The "Ghoul Riot" event that refreshed tonight has gradually hit its climax, with its popularity on the forums undiminished.

Especially for those poor fellows who were swarmed and killed by hordes of frenzied ghouls in this nearly unforseen random event.

In search of some sense of involvement, while other small players were holding off against ghouls and resentful spirits in the sewers and the city, they too were furiously typing on the forums as a form of "encouragement", led by a group headed by Wumeioge.

Normally, this six-member squad is among the top player teams at present and even when faced with dangerous elite assaults, they wouldn’t likely end up biting the dust so easily. However, the problem was that this group of fellows, under the leadership of Dust Beater, blew open the rock wall of the underground hollow from a weak point in the sewer.

Such a reckless move led them to directly face the onslaught of thousands of ghouls; naturally, there was no hope of escape in such a situation.

Even under the watchful gaze of Avalon’s Boss, they couldn’t survive in this desperate situation.

However, the darkest humor of all was that all six of the strongest fighters were killed while Dust Beater and Brickmover – these two weak administrative characters – somehow survived against the odds.

The four veterans who were protecting them were alert enough and strong enough to make a difference.

The moment they realized something was wrong, they forcibly dragged Dust Beater and Brickmover out of the sewer at the fastest speed. Meanwhile, Wumeioge’s group, due to their reckless nature, wanted to see what exactly was hidden in the pit below and thus delayed for a few minutes which cost them their lives.

But it doesn’t matter.

After all, lives are "consumables" among these small players—every three days they get a new one.

Meow King: [Damn it! That was my first blood! I died out of the blue and I’m heartbroken! I lost all my good gear there! I left my land deed in my backpack, a blood lost in this round!]

Black Silk below the keyboard: [It’s okay. I was the last to die. I removed all of your spiritual energy packages and hid them in the rock crevices, so after we resurrect, we can go collect them, or ask Stick Brother to get them for us.

No need to worry about the equipment!

Those ghouls wouldn’t steal your gear, just wait until the random event ends and go pick it up again.

What I care about is whether anyone saw the actual situation in the tunnel when we died?

All I saw was a hive-like large dissolution cave with corpses, ghouls, and resentful spirits moving about inside, just like a damn beehive demon lair. ]

Ring Attack Day One: [There were people in there! Many of them! I saw very clearly, those fellows dressed in tatters like slaves were working in those holes, and some were moving corpses. @Succubus Old Qu, Brother Qu, your perception is the highest, did you see anything else?]

Succubus Old Qu: [When I was drowned by ghouls, I seemed to see Civilian Protection Officer Kudell coming down from another waterfall. I don’t know if my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Is this a new dungeon or something?

I feel like it’s not as bugged as the Blood Eagle Corridor, but it’s plenty enough for a five-man Hero Dungeon, I reckon this might be a dungeon that the development team especially made for black iron players.

It’s getting tougher and tougher! ]

Roar of the Lion in Hedong: [You didn’t imagine it, Officer Kudell did indeed go down. We, the brothers were drafted by him and after you guys were killed, we saved over twenty kids and brought them up. We originally wanted to rush down to help, but there were just too many cadaver-eating ghouls, we were surrounded and couldn’t escape.

But it’s okay, Sir Morphy and Natalie the president are already coming with reinforcements.

Damn, I feel like I killed at least forty to fifty ghouls, I was so tired I didn’t want to do anything else but swing my sword, this must be the infamous ’Can’t survive without fighting’ situation. Anyway, my whole body is numb!

He previously theorized that in this kind of situation, the interior of the dissolution cave would likely be a honeycomb structure formed by water erosion, turns out he was right!

Meow King: [Indeed impressive! But has the Old Professor mentioned anything about whether there’s an exit outside that hole? Given the current terrain, if a group of elite corpse-eating ghouls barricade there, the main force won’t be able to get down at all. ]

Brickmover: [Old Chen is a master, not a psychic... It’s already incredible that he could deduce there was a dissolution cave hidden there. Without doing field research, how can he possibly know whether there’s a second exit?]
