Li Chen’s expression became slightly bemused. Lin Yi was known for her steady driving, and besides, their car was equipped with a dashcam. It was clear that they were indeed encountering a scammer.

Lin Yi sat in the driver’s seat while the pedestrians ahead began to turn their gazes towards them, prompting her to honk the horn several times.

"I’ll go take a look," Lin Yi said reluctantly, pushing the car door open and stepping out.

Li Chen told Wang Qianqian to stay in the back seat and then got out of the car himself.
