Chapter 746: 255. Kill two birds with one stone? - Add more for "Brother Huo is pretty good" [5/20]_1

"This is the place! You can get to the sewer system of Crimson Castle by following the underground river from here."

The night after the Wolf People’s camp was attacked, next to a bend in the Kaderman River running through the Andma Hills, Hog, who was riding on a shaggy wolf, shrunk his head and said to the few Wolf Poison vanguards accompanying him:

"My tribesmen and I escaped from here, but I must remind you, they may have discovered this place already, and there are dangerous things on the third floor of the sewer system."

"We know, it’s just ghouls."

The leading Wolf Poison vanguard is a tall fellow, who resembles Jopan·Mark, who was killed by Murphy, if you look closely.

Especially the brutal gleam in his bearded face, which is exactly the same as Jopan’s.

He is Jopan·Mark’s half-brother from the same father, another son of Colando, named Stande·Collando·Gangguro.

Apparently, Lord Colando, though having become a vampire for over thirty years, still believes in the concept of "father and son fighting side-by-side", in addition to his several sons, he also has two daughters in his faction.

However, the Collando sisters are currently staying behind on Green Island to help their father manage his territory there, not participating in this operation in Transylvania.

"Since you guys are here, can I go back now?"

Hog looks scared.

It’s playing the role of a cunning but fearful weakling from the Wolf People very convincingly, so much so that the members of the Wolf Poison Clan could almost smell the fear in its heart. This causes these cruel fellows to laugh contemptuously.

"Go back? Where do you want to go back to?"

Stande sneered, grabbed Hog’s collar and pulled it down from the thin little wolf on which he was sitting, pointed at the concealed river pit not far away, and said:

"Your chieftain’s command is for you to lead us into the Crimson Castle for reconnaissance, how do I know you’re not trying to deliberately lead us to our deaths?

Go!

Lead the way."

"That’s not part of the agreement!"

Hog yelled but was slapped in the face twice by a female Wolf Poison hunter and became dizzy, the latter, who compared to the members of other clans has even sharper and fiercer wolf bat claws, pressed them against its throat and said coldly:

"Either lead the way! Or die!"

"King Kenbort wouldn’t allow you to do this..."

Hog wailed a few times in great grievance, but it had no choice but to call for its wolf steed to wait nearby, and then it was forced to lead the Wolf Poison vanguards back into the channel leading to the sewer of the Crimson Castle.

Its grievance was not faked.

Its fear was real too!

After all, the Wolf Poison vampires it had met were starkly different from the previous members of the Blood Vulture Clan in terms of style.

Even though it’s difficult for the Wolf People to understand the "grace" of civilization, it knows that the fellows around it are cold-blooded killers, who would not hesitate to take its life if it displeased them.

And Kenbort would never turn against the Wolf Poison Clan for the sake of a "disabled and weak" creature like it.

The more it is like this, the more Hog despises these bastards.

Not only does it despise the Wolf Poison vampires, but it also despises the stupid Kenbort who has big ambitions but little talent.

How could such a big fool lead the good Wolf People in Transylvania?

If the so-called "nobles" of the Dark Mountain Range are this stupid, then it’s no wonder that the Wolf People never managed to occupy the mainland despite waging four battles against the Black Disaster.

Power that isn’t restrained by wisdom can only harm others as well as oneself!

Meanwhile, in the Blood Eagle Corridor, Count Andrei, who was discussing the action plan with his subordinates, raised his head and saw the door to his room being pushed open.

Lady Adel stood at the doorway and gestured to him.

Count Bai of White Mountain immediately walked out of the room, and Lady Adel whispered in the shadows:

"The signal from the ’Pangolin’s’ Calculating Pearl indicates that it is approaching the Crimson Castle. It must be leading the Wolf Poison’s vanguards close to here. I don’t know how your preparations are going, but there’s no more time left for you to plan.

Begin your performance."

"Alright!"

Count Andrei, realizing the urgency of the situation, took a deep breath, sighing to Lady Adel:

"Please pass the message on to Sir Morphy, that I will be waiting for him at the Fight Club."

---

The Wolf Poison Clan’s vanguards, although brutal and still unable to shake off their uncivilized nature, are not stupid. After Hog led them into the underground tunnel, these fellows remained very cautious.

Their Grey Claw faction, in a nutshell, is characterized as "extreme" even among the notorious unprincipled Wolf Poison Clan.

They are eager for expansion and strength, and because they were originally from the ranks of violently tough city rogues, their actions have become even more radical with the relentless fear and desire brought on by the blood of Wolf Poison.

The Grey Claw faction possesses several cities of their own as territories on Green Island, but they are not satisfied, often instigating attempts to annex territories of other factions. They dislike being suppressed and stifled, which annoys Old Edward, thus they were assigned by him to the continent as the vanguard of the Wolf Poison Clan for the Black Disaster matters.

The way in which Colando managed to acquire the map of Wolf Poison Clan’s defense in the Kato area was also thanks to this duty.

After declaring loyalty to King Louis, the Wolf Poison Clan received rewards, with part of the Kato area being given to them as territory. As a new stronghold of the Wolf Poison vampires on the continent, Old Edward evidently planned to manage it well.
