Chapter 994: 337. Mass-producing Holy Water is the right way to use the Holy Grail! -Added more【13/15】_3

For centuries, we have been incessantly arguing with our own brothers and sisters over the same faith.

"Oh Avalon above, this is so foolish."

"Then what are you waiting for?"

Murphy stared at the water in The Holy Grail of Woodland, which had completely transformed into an emerald green.

He narrowed his eyes and gave Natalie a push, shoving her from among the onlookers into the ceremony site, while he himself quietly retreated to the back of the crowd to avoid being caught for causing a disturbance and getting beaten up.

This sudden incident interrupted the highlanders’ singing and drew the unfriendly attention of those burly warriors towards the outsiders who disturbed the sacred ceremony; some hotheads had even grabbed the weapons at their waists or on their backs.

It was obvious that if Natalie didn’t give an explanation, they were going to give the Witch Hunter an "explanation."

The confrontation and conflict suddenly made the atmosphere at the site become very tense.

But as Natalie thought on her feet and raised the Big Oak Sacred Blade with both hands, the resonance between the inscriptions on the sword and the ancient runes on the rocks immediately caused the highlander elders to let out exclamations of surprise.

This was the first time they had seen such a phenomenon in the ancient heritage passed down through the generations!

So, this was another Sacred Artifact from the Woodland?

"I suggest you drink the water from The Holy Grail of Woodland."

Kudell, who had been observing The Holy Grail of Woodland, used his ventriloquist skills to say to Natalie:

"Though I do not understand why these highlanders’ rituals can resonate with the Holy Grail, I can confirm that the water in that Grail now is identical to the Holy Water I have drunk. All the conditions for becoming a Grail Knight have been met!

Now, you are standing before an oath that will last a lifetime!

As long as you keep it, you will continuously gain the strength to support your journey."

It was at this time that Murphy also said to the hesitant Natalie:

"If you want the highlanders to acknowledge you as their Exotic Lands sisters walking the same path, then obtaining the blessing of the ’Spirit of the Mountain Woods’ in their presence is clearly the most effective way to bridge the distance between both sides.

The centuries of grudges between the two sides will be alleviated by your one act.

What’s more, Natalie, without the Avalon Holy Grail, you can’t become a White Knight like your father, but I think it’s not a regret.

Perhaps becoming a Grail Knight of Avalon is also a fine choice.

You need strength to pursue the Twilight followers, and if the way of the Avalon Church is wrong, then I suggest you consider retracing the paths taken by the pioneers of the old days, and look for a way to rebuild your faith within the tradition of nature.

Drink it, Natalie!

You will become the bridge connecting the faith of Avalon and the highlanders."

"No, this is not the faith I follow, the teachings of Avalon to us are not such."

The Heartless Demon Huntress said through gritted teeth:

"If I drink this water, it will only make me fall into a path I do not believe in. It is a deceit to the Divine Spirit, I can’t do that."

"But it is indeed a good opportunity, my dear Shepherd of Avalon."

With a humph, Murphy said:

"With the support of the highlanders, your new Church will grow strong overnight—isn’t this what the Avalon God wishes to see? Moreover, you are the one among us who is most suited for tasting the strangely colored Holy Grail water.

You can’t expect Old Eugene or Mother Mary Ann, who are getting on in years, to drink it.

Don’t you know to respect your elders?"

"My God longs to see the flourishing of the faith, but certainly not in such a deceptive manner! I have my own plans."

Natalie refused Murphy’s suggestion.

She planted the Big Oak Sacred Blade into the ground and, under the gaze of the highlanders, lifted The Holy Grail of Woodland from in front of Count Shuren.

Indeed, she could feel that the Holy Water contained in The Holy Grail of Woodland emitted a soul-penetrating natural aura, blessed by the Avalon God in the guise of the Mother of Forest.

Merely by drinking it she could perhaps become a "saint" of the Divine Spirit.

However, Natalie ultimately did not do so; she had already chosen her path of strength.

She had to become a White Knight like her father, and not casually change her ideals to step onto another path that was unfamiliar to her.

In front of everyone’s gaze, Natalie loudly recited the name of Avalon God and passed the water from the cup to the Valande Knight beside Count Shuren.

She whispered a few words, and the Grey Vulture Knight looked stunned.

But then, looking to his lord, Count Shuren also heard Natalie’s explanation and persuasion, hence he nodded in support to his Guard Knight.

The Grey Vulture Knight, born on these Woodlands, took The Holy Grail with trembling hands, an event never before seen in the ancient rites of the highlanders.

"I swear!"

The burly Grey Vulture Knight shouted in the language of highlanders:

"I will vow with my surname and my honor to dedicate my life to the mountain woods of my ancestors. I will protect our homeland and our brethren and will personally retrieve what has been taken from this land.

May the Woodland witness!

I will fulfill my oath, to my dying breath!"

After saying this, the Grey Vulture Knight drank the contents of The Holy Grail to the cheers of the surrounding highlanders.

"Uh, actually, you didn’t need to drink that much."

Kudell whispered:

"The Holy Grail water contains vast strength; a sip would have sufficed. Drinking too much can be hard to digest, generally speaking, one cup of Holy Water is meant to be shared among ten people..."

This made Murphy’s face show surprise, after which he looked regretfully at the Grey Vulture Knight, who was already burping from guzzling the water meant for ten people, and covered his eyes, saying with pity:

"Uh, why didn’t you say so earlier! If I had known one cup of Holy Water could be shared among ten people, I’d have stopped him. That way, we could have blessed twenty warriors. Tsk, such a shame. What a good business opportunity gone to waste!"
