Entering the room, Li Chen didn’t see Xiaoxiao and her companion, but he heard voices coming from another room.

"Ouch, Xiaoxiao, stop moving," came Wang Qianqian’s coquettish complaint.

"Qianqian, I’m even envious of your bust," Lin Xiaoxiao teased.

Upon hearing such a conversation, a rush of adrenaline surged through Li Chen, and he wanted to go see, but found the door closed, unable to enter.

With a mental sigh of disappointment, Li Chen had intended to leave, but as his gaze wandered, he saw two open suitcases.

The suitcases had been brought by Wang Qianqian and another girl from Linchuan, containing clothes and daily necessities since girls tend to have a bit more to bring.

The items that caught Li Chen’s attention, however, were indeed the clothes in those cases.

Li Chen immediately got excited; how could he miss out on such good stuff?

He glanced at the other room; the door was still closed, and he guessed the girls would take a while longer to come out. He had enough Time.

Li Chen quickly made his way to the suitcases, admiring the contents.

Suddenly, the door opened, catching Li Chen off guard. He turned around sharply, only to find Lin Xiaoxiao and her friend had changed their clothes and were just stepping out.

"Brother Cheen?!"

Surprise laced Wang Qianqian’s words, for to them, he seemed like a thief sneaking into someone’s room to steal clothes.

"You!" In Lin Xiaoxiao’s heart, there was both embarrassment and annoyance.

The atmosphere was about to turn awkward, when suddenly, Li Chen became serious, "Xiaoxiao, this is for your health."

Health?

Lin Xiaoxiao certainly didn’t believe it, "You previously said you came in to catch a thief, now you’re saying it’s for our health?"

Li Chen spoke with conviction, "I just came in and saw the suitcases and thought I should check them."

"What does this have to do with anything, Xiaoxiao?" Li Chen shook his head, his heart brimming with laughter.

"Qianqian, let’s hit him!" Lin Xiaoxiao began rolling up her sleeves.

"Okay." After a moment’s thought, Wang Qianqian agreed, balling up her fists.

Li Chen sensed something ominous.

"Xiaoxiao, what are you guys trying to do?"

"Qianqian, are you really going to hit me?"

"Help!"

"No, please!"

While Li Chen continued to cry out, this excited Lin Xiaoxiao even more.

"Don’t hit me."

Li Chen said with feigned "terror."

Gleeful smiles spread across the faces of Lin Xiaoxiao and Wang Qianqian, and then, they lunged at Li Chen.
