Chapter 1413: 476. Lame Claw and its "King of Bone Biting"_3
This scene seemed like an equal exchange between vampires and legendary creatures, imbued with a sense of ritual against the backdrop of utter chaos and turmoil.
And this shameless one even activated the recording function of the Calculating Pearl, capturing this imagery steeped in religious symbolism into his own Treasure Bead, planning to upload it to forums later.
However, the Swamp Giant Snake was having none of it.
The gemstone scales on its body erupted in a dazzling light, not only pulling Gebao into instant blindness but also sending anyone engulfed by the light straight to their doom.
Ningkinanka, enraged at the theft of its egg, had already lost all sense, its partially severed tail sweeping across like a Siege Hammer, effortlessly knocking down a section of the outer wall of the Pestilence Town, and the subsequent Earthquake Skill and war stomping tore a small gap in the ground, unsurprisingly taking Gebao with it.
The intensity of this attack far exceeded his limits of endurance.
But this terrifying wave of destruction also directly alerted Lame Claw, who was still in charge of defense within Pestilence Town.
The corpse constructor, dressed in a new "outfit," stood beside a window of the Wizard Tower, staring at the fearsome Swamp Giant Snake outside the town, its eyes rolling about without focusing on a single point.
To speak of fear, it didn’t really have much.
It was already dead, after all.
And it was also severely mentally ill; to it, fear was merely a "bad friend" in its mind.
Lame Claw’s stupor was only because it keenly noticed the incurable wound on the "World BOSS" Swamp Giant Snake that had been lured here; that purplish strange scar made Lame Claw realize the snake’s life wouldn’t last much longer.
"What a great material!"
Lame Claw exclaimed:
"If I could get this corpse, I could create an undead beast of my own, how wonderful... Too bad, no chance now, unless I release the King of Bone Biting... Right! I can free the King of Bone Biting!
I can let it go kill this giant snake and by the way wipe out all the bastards attacking us, yes, just need to wait for night to fall."
This madman hadn’t realized what the players were planning to do by luring the giant snake to Pestilence Town; by the time its chaotic mind caught up, it was already too late.
Cheche, carrying the huge egg, rushed into Pestilence Town through the Spiritual Energy rift opened by Phemys.
He didn’t care at all about the evil traps littered on the ground behind him, his journey sparking and crackling nearly triggering all the traps along the way, and the Swamp Giant Snake following him didn’t care about those cold, glinting things on the ground either.
With a howl, it crashed through the Pestilence Town’s west gate and walls, its massive and heavy body crushing a bunch of traps the moment it stepped into the town.
A cold wind picked up, and the bone-constructed Gates of the Netherworld suddenly swung open.
The Netherworld guards, wielding the Reaper’s Scythe, charged into the material world with their ghostly sentinels, intending to harshly punish those fools disrespectful of death.
Then, they saw the giant footpads of the muddy behemoth falling from the sky.
Against the incredibly terrifying size of the Swamp Giant Snake, all notions of Netherworld dignity and the path of death were rendered meaningless. A few Netherworld guards that had just entered the material world hadn’t even started flexing their might when they were crushed underfoot by the Legendary Creature, and rolled back to the Netherrealm utterly defeated by the rampage of the Earthquake Skill.
Any rational person should be staying far from the enraged behemoth at this point, but the players obviously had no fear of death.
Seeing that the students had lured the giant snake to the town as planned, even the usually rational Master Yang got a bit fired up, leading the lone players on the western front, howling with rifles and melee weapons in hand, roaring as they followed the giant snake into the rubble of the town.
Some even lucky fellows picked up the Reaper’s Scythe that had been shattered from the hands of the Netherworld guards.
Hey!
This thing was an authentic product birthed by the Netherworld! Much better than the counterfeit crafted by the black-hearted smithy, this raid was not in vain!
"I have to throw it into the Wizard Tower!"
Right now, Cheche had nothing else on his mind but that one thought!
All his companions were gone, and the final task fell on him, but the Spiritual Energy defense around Wizard Tower was incredibly thick, completely impeding any attempt to enter from outside, driving Cheche to scratch his head in frustration.
As the giant snake approached, if he didn’t act and the snake got away with the egg, what then?
In a moment of desperation, he picked up the Magic Wand and banged it against the highest window of the Wizard Tower, naturally smashing against the Spiritual Energy barrier and even the recoil twinging his wrist.
"F*ck!"
Cheche yelled and cursed loudly.
He could already feel Ningkinanka amassing its venomous rain, once that large-scale attack fell, there would be nothing left of him but bones.
For him to die would be trivial; but if this backup plan also failed after coming this far, wouldn’t that make him an eternal sinner?
Once more!
Cheche gritted his teeth, raising his Magic Wand and striking again at the window sealed by Spiritual Energy before him, he could even see some odd Jackal Warlock standing behind the window, mocking him.
Even the damn thing’s eyes were strange, the two eyeballs not focused in the same direction, exuding a sort of "Crouching Dragon, Hidden Phoenix" "elegance."
"Go to hell!"
The vampire, his temper flaring, roared as he swung his Magic Wand.
The scene made Murphy, who was floating behind Cheche, shake his head, thinking to himself, this player’s mental state is still lacking.
At this point, couldn’t you just place that egg on top of the tower?
Why the insistence on formalism?
Youngsters really do panic when facing situations.
"Whoosh"
An embodiment of a necessary evil suddenly took action, transforming into a black streak that grazed past Cheche’s shoulder and stabbed straight ahead.
Under the undeniable sharpness of a miracle and the demon-banishing blade, the Wizard Tower’s thick defenses were torn open, leaving a bright slit from which sparks flew, and Lame Claw was startled.
It felt the malice of the necessary evil aiming directly for its head and quickly retreated.
But with the breach in the defenses, Cheche, to his great delight, charged into the top room of the tower with the giant egg on his back.
As he scrambled up from the floor, he picked up the giant egg behind him and waved at Lame Claw who had summoned resentful spirits and was prepared to surround him.
Cheche shouted:
"Hey, dumbass, here’s a gift for you, catch!"
"Bang"
The stone egg, hurled at him, struck right at Lame Claw’s chest, causing the Necromancer to stumble, while Cheche, grabbed by several resentful spirits, was lifted into the air, screaming wildly, then had his Blood wings torn open and was hurled straight down from the fifth floor.
However, the very next second, to the soundtrack of Cheche’s drawn-out agonizing scream...
"Bang"
Ningkinanka’s frenzied collision caused the entire Wizard Tower to shudder.
Lame Claw turned around blankly, only to see the black opal-like eyes of the giant snake peering through the tower top window, its gaze ultimately resting on the giant egg in its arms.
Lame Claw, despite its uncontrolled manic thoughts, felt a chill.
Damn!
Set up.
"Roar!"
The roar of the giant snake, filled with ultimate killing intent, left the corpse constructor with no other thoughts, and almost immediately, it snatched a bone talisman from its waist and fiercely smashed it to the ground.
The moment the talisman shattered, the seal of another Necromancer Tower stored away for several days also slowly began to open.
As the seal outside the Necromancer Tower became ineffective, the thick stone door was smashed open entirely, and amid the explosive noise of bricks and stones, a terrifying figure sprang forth, targeting Lame Claw’s call, and launched a devastating attack at Ningkinanka.
The first swipe tore open a gash in the severed tail of the giant snake, which made Murphy, who had been enjoying the show from the air, immediately retreat a few dozen meters.
Upon seeing the shadowy figure wrapped in darkness furiously pouncing toward the giant snake, Murphy instantly pulled out his sword-staff, simultaneously signaling to Triss in Crimson Castle:
"Wife! Hurry and save him! These Jackal pieces of crap have created a Gold Stage giant zombie! If I’m not wrong, it must be the King of Bone Biting..."
"What? What did you say? Say that again! Who did they create?"
