After stepping out of the laboratory, the area outside was bustling with noise. He glanced over and realized that the cosmetics development department was organizing materials, preparing to create a new product.

There were many researchers in the cosmetics department, making it quite noisy. Some were moving newly delivered materials from the warehouse, some were categorizing the materials to be used, and others were loudly instructing the transfer and storage of materials.

One of the advantages of the fifth layer was that the cosmetics development department completely concealed the existence of Li Chen’s laboratory.

Just then, Wang Lei came down, and upon seeing Li Chen, he instantly showed a smile, "Mr. Cheen, the latest perfume we developed is based on your previous recipe. Care to give it a try?"

"Mr. Cheen, don’t be like that. You’re so skilled at perfumery, who else should I ask?" Wang Lei said with a smile.

Li Chen had no choice but to take it and take a sniff. A rich fragrance wafted out, which soon transformed into a subtle scent of jasmine.

"It’s a bit strong," Li Chen commented and saw Wang Qianqian sniffing the air beside him. He turned to her and said, "Qianqian, don’t you like to collect perfumes? Try this one."

Handing the perfume to Wang Qianqian, she sniffed it carefully and then said seriously, "There’s too much essence, and it seems there’s a heavy dose of synthetic fragrance. I suggest switching to petal fragrances. Using botanicals would not make it as strong to begin with and the scent would be purer."

Wang Lei’s eyes brightened, "Mr. Cheen, this young lady of yours isn’t bad, not bad at all. The synthetic essence was a cost consideration, but I’ll make some adjustments when I get back."

After Wang Lei left, Wang Qianqian looked at Li Chen with a flushed face, "Brother Cheen, how did I do?"

"Of course, Qianqian was great," Li Chen chuckled.

While Li Chen and Wang Qianqian were chatting, suddenly, cries of alarm came from nearby: "There’s a monster!"

A monster?

Li Chen was stunned, and so was Wang Qianqian. Surely there couldn’t be monsters in the real world?

The two hurried toward the spacious hall, where a large crowd of employees stood, some with faces of shock, others with fright, but without exception, all their gazes were on a box that had been opened in the middle.

On top of that box, a plump, white radish was wriggling, as if its legs were trapped, struggling vigorously to pull itself up.

The employee who had opened the box had already been scared backwards. The staff from the cosmetics development department was staring at the radish with utter astonishment.

"Has the radish turned into a spirit?" Someone said incredulously.

The others rubbed their eyes vigorously, as if they couldn’t believe what was happening in front of them.

This was nothing short of a supernatural phenomenon.

Li Chen was also surprised, but the next moment, he felt a strong attraction from this radish-like creature. It seemed like its essence was greatly beneficial to his True Qi.

Under everyone’s gaze, the radish finally pulled itself free, clumsily somersaulted in mid-air, and landed on a table.

Suddenly, above the radish, two eyes appeared, followed by a nose, a mouth, and facial features emerged.
