolerance is excellent."

"Then why are you dizzy?"

"The alcohol might be bad."

As soon as the words fell, the man suddenly realized something.

He turned around and cast a glance at Lu Jinglun, who was still standing where he was. The latter had a faint smile on his lips and raised the wine glass in his hand toward him, his expression carrying a hint of smugness.

The man furrowed his brows, his gaze gradually darkening.

Lu Jinglun’s arrogant demeanor—it was highly likely something had been added to the wine!

Fu Chenlie shifted his gaze to Wen Ran: "Did you drink?"

"No."

"We’re going home, you drive."

She obediently nodded: "Okay."

Wen Ran held onto his arm and led him towards the exit of the banquet hall. As they walked, she asked, "Is your dizziness serious? Should we go to the hospital to check, or have Dr. Liang come to the house and take a look?"

Listening to her chatter, Fu Chenlie only felt the discomfort growing worse, his mind filled with the image of her incessantly talking little lips.

He grabbed her hand, his voice strained as it escaped his thin lips: "Stop talking."

She was momentarily startled: "Huh?"

The man suppressed his voice: "Go home first."

Wen Ran felt that his condition was very off but couldn’t pinpoint the reason. Her small hand struggled briefly in his palm: "Husband, you’re hurting me."

He released her hand, a hint of guilt emerging on his face.

Wen Ran smiled at him: "It’s okay, it’s not a big deal."

Fu Chenlie saw her smile, and the idea of pinning her down and taking everything he wanted grew even stronger in his mind.

Around them, the noise of people chatting was deafening, accompanied by the clinking sounds of glasses meeting.

His thoughts were a mess, but he was aware they were still at the banquet.

The man swallowed hard, his voice growing deeper and hoarser: "Let’s go."

"Okay." Wen Ran supported him as they left the banquet hall.

By the car, she opened the passenger door for him and helped him into the seat. Seeing the fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead, she asked worriedly, "Husband, what’s wrong with you? Why are you sweating?"

As she spoke, she reached out to help wipe the sweat.

Her hand had just touched his forehead when the man suddenly grabbed it.

He stared at her delicate little face with his dark eyes: "I’m fine. Let’s go home."

"Oh, okay." She replied, glancing at his well-defined hand: "Then could you let go of me?"

Fu Chenlie resisted the urge to hold her hand tighter and released her. As the soft, boneless little hand slipped from his palm, his large hand immediately clenched into a fist, even tighter than before.

This agonizing, soul-stirring feeling was pure torment.

He inwardly cursed Lu Jinglun.

Using such filthy tactics on him—ha, some friend he was.

As Wen Ran sat in the driver’s seat, she still cast a worried glance at the man. While fastening her seatbelt, she said, "How about I take you to the hospital?"

"No need."

"But you look really uncomfortable."

Fu Chenlie forced his eyes open and turned to look at her.

When their gaze met, she was startled.

Because there was a primal, animalistic lust in his eyes as if he were about to devour her.

Wen Ran seemed to grasp something, and her words stuttered: "You... You didn’t drink something spiked, did you?"

Hearing her question, the man let out a faint chuckle: "You seem to know a lot."

"N-no, I don’t. You’re really not okay—let me take you to the hospital."

Fu Chenlie, battling his own restraint, repeatedly pressed against his temple: "No hospital. Just take me home—I’ll cool down with a cold shower."

She reminded him: "But it’s winter now."

He met her gaze, raising his eyebrows slightly: "Then what? Would you rather spend the night with me?"
