Chapter 1379: 465. Blaze a trail on the Ashen Path where no one has stepped before_3

Listen to this!

Savor it, how thrilling is this! What sane admin could resist such temptation?

"Take off!"

At the last moment, Yan Song lightly checked the number of people.

He unexpectedly found that they seemed to have a few more people than when they set out, but this was not the time to discuss that.

The scheduled time had arrived, and Yan Song was the first to take off, riding on a Wind Eagle.

As the only player among all with real-life "bombing" experience, he naturally became the vanguard of tonight’s flight squadron.

Of course, what Yan Song meant by "bombing experience" was his experience spreading pesticides while piloting special aircraft in the Great Northwest. Although it lacked a bit of the coolness and heroic spirit compared to bombing, at least the thought process for the operations was the same.

You still had to calculate lead, still dive, still maintain stability.

Rounding up, doesn’t that make him a professional "bomber pilot"?

"The airspace ahead is clear! No stars, no moon tonight! I wish you all a victorious flight!"

The Tiger Leopard Cavalry Brothers on the ground shouted in unison. Then amid the roaring sound of wind caused by hundreds of vampires flapping their wings simultaneously, rows of vampire bombers began to take off one after another. Brother Meow’s team, who had flying mounts, was already waiting above the swamp, scouting out the bombing targets in advance.

"Damn! Standing on the ground didn’t feel like much, but carrying these air-to-surface missiles while flying is really tiring."

A few minutes after taking to the sky, Cheche’s grumbles started to echo in the midst of the dark "flight squadron," but before he could complain too much, he was reprimanded by the sports student Catch Shrimp next to him:

"Shut it! We’re carrying out a military operation here; you need to be serious, kiddo. If something goes wrong, you’ll be facing a military court."

"Tch, you think I’m scared? Military court? How many divisions do they have?"

Cheche rolled his eyes but ultimately refrained from continuing his complaints.

As one of the first players to enter the game, he knew to maintain his dignity even in discomfort.

Cheche was well-calculated; he had been immersed in the Black Iron Tier for a long time. Although he was a Psychic and always complained about his potential bar being stuck at 30% and not going up, in reality, a vampire like Cheche was considered a qualified elite in Sir Morphy’s eyes.

Though they were inferior to NPC vampires in terms of attributes, their fearlessness and ability to learn made their actual combat abilities not much worse than those of Black Iron Tier vampires.

"We’re about to enter the northern front enemy-occupied zone! Seven minutes to the first bombing area. The first squadron, prepare for bombing!"

Yan Song’s deep voice echoed through the temporary team chat. He commanded:

"After the formation changes in a moment, follow me and maintain a distance of about 500 meters. When my guide incendiary bomb lights up on the ground, everyone maintains a steady flight and silently counts to five, then dive and bomb around the guide bomb!

This is your first time doing this, so don’t even think about precision bombing.

We’re pursuing area damage.

Last reminder!

The safe explosion altitude for Burning Gold incendiary bombs is around 150 meters. Immediately climb after dropping the bombs! Got it?"

"Understood!"

All the players responded powerfully in the darkness, and trailing at the end, Murphy cheerfully measured his missiles from left to right. Just thirty seconds before reaching the bombing area, Murphy suddenly spotted a sneaky figure also hiding among the crowd.

"!!!"

The Vampire Lord leaned in, and after careful recognition, he exclaimed in shock:

"Little Sheron? What are you doing here?"

"Murphy?"

The Xike Countess, called by her name, was startled as well.

She maintained a transformation illusion, disguising herself as an unremarkable vampire at the moment. She looked at Murphy, who was also disguised, with surprise and said:

"I just came to support them... What about you? Why are you here?"

"Here to support as well."

The Vampire Lord dragged out his tone:

"Just enjoy watching the show, why all the secrecy?"

"Hmph."

Count Shuren pouted, refusing to admit that she had become a seasoned enjoyer of fun, lured by the antics of the little players.

She shifted her shoulders and, looking forward to the dive-bombing Yan Song and the first group of vampire bombers who were also reducing their altitude closely behind, she adjusted her goggles and said:

"I just want to see how powerful the things I made with my own hands are, that’s all."

"Alright, alright."

Murphy shrugged nonchalantly, descending through the air at ease. While scanning the ground for targets, he said:

"How about we capture a few Necromancers in the chaos?"

"Eh?"

Little Sheron looked at Murphy, then listened to the explanation of the Vampire Lord:

"I heard that my warriors almost captured the ancestor of General Baldwin who died over 300 years ago. That made me realize there might be some truly ’valuable’ targets among the undead disturbed by the Jackal Warlocks.

We will definitely conquer Plague Town, but how to handle these sensitive individuals is something we need to start considering now.

First, let’s capture a few Necromancers for interrogation; ideally, we can compile a list."

"Mm, good idea."

Little Sheron began a standard death descent.

When descending from a kilometer high in the air down to a few hundred meters, with her head pointed downwards, she twisted the buckle around her waist. At this altitude, she could even see the Necromancers below raising their staffs towards her. Yet, the airborne missiles, released to gather momentum and heed the call of Mother Earth, accelerated fiercely, carrying a sharp and ominous wail as they plummeted towards the dark ground below, now blooming with bursts of flame.

Murphy, beside her, also executed a precise and perfect dive bombing.

But his target was even more valuable; he saw the illuminated position where the Skeleton Army was alight, the Necromancers attempting to teleport out, and the Netherworld Knights charging around, and he sent his "gift" on its way too.

"Boom"

The massive shockwave brought up the blindingly bright fireballs of explosions, amidst the unsettling night, within the rise and fall of deathly howling, sweeping everything Murphy watched into the inferno.

Within the illuminated sky, he could hear the wild shouts and ghastly howls of the little players, like a horde of devils from Exotic Lands dancing wildly atop ignited ruins.

So Murphy laughed as well.

Looking down upon the swamp below that no one had ever conquered, he said:

"So, Polluted Swamp, welcome to the Transylvania family pack! If you don’t respond to my invitation, I’ll take your silence as acceptance.

Hmph, honestly serve the grand ambitions of Sir Murphy. One day...

you too will become a land of legends."
