Chapter 627: Chapter 599 Hotel

After discussing with Lin Xiaoxiao, Li Chen left the villa directly.

Otherwise, he feared that if he stayed any longer, he might do something beastly. Of course, even though leaving like this was somewhat inhumane, it was still better than behaving improperly towards his sister-in-law in front of Aunt Wang.

Well, even if he wanted to do something, he would have to wait until Aunt Wang wasn’t around, wouldn’t he?

Li Chen suddenly slapped his forehead, "What the hell am I thinking?"

He had deliberately skipped work today just to search in Linchuan, to see if he could find any trace of the Black General and An Qin.

An Qin was fine; leaving the Black General around was definitely a huge potential threat.

From the murderous intent and undisguised greed that the Black General had directed at him, Li Chen could feel the threat this man posed.

Driving his car, Li Chen began to roam the streets and alleys of Linchuan.

He knew the chances were slim by such searching method, but strong individuals often share a sort of inexplicable perception. Li Chen was confident that within a certain range, he could sense the presence of the two.

The entire Nether Army in Linchuan had started to get busy, and he felt he could no longer just wait around.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Li Chen’s eyebrows perked, and as his phone rang, he answered the call. The voice of a Nether Army member came from the other end, "Reporting to Lord Nether King, we have found the hotel where the woman in white had previously stayed."

"Good, tell me the location, I’ll be right there," Li Chen said.

At the same time, a sense of regret inevitably rose in Li Chen’s heart.

They had only found the hotel she once stayed in, which meant she had already left.

However, the current Li Chen was definitely not going to miss any trace of evidence. With a frown, he drove directly to the hotel the Nether Army had mentioned.

"Is this the place?" Li Chen looked at the two Nether Army Warriors waiting for him at the entrance and asked, "Has anyone touched her room?"

"Not yet," one of them looked at Li Chen and said, "Before you arrived, we had booked the room in advance and stopped the cleaning staff; nothing in the room has been moved at all."

Li Chen nodded, "Well done, take me to see it."

The two nodded and then led Li Chen to the room An Qin had once occupied.

Upon entering the room, Li Chen noticed that everything seemed almost untouched, with no signs of things being placed around – it was clear An Qin hadn’t left any clues for him, though she had stayed there.

Sniffing the faint scent of a girl that still lingered in the room, Li Chen shook his head slightly. It seemed that the other party knew he had found her, which was why she had left in such a hurry.

"What about the hotel? Did you find out anything?" Li Chen asked.

"We only found some basic information; there’s nothing else..." One person next to Li Chen said and then pulled out a piece of paper that seemed freshly printed from his chest and handed it to Li Chen.

Looking at the information on the paper, Li Chen shook his head helplessly – these were obviously meaningless.

But upon seeing the photo, Li Chen was slightly stunned.

"An Qin..." Li Chen whispered softly, looking at the photo.

In his few encounters with An Qin, Li Chen had managed to learn her name, but the person depicted on this paper was undoubtedly An Qin in disguise, even with a different name.

"It seems finding her won’t be an easy task," he murmured, putting the information away and leaving the room.

Since An Qin had already left, there were no clues to be found here, so it was pointless for him to stay any longer.

Descending from the hotel, Li Chen paused in surprise the moment he reached the lobby.

The hotel lobby, which had been somewhat empty when Li Chen had first come down, had become crowded in just a short time.

Of course, most people were just there to watch the excitement, and the protagonist who made the hotel lively now stood at the reception desk.

"What kind of service attitude is this? No rooms available? If you have no rooms, then what’s the point of running a hotel!" A man stood at the front desk, pointing at the slightly fragile-looking clerk and berating her loudly.

"But, you are asking for a suite, and the suites are really all booked up," the girl at the desk looked at the man with a face full of grievance. "If you just need a standard room, we still have those available..."

"What standard room!" The man’s face grew even more arrogant upon hearing the clerk’s words.

"Are you looking down on me or what? I’ll have you know, today I, Tang Ning, am determined to stay in a suite! If you have one, I’ll take it, and if you don’t, you’d better make one available!"

Tang Ning’s face was the picture of arrogance, "Let me tell you, in Linchuan, there’s nothing I want to do that anyone can stop. Believe me, I have a hundred ways to make your stay at this hotel unbearable!"

Tang Ning’s arrogance was undoubtedly offensive to many.

But, as the saying goes, if it’s none of your business, no need to get hung up about it. Hence, although most people felt sympathy for the young clerk at the desk, not a single one of them stepped forward to intervene.

Even other staff at the desk had retreated to a safe distance, seemingly afraid of getting into trouble themselves.

"But... there really are no rooms left!" The girl nearly cried out in distress at Tang Ning’s words, but she had no idea how to handle the situation.

"Actually, there might be another solution," Tang Ning suddenly said with a sly smile to the girl behind the desk. "If you’re willing to keep me company, staying in a standard room for a day would be no problem at all."

As he spoke, Tang Ning’s face revealed a lecherous grin.

"What do you say, think it over?" Tang Ning patted his chest and boasted, "I, young master, have money and power. Stick with me, and you’ll live the good life!"

With that, Tang Ning stepped back to highlight the two bodyguards standing behind him.

It had to be said, these two muscular bodyguards in sunglasses may not have demonstrated their strength yet, but their mere presence seemed quite intimidating.

Standing between those two bodyguards, Tang Ning looked like a chick among eagles.

"I..." The girl was completely panicked, casting her eyes around helplessly, not understanding how she had come across such a situation, how it had happened to her.

"Either you come with me, or you call your manager over here, and I’ll get you fired. It’s your choice," Tang Ning said smugly. "Stop looking, no one’s going to help you. Who would dare meddle in my affairs?"

However, just as Tang Ning finished speaking, he saw Li Chen, frowning, walking towards them.
