My Players Are So Fierce – Handsome dog Frank -

Chapter 851: 290. Approval from Winter Fox
The Blood Eagle Corridor was much livelier today than usual, probably due to the spawning of a new NPC.
Not to mention that Countess Ellen brought precious knowledge of steam engineering to players, just the firearms with special affixes and some unique engineering items she sold in her personal store were enough to catch the eyes of little gamers.
After all, in a game that strives for realism, even the proudest spellcaster players wouldn’t refuse to carry a gun in their bag that could save their lives at a critical moment.
Not to mention those melee fighters who always have to perform "dances on the blade’s edge," carrying a gun for hip-firing has become their consensus.
"Reed Swordsmanship" doesn’t sound too great, but it’s genuinely useful.
"Damn! Loyalty Bro, that mechanical left hand of yours is fricking cool!"
As Dog Paddle from the North of the Forest came to purchase firearms for the team, he browsed and picked, only to look up and see Loyalty Brother helping out Countess Ellen as a "Mechanic Apprentice," handling the parts.
"Haha, cool, right? I spent a fortune on this!"
Loyalty Brother was beaming with pride.
He proudly showed off his "mechanical left hand," which, operating under the Art System’s Spiritual Energy motion sensing, was very flexible despite being made entirely of metal and powered internally by three miniature steam furnaces as its energy source.
Although it still felt slightly sluggish compared to a body of flesh, Loyalty Brother’s fingers moved with ’click-clack’ sounds in the joints that still had a certain imposing force.
Especially when he increased the steam furnaces’ power for wide movements, white columns of vapor would blast from the exhaust ports on his shoulder.
It was oh so cool!
Which man could resist this kind of thing? Which man wouldn’t be fascinated upon seeing it?
Dog Paddle immediately leaned in and circled around Loyalty Brother a couple of times, even reaching out to touch it. The latter, like showing off a newly acquired toy, lifted his arm to deploy an assassination blade, extended the gun barrel hidden in the palm of his hand, and unfolded the Mechanical Buckler that came with the limb, performing several tactical maneuvers.
Watching this made Brother Dog Paddle exclaim in awe, and nearby young players also came over, marveling at the spectacle.
But soon, some sharp-eyed guy noticed something strange about Loyalty Brother’s right hand.
There was also a mechanical hand there, but far less sophisticated than the left arm’s. The rough three-claw structure resembled a Pirate Captain’s hook, reeking of crude construction no matter how you looked at it.
To this, Loyalty Brother refused any comment, dismissing it merely as "practicing steam engineering."
Of course, he wouldn’t tell anyone else that he had previously made a blunder by severing his own arm to fit a mechanical one, and if it weren’t for the spare mechanical hands available with Ellen, Loyalty Brother would have had to continue his gaming life as a "disabled person" or simply and neatly bring it to an end on his own forehead, waiting for a new life after three days.
But Loyalty Brother wasn’t just talking nonsense.
He was learning the technique of making mechanical hands from Countess Shuren, using his own right hand, lost due to an "accident," as the first experiment.
The only pity was that these contraptions were quite a hassle to make, just manually crafting a miniature steam furnace was enough to keep Loyalty Brother busy.
"New arrivals, make way, make way!"
Seeing that all the firearms on the counter had been sold out, Loyalty Brother promptly placed a new batch of finely-crafted weapons on the shelves as instructed by Countess Shuren.
Yet, when Traveler Little Wang who just came over to arm himself with a firearm saw the price, he jumped three feet off the ground and cursed:
"Dammit! A gun for 20 Gold Coins? Why don’t you guys just rob me? I can buy it for 2 Gold Coins at the camp, okay?"
"Then go buy it at the camp! Why come to me?"
Loyalty Brother, moving his cool mechanical hand, said with hands on his hips:
"Can you compare ordinary gear with these fun toys with affixes?
Let me tell you, you should consider yourself lucky. Nowhere else in Transylvania can you find someone else besides my master and I capable of crafting these precise firearms. Charging you 20 Gold Coins is already a bargain, alright?
If you really think it’s too expensive, you could always go to Mother Mary Ann for a custom order, hers are cheaper."
"They’re cheaper, but there’s a wait.
Traveler Little Wang helplessly scratched his head and said:
"Some of us are about to start work at the collective farm soon, and although we have guards for protection, it feels unsafe without good weapons in hand, especially here in Transylvania where Jackal and Wolf People run rampant, and occasionally a Ghoul might appear...
Forget it, 20 it is, then. Give me four!
Make the ammunition cheaper for me, give me a 30% discount."
"You got it!"
Loyalty Brother shouted heartily, marveling inwardly how easy it was to make money in manufacturing.
Count Shuren priced each gun at 15 Gold Coins. He bought them from her at cost, and by simply reselling them, he made a tidy profit of 5 Gold Coins per weapon.
Indeed, monopolizing business was exhilarating.
Having sent away the grumbling Traveler Little Zhou, who complained of profiteering, Loyalty Brother then picked up an unfinished diagram, clumsily using his mechanical hand to sketch with a charcoal pencil.
He himself had a hidden mission "Heavenly Fire from Another World." This guy was bent on creating something special for Sir Morphy. Although he had already completed the modern-style rifles and bullets, how could he showcase his brilliance if he stopped there?
He planned to come up with something "more remorseless" before the deadline of the mission. Now with Countess Shuren, the mechanic engineer’s help, many of Loyalty Brother’s previously unworkable ideas had a solid foundation for realization.
