Just as they were chatting, the coffee shop’s door opened again. Li Chen looked up to see Bob entering with two police officers.

Audrey and the others panicked upon realizing Bob had brought the police.

The officers were clearly armed, meaning if Li Chen resisted, they were prepared to shoot, which only increased Audrey’s worry.

"That’s him! He’s the illegal immigrant." Bob pointed at Li Chen, prompting the two officers to approach him.

Li Chen watched the approaching officers, who, in turn, looked at Li Chen with his faint smile and started to feel perplexed.

The officer on the left nudged his partner and whispered, "Have we seen this guy before?"

That remark prompted the officer on the right to examine Li Chen more closely, and his expression suddenly changed.

"Let’s go."

Without further discussion, the officer on the right turned to leave, pulling his partner along with him.

Bob looked smugly at Li Chen but was stunned as the officers turned and walked away. Hey, wait a minute—you’re here to make an arrest, why are you running off?

"Hey, wait! He’s here illegally!" Bob shouted, but Bella and the others watched in amazement. What was going on? Why did both officers just leave upon seeing Li Chen?

The two let out a sigh of relief, quickly reaching for the cup. However, there was only one cup, and for a moment, they seemed to be competing for it, quite awkwardly indeed.

Bob, beside them, was slack-jawed, staring at Li Chen. Was this guy the Godfather of the KKK?
