Li Chen chuckled, "Well, that’s not entirely true. A charming and courageous guy like me who helps a police beauty with an investigation isn’t something you see every day, Officer Yu. You have to have evidence for everything."

"Then could you please listen to me describe the case situation seriously?" Yu Yueying said, annoyed.

"I listened, isn’t it just about a student who stole from the jewelry store? Then we just grab him, and that’s it. What’s so hard about that?" Li Chen said.

Li Chen laughed, "What does it matter at this point? I’m merely exercising your rights for you. Just give me the handcuffs, I’ll bring the suspect to you later."

It wasn’t his first time committing a crime, but it was his first time doing so near the school.

Just then, a man appeared at the classroom’s front door. The students sitting at the front were startled and then saw Li Chen head straight towards the lectern.

Now was just about the break between classes, with about ten minutes left before the next class. The classroom was buzzing with noise, with only a few students at the front noticing Li Chen.

Li Chen turned on the megaphone: "Is Zhou Dachuan here, Zhou Dachuan? I’m looking for Zhou Dachuan."

All at once, the students in Accounting Class 1 raised their heads to look at Li Chen standing in front of the lectern, and they were stunned.

"You can call me Officer Li Chen." Li Chen lifted the handcuffs in his hand, smiling faintly.

Li Chen was only about 1.7 meters tall, while Zhou Dachuan was a full 1.8 meters!

With his height advantage, Li Chen seemed quite passive.

"Zhou Dachuan isn’t going to start a fight, is he?"

Damn, if it weren’t for trying out being a cop today, I would have taken action long ago. All this questioning, why not just fight it out.

Li Chen was frustrated inside; if not for promising Yu Yueying to not act rashly, he would have smacked you into submission long ago.

"I’m just gathering information," Li Chen said with a slight smile. "I saw you on the surveillance camera earlier, so I need your cooperation."

Zhou Dachuan’s face involuntarily changed, a reaction that did not escape Li Chen’s notice. Without a doubt, it was this Zhou Dachuan.

"I’m telling you, I didn’t go to the jewelry store. Also, you better step aside, or I’ll make you regret it," Zhou Dachuan said fiercely, as the students around held their breath watching. Fighting was Zhou Dachuan’s notoriety across the campus, he was skilled, and this cop was too frail to stand a chance.

"That won’t do; if you don’t clear things up, I’ll have to take you in," Li Chen shook his head. Unable to restrain himself any longer, Zhou Dachuan shouted, "Fuck your mother!"

At the same time, his right fist, swift as the wind, aimed a punch at Li Chen, but halfway through, it was caught by Li Chen.

Zhou Dachuan was startled, struggled a bit, but found he couldn’t move his fisted hand. He then tried with his other fist, but Li Chen caught that too.
