Chapter 1219: 412. Dog Planners’ Daily Work: Facial Modeling System Officially in Testing_2
"I think I’m a decent Summoner, so you shouldn’t belittle the efforts I’ve put into the art of summoning..."
"Oh, so you’ve lowered your standards to enjoying the nonsensical praise from your flattering summons?"
Triss fiddled with the Nocturne Wand, disdainfully saying:
"Not to mention George’s pitiful rank not even reaching that of ’Alpha Wolf’, you actually believe the words of an ignorant beast?
Would you like to compare your progress in the path of summoning with that of your disciple?
Though limited by the oppression of the Scorpion Lion and unable to summon more Star World Creatures, he has managed in just over a month to deepen his Psychic Bond with Stinky Bao far beyond the level of yours with George.
In this respect, your disciple is much better than you are.
Murphy!
Fatigue is just fatigue.
I can understand that you might not be interested in or even wary of the mysteries of Spiritual Energy, but that’s no excuse to spend all your time on swordsmanship training and deliberately create weaknesses for yourself.
I don’t care!
Starting tonight, you must make time for my Psychic intensive training, at least bringing your skills in both summoning technique and psychic formulae up to par with your swordsmanship!"
"Ah..."
Murphy sighed.
The handsome Vampire Lord’s demeanor shifted from a child sneaking to watch adult videos in his room to a naughty child being called in by a teacher due to poor grades.
He felt he had truly messed up.
If only he had not borrowed the Psychic Notepad from the young lady and learned from Kudell and Maxim to specialize in physical professions, it could have been a step towards great power.
This multi-class sounding cool actually meant that Murphy had to put in double or even several times the effort of an ordinary person to achieve proficiency in both professions.
"Focus! You need to focus right now."
Triss, seeing Murphy’s reluctance, slapped him on the back of his head to get him focused on the Psychic reshaping ritual in front of him.
But in fact, the process was being automatically advanced by the system administration, with Murphy merely serving as a provider of Spiritual Energy and going through some spell-casting motions.
A 20% success rate doomed this from being smooth sailing.
Lumina’s new body was quickly assembled, shaping it based on Lady Lainnia into a Moon Elf’s slightly finer and more elongated human female form, then making "adjustments" on the limbs and main torso. To Murphy, it felt like "3D Psychic Printing."
Not just shaping the appearance but also the internal transformations.
Things went smoothly up to this point, but trouble followed.
Murphy’s insufficient knowledge of the species directly resulted in his indecision on many details while shaping Lumina’s new form. It was like an incomplete painting, no matter how Murphy stretched his imagination he couldn’t complete the complex image.
But he soon relaxed.
From the perspective of "Dog Planner," he didn’t necessarily have to get her racial transformation perfect on the first try.
And it wasn’t him being lazy!
Since such a crucial feature as race transformation had to have its exclusive quest line in the game, it wouldn’t make sense otherwise.
Since there needed to be a lengthy quest chain, Lumina’s new form didn’t have to be perfect.
Unlocking new talents and skills step by step matched the "progressive" gameplay narrative experience and would also compensate for his poor craftsmanship.
This thought made Murphy exclaim how he was truly a damn genius!
So he immediately gave up carving out the finer details of Lumina’s form, after fully applying his 20% understanding of the Moon Elf race information, he turned his head and softly told Triss that she should take over fine-tuning Lumina’s physical form, trying to simulate the external conditions perfectly despite the internal deficiencies.
Triss gladly agreed.
She saw little Mo Fei’s distress; not that he didn’t want to give his fighter a 100% surprise, but rather that he couldn’t yet.
For Triss, Psychic Weaving was too simple.
She started with broad strokes like a sculptor delicately carving stone, soon shaping Lumina’s appearance into the classic Moon Elf form and slightly adjusting the chest area.
Triss was quite a "traditional" Vampire Psychic in this regard.
In her view, there wasn’t truly a "Great Demon" in the Elf race, barely a C+ at most. Regardless of the elf faction, they all valued nimbleness and agility; too large assets would undoubtedly hinder their swift movements in the woods.
Murphy didn’t miss this detail, the corner of the Vampire Lord’s eye twitching, Hey! You’re going to make Lumina curse the realism of the game!
Triss ignored Murphy’s plaintive look.
After completing her sculpting of the limbs and torso, she was ready to move on to finishing Lumina’s facial features but Murphy stopped her with a raised hand.
"Let her do the last step herself."
The Vampire Lord looked at the projection body that had been reshaped but had a face full of vague psychic light and shadows. He whispered to Triss:
