Kadu parried with his sword, and the monster’s sharp fangs left a rice-grain-sized notch on the blade.

As their eyes met, the monster reached out with its claws, attempting to grab Kadu, but he kicked it squarely in the chest. The creature howled as it was sent flying backwards, crashing into the swarm of monsters below.

They were defending only a small section of the wall. More monsters climbed up from other places and continued surging toward the mountain where Shao Zifeng was located.

"Scream!"

After slicing another monster, Cam and she stood back to back: "Sister, there are too many."

Kadu pursed her lips: "Kill!"

Looking back at Kadu who had charged into the swarm of monsters, Cam let out a battle cry and engaged with the monsters once more.

The sounds of slashing and howling pierced through the veil of rain, reaching the summit where Crystal Stone’s forehead bore an enigmatic eye that pulsated curiously, ever-watchful of the battle below.

Shao Zifeng gazed at the fog above the horde of monsters, lightly placing his hand on Crystal Stone’s large head: "Go if you want."

Crystal Stone looked at Shao Zifeng with some concern.

Thick dark-blue blood gushed out. Shao Zifeng grabbed the blade and pressed down, tearing open the monster’s chest.

More monsters clambered from below the cliff. Shao Zifeng kicked out, sending the mid-air creature flying back onto those that had just climbed up.

Amidst a flurry of angry roars, hundreds of monsters fell like raindrops from the cliffside, clearing an empty space.

Shao Zifeng stumbled backward, and simultaneously, he flipped the Whale Horn Blade in his hand, pointing its sharp blade behind him.

With the boost from Ghost God Sacrifice and Giant Power, the monster behind Shao Zifeng was sent flying, bouncing off the rain-slicked ground before tumbling down the cliff.

In the rustling sound of rain, monsters climbed up from all around.

Shao Zifeng surveyed his surroundings, his eyes suddenly igniting with deep-purple flames. A thick black fog burst forth from within him, shrouding the blade in its grasp.

"Since you won’t come out," Shao Zifeng bent slightly, "then I’ll keep killing until you do!"

As the words left his lips, Shao Zifeng charged at the monsters like an arrow released from its bowstring, and the already restless creatures leaped into the air, pouncing on him from all directions.
