When Li Chen emerged from Alice’s laboratory, a rare smile was present on his face.

Alice’s research had always been a key focus for Li Chen, but due to recent challenges and a bottleneck in her work, there had been no communication between them. Now, Alice had finally made a breakthrough.

He had received news from the Nether Army that monsters were surging out of the ruins in massive numbers.

At that moment, a voice suddenly came from behind Li Chen.

"What is it?" Li Chen turned slightly and looked at the Nether Army soldier standing at the laboratory’s entrance, prompting a question.

"They’ve arrived!"

Li Chen couldn’t help but smooth his hair back; this woman was still the same.

"No, I just wanted you to meet some old friends."

"Old friends?" Alice was startled, then looked at Li Chen, her eyes subsequently reflecting surprise, "You called them over?"

"Yes." Li Chen nodded, "I reckon with their speed, they should reach here within ten minutes, perhaps?"

"It won’t take ten minutes." Just as Li Chen finished speaking, light laughter came from outside the door.

Hearing this voice, Li Chen also turned his head with a smile, "Wangyang, I didn’t expect you’d be the first to arrive."

"No, no, no! Boss, I was the first one here!" At that moment, another voice came from the side. At the doorway, Ning Wangyang and Ye Tu walked in side by side.

"King of the Netherworld!"

"Alright, now that everyone is here, I also want to say a few words," Li Chen began in a mild voice.

Hearing Li Chen’s words, everyone instinctively tensed up.

Although they were curious about why Li Chen had assembled them all, even going so far as to summon Ning Wangyang and Ye Tu, the two who usually kept out of affairs, they were still loyal to the King of the Netherworld’s commands.

"Ye Tu, you too were raised by me from scratch, you should know my strength," Li Chen said to the two, speaking calmly, "Now, you two join forces and attack me together."
