Chapter 734: 251. Andre’s New Hobby - Add more for "Huo is pretty good" brother [1/20]_1

"Those noble ladies were so eager, I’m absolutely certain that when the party ended last night, Lady Natasha’s invitation to join her in the gardens was far from innocent. Her gaze was like she was starving and wanted to devour me whole!"

Would you believe it? I’m a game-playing bachelor of a certain age, and yet my appeal here seems to be quite significant."

Early the next morning on a carriage departing from Bataxin City, Wumeioge made a satisfied, smug expression, whispering to Yan Song sitting next to him:

"Oh, what a pity, we’re all a bunch of ’dead eunuchs’. Damn that Alpha Company. They certainly have the ability to include 18+ content, but they stubbornly refuse to! Not only do they refuse, they cruelly tempt us in novel ways, tormenting us like a relentless itch.

It’s infuriating."

"You’ve got to be joking, right?"

Yan Song looked around with a baffled expression, then leaned in to whisper something to Wumeioge. He held a finger to his lips, sporting a sly expression that made Wumeioge’s eyes almost pop out of his head.

"Holy crap! Can it really be done like that? How did I not think of it? You dude! Damn, I get the feeling you’ve accidentally stumbled upon an extremely horrifying BUG."

"Oh dear, I simply dabbled a bit, who would have known that it was actually possible..."

In an attitude full of nostalgia, Yan Song gently caressed his fingers and spoke softly:

"But there’s no way in hell I’d risk my game account on such a matter. When she invited me to continue with those seductive eyes, I immediately made an excuse and ran away. I won’t lie to you, I spent the whole night worrying about whether I’d be kicked offline.

I swear to God, I didn’t do it on purpose!

But the character models in this game are so damn realistic! In all senses of the word, it’s absolutely outrageous!"

"Hush, hush, hush, we can’t spread this around."

Wumeioge, looking somewhat scared, pulled Yan Song in and said:

"Don’t let others know about this! If word gets out and the developers find out that they missed this part of the 18+ content blockade, who knows what might happen."

"You think I’m an idiot?"

Yan Song said, curling his lips:

"I finally found such an amusing BUG, of course I’m going to keep it for my own enjoyment. Right now, you’re the only one who knows... as long as you keep quiet, and I keep quiet, no one else will."

"Good, then we agree to keep this secret together!"

Wumeioge raised his little finger in absolute seriousness. Yan Song, like a child, hooked his finger with Wumeioge’s. As for the innocent and shy student gamers, they were still in another carriage passionately discussing which female NPC was more attractive last night.

They were completely oblivious that they were still merely ’window-shopping’ while their companions had already gotten a taste of ’the real thing’.

Cheche was currently bragging about being invited to dance by two noble maidens, only to be scorned by the others. They all saw how he looked last night, utterly out of place and ridiculously naive.

But besides these cheerful gamers who were still thrilled about their ’worldly experiences’, on the return trip, the caravan had involuntarily gained a few additional large carriages, all filled with coffins.

Those were the die-hard members of the White Mountain faction of the Thorn Clan, who vowed to follow Governor Miriam back to Crimson Castle to meet up with Count Andrei.

Miriam was also keen to return and report her achievements to Murphy, hence the caravan was travelling at a quick pace.

The Crimson Castle administrative office too, had upgraded their weapons, switching from bird shot to cannon. After acquiring 500 Demon Hunting Warhorses turned in by the Witch Hunters, even the carriage-pulling horses were replaced with stronger breeds. At this speed, they should be back at the Crimson Castle by midnight tonight.

Almost at the same time, in the "Diplomatic District" of Crimson Castle’s Blood Eagle Corridor, Count Andrei was discussing the specifics of the task he had just "acquired" with his most trusted subordinate.

But because it was daytime and dawn was fast approaching, Andrei’s devoted servant Vista was finding it somewhat hard to concentrate. Overcome with unbearable drowsiness, he had no choice but to gulp down cup after cup of hot tea, but it didn’t seem to help much.

Andrei himself, despite the occasional yawn, seemed to be faring much better than Vista.

Perhaps Murphy’s previously introduced "Day Walker" tricks actually did have some merit?

"So now the issue is, we have an operative codenamed ’Pangolin’, a Wolfman spy, who has managed to establish connections with the Wolf Poison Clan. He will guide the Wolf Poison Clan into Crimson Castle."

Andrei looked at the map of the sewer system’s three floors laid out before him, squinting his eyes as he said:

"We must seize this opportunity and continue to expand our advantage so as to finally trick these Wolf Poison bastards into the lethal trap we’ve prepared for them, and then destroy them with one swift strike!

It sounds simple, but the implementation could pose some real challenges."

"Indeed, Master."

Vista yawned, speaking lowly beside the Count:

"Our biggest problem is our lack of manpower. Although your dozen or so servants are absolutely loyal, they are bold warriors who have voluntarily joined the Thorn Clan from the ranks of royal servants. But in matters requiring shrewdness and cleverness, they are no match for the cunning Blood Eagles. They’re fine with fighting and killing.

But for a strategy requiring wisdom... we need to select someone else."

"This problem will soon be solved. The core members of the White Mountain faction will arrive soon, and we will meet them tonight."

Andrei took a sip of his royal tea and waved his hand:

"Being ousted from the public eyes by the Grand Duke doesn’t seem to be such a bad thing after all. Those unsteady opportunists have voluntarily left, leaving only the loyal subjects we can trust! I suddenly feel that our previous thought process was somewhat flawed, Vista.
