Chapter 131: Chapter 110: Taking Advantage as a Matter of Course

"Ah!"

Yang Xin screamed at the top of her lungs, a sound so piercing that even Li Chen couldn’t bear it—truly a woman’s ultimate weapon.

Quick as lightning, Yang Xin snatched the quilt from beside her and covered herself.

"You’re nothing but a hooligan." Yang Xin was on the verge of tears.

"Hey, enough already. Can’t you calm down and listen to me for a second?" Li Chen was getting annoyed—after all, he was the one who’d pulled her back from the Ghost Gate.

"You’re a hooligan!" Yang Xin was fuming, and once again she raised her hand to slap Li Chen.

But this time, her hand was stopped mid-air, caught by a strong hand that seized her wrist.

Yang Xin struggled, but she couldn’t break free from Li Chen’s grip.

"Let go of me, you hooligan," Yang Xin raged.

"You keep calling me a hooligan, fine, then I’ll show you a hooligan," Li Chen replied with a cold smile, his temper flaring.

"What are you going to do?" Yang Xin suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Didn’t you say I was a hooligan? Then, of course, I’m going to do what a hooligan does." As soon as Li Chen finished speaking, he lunged at Yang Xin.

"How about that? Is it hooligan enough for you?" Li Chen snickered, "But I think it’s not enough for you yet."

Saying this, Li Chen didn’t give her any chance to resist and leaned in to kiss her.

Yang Xin had wanted to scold Li Chen, but when she saw him coming in for the kiss, all her words got stuck in her throat, and she could only make a muffled sound.

Yang Xin’s eyes opened wide in shock, but soon enough, she began hitting Li Chen with force. To Li Chen, however, Yang Xin’s blows felt like nothing more than a light rain.

"Damn it!" Li Chen backed away from Yang Xin, exclaiming angrily, "Are you a dog or what?"

Turns out Yang Xin had bitten him, catching Li Chen off guard.

"You hooligan, let me go," Yang Xin struggled to say.

"Stop moving around! Keep it up, and I’ll take you right here and now!" Li Chen threatened, pretending to be vicious.

"You wouldn’t dare!" Yang Xin said angrily, like a little lion.

"I’m already branded a hooligan, what’s there to dare?" Li Chen scoffed, "Also, you better not move too much; I can’t promise what might happen."

Hearing Li Chen’s threat, Yang Xin huffed but stayed still.

"Listen up," Li Chen began, "I’m only going to explain this once."

Yang Xin turned her head away, uninterested in his explanation.

"I told you before that you had an illness at your Moon Chest and needed early treatment. Do you have any idea that if it hadn’t been for my healing, you probably would have kicked the bucket just now?" Li Chen said calmly, picking up a Silver Needle from the bed, "Look, this is the evidence."

With a glance from the corner of her eye, Yang Xin believed him, but how could she admit defeat verbally?

"Your condition is somewhat special, located at the Moon Chest, and some acupoints can’t be found through clothes," Li Chen explained, "Besides, you were deathly pale at that moment. I was short on time and didn’t think too much about it."

"So that justifies you touching my Moon Chest?" Yang Xin scoffed.

Li Chen just smirked, his face free of embarrassment, "Acupuncture was just the first step; the second step was to expel the illness from your body, which required close physical contact. It was a necessary step."

"If you don’t believe me, you can try feeling your Moon Chest. Doesn’t it feel much clearer, without the previous blockage?" Li Chen asked.

On hearing this, Yang Xin felt her Moon Chest, and indeed it was as Li Chen had said.

"After this, you just need to take care of it, and you’ll be cured," Li Chen said, "Now, do you still think I was taking advantage of you?"

Yang Xin frowned, something was off—the look on his face before, she couldn’t have misread it.

After a long silence, Yang Xin said, "Stand up first."

"You need to speak up first, or I won’t get up," Li Chen replied, "You’ve been under the impression that I was after you for so long, you should at least apologize, right?"

Li Chen chuckled, a hint of triumph flickering in his eyes—he managed to take advantage of the situation and now seemed to be in the right, making the other person feel guilty.

With that skill, he wanted to shout, "Who else?"

Yang Xin snorted—she couldn’t possibly say such a thing.

Seeing that Yang Xin remained silent, the two of them were at an impasse for a moment.

"Fine, let’s just forget about this time," Li Chen said, getting off the bed and stowing away his Silver Needles.

"Turn around," Yang Xin instructed.

"Turn around for what?" Li Chen asked curiously.

"Do you want to watch me get dressed?" Yang Xin asked angrily.

Li Chen shrugged. He wouldn’t mind, but she wouldn’t allow it.

"Turn around!" Yang Xin raised her voice.

Li Chen relented and turned away. As soon as Li Chen faced the other direction, Yang Xin kept a watchful eye on him while hurriedly picking up her clothes scattered on the bed and putting them on.

"Don’t look back!" Yang Xin, noticing Li Chen might glance back, hurriedly cautioned.

Li Chen was about to speak when suddenly, he heard a noise at the door.

"Do you live alone?" Li Chen frowned.

"Yes," answered Yang Xin, but Li Chen’s gaze sharpened as he said, "Then why do I hear someone opening the door?"

"What did you say?" Yang Xin was startled, and at that moment, there came the sound of a click—someone had opened the door.
