Li Chen quietly went upstairs and didn’t turn on the lights. Instead, he went straight to Lin Yi’s room.

He peered in to see Lin Yi asleep on the bed, but Lin Xiaoxiao wasn’t there; she was sleeping in her own room.

Li Chen tiptoed out of his shoes and clothes, then went to the other side of the bed, quietly pulling back the covers to slide in.

"You’re back?"

But suddenly, Lin Yi moved a bit, then turned around to look at Li Chen.

Li Chen jumped in shock, unable to help but give a sheepish smile. "Baby, how come you’re not asleep yet?"

At this moment, Lin Yi’s beautiful long hair lay scattered across the bed, her features breathtakingly beautiful, and right then, this heavenly immortal-like beauty was quietly looking at Li Chen.

"Uh, I had some things to take care of," Li Chen said, feeling a bit embarrassed under Lin Yi’s intense gaze.

"Then let’s keep our voices down," Li Chen suggested and then flipped over to press himself onto Lin Yi, grasping both her hands and kissing her passionately.

The next morning, after getting out of bed, Li Chen and Lin Yi went downstairs to eat together.

Watching the closeness between Li Chen and Lin Yi, especially the rosy color on Lin Yi’s face, Lin Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but mutter to herself that they must have done ’that’ again last night.

"Sis, why did you let him get into bed with you last night?" Lin Xiaoxiao spoke up.

Li Chen, sitting across from Lin Xiaoxiao, replied directly, "Would you rather I shared the bed with you instead?"

Lin Xiaoxiao snorted, "Of course it should be me. I’m her sister."

"And I’m her husband," Li Chen shot back.

Aunt Wang came over with breakfast, smiling cheerily. "Alright, my son-in-law, young miss, stop bickering and eat your food."

Lin Xiaoxiao glared at Li Chen and then picked up her chopsticks to grab a bun, with Li Chen doing the same. However, he quickly noticed that Lin Xiaoxiao was deliberately opposing him. As he was about to pick a bun from the left, she would move her chopsticks there.

If he aimed for the right, Lin Xiaoxiao’s chopsticks would follow suit.

"Brother-in-law, why do you keep snatching my buns?" Lin Xiaoxiao looked up.

Damn, this girl is playing the victim first?

"Xiaoxiao, you go ahead and pick," Li Chen said with a smile, withdrawing his chopsticks, waiting to see what she would do next.

Then, work began.

Time always flies when you’re working, and before they knew it, it was noon and the other employees were stretching and getting up.

With that said, Wang Qianqian was pulled away by the girls.

Li Chen chuckled wryly; this was truly something – girlfriends can be a terrifying species.

And at this moment, Lin Xiaoxiao happened to come looking for him.
