Chapter 1445: 487. The exhibition hall is open to visitors only!

"It’s snowing, such a heavy snowfall. It makes me think of the night you picked me up..."

Murphy hovered in the snowy night sky, looking down at the snow-cloaked Crimson Castle, and said to Triss beside him:

"I still don’t know why you picked me up that night when I was almost dead. Was it just because you felt I was handsome and it would be a pity if I starved to death on that dismal night?"

"Pfft, shameless, who praises their own looks?"

Triss extended her arms in the air to catch the snowflakes and retorted with a poker face:

"Your thick skin, even among the generally shameless vampires, is quite remarkable. Just think I had a moment of kindness that night. But this snow is indeed heavy. According to Transylvania’s weather in previous years, there should be at least three more snowfalls in the next two months, and then the colder early spring will come.

What’s worse for this year, when early spring arrives, this land will face another challenge.

However, the Wolf People living in the Dark Mountain Range don’t like to move in the cold climate, so if all goes well, their entrance into Transylvania will be delayed."

"They won’t be able to enter!"

Murphy said with full confidence:

"We will hold them at the Wasteland Mountain defense line. At the very least, we won’t let them breach the Swamp! My territory has finally started to improve, I won’t allow those savages to destroy it."

"It’s good to be confident..."

Triss hesitated for a moment, but still didn’t voice her concerns.

Murphy didn’t care about Triss’s tendency to think the worst, he took out his broken pocket watch to check the time, then turned to Triss and said:

"The clean-up operation in the Swamp Forbidden Area should be over by now. I planned to go have a look tomorrow, but it’s a pity to sleep in with such a beautiful snowy night outside. So, my dear Lady Triss, may I have the honor of inviting you to join me on an adventure to the Creator’s Land tonight?"

"Sure."

Triss gladly accepted.

She was very interested in the Creator’s Land hidden in the swamp.

Had the key to enter it not been in Murphy’s hands, the powerful Spiritual Overlord wouldn’t have cared about that so-called "martial law enforcement," and would have dashed in for a walk the moment she found it.

Triss’s formidable power was the basis that guaranteed her recklessness without actually dying. In this respect, the Crimson Witch was rather crafty.

During her destitute hundred years, she was not seen recklessly adventuring but instead cooped up in a shabby yard in Cardman City as a homebody.

Clearly, Triss’s understanding of "safety" was definitely an advanced version.

She had already recorded the location of the Swamp Forbidden Area. Now, holding Murphy’s wrist tightly, she disappeared on the spot in the transport glow, and after a few seconds of traversing through the Star Realm, re-entered the material world at the bare hill below.

The heavy snowfall of Transylvania clearly didn’t reach here, while the temperature outside drastically plummeted, the swamp’s stable ecosystem would not be disrupted.

Murphy awakened the all-encompassing device in his hand, which entered the form of the Star Realm Guide Staff, and he walked forward leaning on this oddly-shaped metal Magic Wand, with Triss closely following while casting various protective Spells on herself and Murphy.

This time as Murphy stepped into the passage leading into the mountain, the pop-up prompt on his character card proved the internal blockade of the area had been lifted, so the Vampire Lord confidently strode forward.

After proceeding downward past the stone staircases for several minutes, the sight of metal staircases and a massive blast-proof door instantly narrowed Murphy’s eyes.

Whoa, the style has completely changed!

Suddenly transitioning from a medieval fantasy setting to exploring a suspected "prehistoric technology ruin" with a Vampire Miss, Murphy was sure, if he opened this area up to his little players, they would certainly exclaim it’s unscientific.

And now it seems, the mystery of the so-called "creator" must indeed be related to "future technology," after all, just look at this iron door with a modular design that definitely weighs a thousand tons, it can’t possibly have anything to do with Spiritual Energy secrets, right?

Not to mention, those few things floating at the edge of the door... Hiss! Are those cameras?

Damn.

Pretty high-tech.

Murphy snarked inwardly. As he and Triss approached the blast-proof door, three hovering devices mounted on the metal walls flew rapidly towards them.

Their insect-like casings opened with a click, revealing blue glowing lights, prompting Triss to vigilantly draw her Nocturne Wand, but she was restrained by Murphy’s extended hand.

"It’s just a detection scan, no worries."

He whispered softly and then held up the all-encompassing device in his hand.

This thing was a legacy left by the creator; it was bound to link up with the Creator’s Land in front of him, plus Murphy also had the title of Administrator Alpha.

Even if it came to the worst, there shouldn’t be any hostile reactions here, right?

Under Murphy’s watch, one of the Iron Beetle-like devices halted in front of him. The Vampire Lord even waved at it amicably. The device’s casing opened, and something resembling a flashlight popped out and targeted.

"Whoosh"

A pale blue beam emitted, scanning Murphy from head to toe, and next to the Iron Beetle, a blue light screen projected Murphy’s body scan info in parameter form.

Murphy then tragically found that his blood platelets were at only one percent of a normal person’s level, indicating his blood was completely unable to coagulate naturally.
