The scene appeared bustling and prosperous. After the premiere ended, Lu Weixi stood up, ready to celebrate with Xue Feifei. Just as she rose, a young man approached her and asked, "Excuse me, are you Miss Lu Weixi?"

Lu Weixi looked up to see a man dressed in black, with a very ordinary face—the kind that one would forget after a glance—wearing a staff badge. The face looked slightly familiar, as if she’d seen him somewhere before.

She didn’t respond but instead inquired, "Who are you?"

"Miss Xue Feifei has invited you to her private box."

Lu Weixi was momentarily startled; the timing and location matched up, so she didn’t think too much and stood up.

With Xue Feifei still taking photos above, Lu Weixi stood up and followed the man out of the venue. The man led her towards the backstage area, and the further they walked, the fewer people there were. Suddenly, she felt something was amiss and decided to say, "I—I need to visit the restroom first; could you wait for me outside?"

The man, of course, wouldn’t dare to object and just smiled, saying, "The private box has a restroom."

"Sorry, I really can’t wait right now. And we don’t know when Feifei will be back. I’d like to use the restroom first; I see there’s one over there." Saying this, she turned and headed towards the more crowded area. The restroom had a long queue, and she swiftly made her way inside.

The man waited outside; Lu Weixi peeked out and saw him apparently making a phone call, with a slightly menacing look in his eyes. Not feeling reassured, she made a call to Xue Feifei’s assistant, "Did Feifei ask you to come pick me up just now?"

The assistant was confused: "No. Sister Fei is still on stage. She said she would come to find you later. What’s wrong?"
