Chapter 1415: 477. Murphy’s Gold Challenge - Trial Edition_2

Logically, a battle between a severely injured legendary creature and a Golden Warrior is an unfair fight, but King of Bone Biting’s weakness doesn’t allow it to quickly end the slaughter.

An eerie tug of war unfolded between a large and a small dangerous skeleton-level BOSS; he keenly realized that he might not be completely powerless.

However, it’s still too early for the players now.

Neither King of Bone Biting nor Ningkinanka possesses the force to be reckoned with; just now, Big Shark Bob tried to leap in for an easy pick but was torn apart by a swipe from King of Bone Biting as he approached.

Baldy, the vampire Martial Monk, even used survival techniques taught by Lord Turner to enhance himself with the Warrior Monk’s Qi, yet he did not even have the chance to transform into a bat and escape.

Such clean, decisive kills extinguished the thoughts of others; they believed this absurd damage could only be "scripted killing." Thus, using the battle between the Swamp Giant Snake and King of Bone Biting as a cover, they began their group charge at the already faltering Wizard Tower.

In this chaotic catastrophe, the Jackal Warlocks from the Pestilence Clan completely lost the will to fight till death; they began to flee, but the players wouldn’t allow them to leave alive.

Battles erupted everywhere in the collapsing chaotic Pestilence Town, with no regard whether one was an elite player or a novice; in the chaos, rushing at any monster was absolutely no problem.

Pestilence Town’s defensive stronghold crumbled in that moment, leaving Lame Claw with no choice but to flee as well.

The crazed constructor released all the bizarre constructs from his tower like a "Death Creature Exhibition," tossing the already chaotic town into further disarray.

"Phemys, a binding spell!"

Murphy surveyed the battlefield below, calling the young lady into action.

The Wizard Tower, hit several times by the Swamp Giant Snake, had temporarily misaligned its control over Spiritual Energy, finally freeing up the young lady from maintaining the counteracting Spiritual Energy.

Understanding Murphy’s intention, she erected a wall of crimson Spiritual Energy bindings toward the tower, temporarily blocking those howling dangerous constructs, giving the players enough time to breach the Wizard Tower.

"Murphy, don’t go down there! That Gold Tier skeleton is dangerous!"

The young lady also didn’t forget to warn:

"I know you can defeat silver-level enemies, but this one is not on the same level as others; let the Swamp Giant Snake wear it down! Those vampire hearts can’t sustain a Gold Tier skeleton in such intense battles for long."

"I’m well aware of that."

Murphy responded:

"That’s precisely because it can’t sustain such intense battles for long that I want to experience what it feels like to fight a Golden Tier enemy ahead of time. Besides, our Swamp Giant Snake seems to be losing its strength.

The poor creature is already too weakened; if I don’t think of something soon, it might indeed die here."

"That’s a legendary creature, Murphy!"

The young lady said helplessly:

"The life and death of such advanced beings is not for you to decide; please don’t act recklessly, I’m begging you."

"It used to be like that, but now I’ve found that it might indeed have some connection to me."

Murphy sighed.

He isn’t just talking nonsense...

Look, the Swamp Giant Snake has been living in the restricted area for over a thousand years, and there clearly is a "potential exploration area" left by the creator for Alpha.

If there’s no connection between these two, Murphy could perform a three thousand six hundred degree backflip of high difficulty right here in front of the young lady.

Regrettably, this is ultimately a secret that cannot be revealed to others.

"Triss is already on her way; I must ensure this desecrated skeleton does not interfere with the current smooth progress of the battle."

Murphy breathed out, watching below as King of Bone Biting clambered onto Ningkinanka’s severely injured back ready to tear open the fatal wound; he hesitated no longer, folding his wings in classic "death from above" nosedive toward the roaring Swamp Giant Snake.

"Bang"

King of Bone Biting’s sharp claws tore through poisoned flesh, ready to wildly devour its sustenance when hit by a shadow.

Amidst the powerful impact of Wolf Kiss Slash, the Jackal Warlock king faltered and got thrown to the ground by the struggling Swamp Giant Snake, Murphy quickly followed up with another Night Bat charge, but the Gold skeleton blocked it with unbelievable nimbleness delivering a deadly counterattack.

Nevertheless, it missed.

Murphy, with perfect bat swarm dodging, evaded the claw and reappeared ten steps away; a necessary evil echoed with a shaking tail came howling, only for King of Bone Biting to slam him away with a swipe of its claw.

The two stood on opposite sides of the corrosive blood-dripped land beneath Ningkinanka.

Facing each other under the giant beast’s shadow, before they could launch another attack, the Swamp Giant Snake roared and triggered an Earthquake Skill, tearing open fissures in the ground of Pestilence Town’s center.

Bricks flew as Murphy soared searching for his foe, unsuspecting of the wolf claw striking from behind; the Gold skeleton broke through, its claws piercing Murphy’s shoulder, hurling him like a meteor to the ground.

Just three moves, and Murphy was bleeding.

Clearly, even a weakened Gold skeleton was not an opponent he could handle now, not to mention the constantly chaotic attacks from the Swamp Giant Snake adding more trouble.
